Checked in last January with my mom. Quaint exterior, very singaporean. I loved how Joseph the staff in charge for our stay was so warm and welcoming, making sure our accommodation was pleasant. Their continental breakfast is a must-try, delicious oatmeal and gourmet bread on the side. Location-wise, its located at the heart of Chinatown just a few walks from the Buddha Tooth Relic and street shops. Will check in again on our future visit.

This place is a true find. When I arrived at about 4:30 am and was met by name at the cab, I was impressed. My freshly renovated room was so well thought out. Little details like whisper quiet AC, proper lighting, an umbrella in the closet, a nespresso machine, even an electrical outlet in the safe to recharge your laptop - all clearly illustrate great care. The building is a 1900's era heritage building and each of the 20 rooms are a bit different. My room was just right in size and my be... Read more

This review is a little late but we had a staycation here in February. We simply love this hotel. It's housed within a heritage building and it looks great outside and inside. The property is literally minutes away from the CBD area and right next to Chinatown. Malls and Shopping are within a 5-10 minute walking distance. Transportation is also convenient with MRT stations closed by and taxis abundant in the area. The room is spacious, with an absolutely comfortable bed and gorgeous furnishin... Read more

Been there 2 times for business trip and already feels like home. Not the type of big modern hotels with 30 floors but really a very good choice for a cosy hotel. Offers all standard amenities and free wifi coverage is excellent all around the hotel. Personnel always welcome you with a big smile and very friendly. There is also a trendy bar restaurant at the roof garden where you can get nice view of singapore main town and relax with a cold beer. Located at a very central point next to all th... Read more

If you want a hotel which is small, intimate and stylish, then this is one you should consider. Great location in the best part of Chinatown, it has a lot of charm with it's colonial exterior and low rise feel. It's just 50m to some great little bars and restaurants and yet it is really quiet. Friendly staff, a choice of three types of breakfast (a well proportioned amount without being excessive). They also stock the fridge each day with 2 apple juice, 2 orange juice, 2 coca colas, 2 sprites, a... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights during a business trip to Singapore & was very impressed with The Club. It is smack in the centre of the lively Ann Siang Hill with its happening bar scene. If you don't like late night noise ask for a room at the rear of the hotel. I'm a sound sleeper so the noise didn't bother me. There are a number of restaurants & bars attached to the hotel and cocktail hour at Tiger's Milk offers a rooftop location. Rooms are comfortable with lovely king beds. The rate also inclu... Great hotel, nice rooms and bathrooms. The best thing for me is the Welcome drink, don't mind a recipe for it. The location was perfect as office was just opposite the hotel. Breakfast was too limited, wish could have other choices on the breakfast as well.

We received nothing but excellent and friendly service from the word Go during our 4 night stay. Very clean and quaint hotel with beautiful rooms. No risk of waking up here and not knowing what part of the world you're in. The location is sensational! So close to everything with the MRT very handy. The nightlife around Ann Siang Hill is excellent with plenty of little pubs, restaurants and roof-top bars all amongst the gorgeous old colonial buildings of Chinatown. Definitely coming back here!

What an amazing stay! From the amazingly helpful hotel staff and service, to the cell phone with free international calls and data (came in so handy while navigating the city!), to the gorgeous rooms and gloriously comfortable beds (our room with two single beds also came with a glorious bathtub) to the scrumptious breakfast every morning---made our stay an unforgettable one. Located in a wonderful neighborhood and a short walk away from the metro, the Club was an ideal home away from home.

We stayed here for two nights whilst on route to Bali . The hotel was in a great place about 5 mins walk from Chinatown and two inures walk from the Maxwell Food Centre. The staff were excellent and efficient and the rooms were a good size with a big bathroom. No balcony but we were aware of this when we booked. Overall a great place to stay and one that I would thoroughly recommend.

This hotel is in an awesome location if your out to see Singapore, drink and eat (right behind Maxwell Hawker Markets and Chinatown). But keep in mind, it is on the corner of Club Street which is the night life lane of Singapore. The hotel cutishly leave you some ear plugs and eye covers and trust me you'll need them on a Friday and Saturday night if your not out living it up. The rooms aren't always cleaned until late but other than that it's a great place for people wanting to enjoy Singapore.

It's rather difficult to find the hotel entrance but once you're inside you will definitely realise it's a hidden gem in Singapore. The hotel has been opening for quite some time already and the room is still well maintained. The current trend in SE Asia seems to be hotel conversions of old mansions or shophouses, some more successful than others. The Club has been tastefully converted, with the rooms not sacrificing and comfort. Location close to transport, Chinatown and the Maxwell Hawker Centre makes it extremely convenient for visitors to Singapore. The courtyard room we had was very quiet, although I notice eye mask and earplugs were provided. Don't miss a drink on the rooftop bar with extended happy hour.

We stayed for one night on our way through Singapore. We were greeted by friendly and hospitable staff. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable and had really lovely toiletries. The only slight downside is that it was a little noisy but I would still stay here again.

Stayed at The Club, Singapore for a week, visiting our office in Singapore. I might start by saying it may not have been the best place for the purpose of our stay. Although close to our office and very atmospheric, The Club may have not been so fit for our purpose. The Club is one of those small boutique hotels that gives you the home away from home feel that bigger chains simply can't match. The location can't be beat.
