Excellent location close to Chinatown, Clark Quay, riverside. Nice restaurants and shopping malls around the corner. Friendly staff. Breakfast was included in the price which was very good!! A nice small outdoor pool with a great view of some sky scrapers. Clean and nice decorated. The only one thing we didn't like was the size of the room!!! Too small for two people. With our two bags we didn't have more room for other things or even move around.

Excellent amenities', quality room although small. Really nice roof top pool as well. The only problem I uncounted was noisy neighbors in the adjoining room every night. There is a door between the 2 rooms without sound proofing, and the family next door had kids and were up until 2 - 3 am every night. Management did ask them to keep the noise down, but some people just dont care. This is the only reason I would not return to this hotel.

For me, no amount of gadgets and frills can compensate for lack of space and ambiance, But the 5 star hospitality of staff compensated some as did the 5 star AC, so far the only AC system in technology boosting Singapore that cools good but makes no sound at all !!! That was relaxing but after 2 days the costly capsule cookie jar room got on my nerve

No.1 for location, easy access to everything. S$10 taxi to Vivo City to catch Sentosa Express to all the fun activities on Sentosa Island! Walking distance from Boat Quay, Marina Bay Sands & Clarke Quay. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The room we had was on 4th floor, big ensuite & room has all you need, but a little cramped as no where to put your suitcases. I would recommend this hotel, I would stay here again but I would book the 22sqm room instead of the 15sqm room we have experien... Read more

We had stayed at this hotel for 3 days in September 2015. The positive of this hotel is definitely the location. It is centrally located and was very close to Clark Quay and 2 MRT stations, Clark Quay and Raffles Square. The room size is too tiny and could be a shock for people who may have not come across such sizes earlier, though it had all facilities and was extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, except for one member at the cafe who seem to be giving differential treat... Read more

I have booked the deluxe room. It is real strategic location for a business traveler as it is close to many business area like Capital Square. The room size is consider OK with that price in Singapore. Good water pressure for showering. Aircond need a little time to get chill but is acceptable. It goes well the entire night. There are many power point available to charge your gadget. All the amenities are available. One down side is i can't find the hair dryer or maybe somewhere else and i am ju... Read more

Good location, easy walking distance to mrt and chinatown. Rooms arent especially big but small seems to be standard in Singapore unless you want to pay a big rate. But at least the bed is high enough of the ground to easily slide a large suitcase under, making maximum use of the space available. Very clean. The free sodas and earl grey replaced daily by the cleaning staff is a nice touch as well.

Considering the hotel prices in Singapore Hotel Clover is a reasonable choice. Hotel is located in a good area and easy to explore the city. The rooms are smallish, but clean. Staff is friendly. The roof-top pool is very small but better than nothing. All in all I would definitely go back if I have to travel on a tight budget.

The hotel overall is good , its place , its acess , size of room , but the air condition of rooms is bad & this is the second time for me to complain about the AC , good pool , near China town & very near to Clarke Quay

Great location, very clean, modern, very friendly and helpful staff, tasty breakfast. Reasonably priced considering Singapore prices. Only con is its quite small in size, found it difficult to find a space for our suitcase. Would definitely stay again ???

Decided to try out this hotel as it is near Clarke Quay and convenient to MRT station but the price is not that cheap with the room space and no breakfast. The shower is fine. However, the rooms are not soundproof. What I was disappointed with and unhappy with is waking up to uninvited guests in the middle of my sleep. Had an early flight, so was rather tired and decided to sleep earlier. In the middle of our sleep..woken up by guests who checked in after 1am...and what annoyed me most was not ... Read more

We only stayed one night in this hotel. It was a nice "new york" style hotel. Small but very cosy. Very modern and the breakfast the day after was amazing. Best hotel breakfast we've ate in Singapore during our stay. They provide all the little things you need when in the hotel. Displayed lovely in your bathroom. Complimentary drinks are good as well.

Very well located hotel, sort of in the middle of clarke quay, chinatown and boat quoy, and walking distance to all. Despite this it is in a quieter street. Room was on the smaller side (even for us, having just come from Japan) we found it difficult with 2 suitcases unless they were under the bed. The shower and toilet were quite spacious though! Loved the rain shower head. Room very clean and modern. Unfortunately the bed was quite hard making for an uncomfortable sleep. The only other negati... Read more

Location on Clarke Quay was great - central to everything including MRT. We stayed 5 nights at the end of a long trip. Bed was comfortable but short for my 6ft+ fiance. We upgraded to the mid-priced room for more floor space and I'd hate to see the smaller one especially with 4 suitcases between us. I found the glass door (frosted) into the bathroom a bit strange, wasn't very private if one of us was on the toilet...! Wifi was good and reliable, staff were nice, breakfast was good value. Hotel located in a central location excellent for exploring the Boat Quay, China Town and the colonial area by foot but also very close (200m) to a central subway station (Clarke Quay) for further destinations such as Sentosa Island, the Botanical Gardens and Little India. Rooms are small but good, staff is friendly and a dive in the swimming pool on the 5th floor with its glass bottom over the reception just makes your city trip complete! Had a great stay.

Difficult to recommend this hotel although it's quite serviceable if you're on a budget. The room was big enough to fit a double bed but it was right up against the wall on one side. The toilet and shower were just glass units in the room and offered no privacy. The room was not big enough for two people to stand up and move at the same time. The rooftop pool was minuscule. Only enough seating for two guests. Worst of all was the breakfast room. Way too small for more than four guests at a time.... Read more

This is a pretty reasonable business hotel and has nice rooms for a good price. The location is quite good because the MRT is very close. I had a little trouble with the remote control for the TV because it did not work. It took them a little time to get it fixed, but finally gave me a different remote that worked fine. There are conveniences in the room like a button on the side table to ask for the room to be cleaned or to ask for privacy. The coffee machine was nice as well. There was no ... Read more

As said before by others the rooms are rather small, but you have enough space to at least place one suitcase underneath the bed. We stayed there for two nights and we had everything we needed, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. It is situated near clarke quai and marina bay is also reachable within walking distance and the MRT is 5min away from the hotel. All in all we can only recommend it for a stay in Singapore if you do not plan to be in the room the whole time.

Nice budget hotel ,the rooms small. I stayed there for three nights, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and always ready to help. Hotel is near to clarke Quay , boat Quay , marina bay and China town is also reachable within walking distance and the MRT is 5min away from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants around and nice bar Vasco opposite hotel. Small store 7 to 11 near 50 meters near hotel for your needs.

The rooms are small, but very well layed out, clean, new, bright in colour and very comfortable. The shower was hot & strong, bed was soft, large windows for light, good wifi & a reasonable buffet breakfast. I liked the rooftop pool with its great view and the location was better than I expected. The Hop on Hop off bus is across the street & there are unlimited restaurants & shopping at your door step.

The bathroom area is spacious! For the bedroom is more squeezy But still beautiful. It's kinda special as I have never seen a hotel like this. There is a nice view from the window when you are showering. Also there is a blind to close the window to prevent people to watch you shower lol The small corner for bathroom amenities is very well placed and beautiful! Also they have a glass door for bathroom but you can't see through with the big hotel's "sticker" on it. Maybe if you climb up or peek f... Read more

The location is great if you're visiting Singapore and want to be near the financial district 8 mins or so on foot and you will. E at boat quay But either the walls are so thin or my next door neighbour was able to snore like a wood chipper - I was able to hear every breath. So not a great nights sleep

The hotel was booked as a 4*, but really??? In this hotel there is no space. You can not be more than 1 person in the room at once!!. We upgraded to a bigger room just to find it just as small. The bed is comfy. Breakfast is terrible!!! Scruffy small cafe with food with no taste.

The ad stated the room was small by square metres and it was really small. Couldn't walk around the bed. Not enough room to hang and store things. Also the safe failed to work every time we tried it. There was also some mysterious brown liquid seeping up from the floor boards outside the shower which stained the shower mat every day. The room make up didn't seem to occur until after 4pm which was inconvenient. Soin our three night stay we never had our room made up but did get clean towels... Read more

Walking distance to Clarke Quay, MRT, Chinatown, hop-on hop-off tourist bus and local makan food stalls. Hotel Clover is spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds are firm, choice of rain shower or hand showers in modern rooms. Tea/coffee makings in each room. Staff are excellent - helpful but unobtrusive and Mike (afternoon manager during our stay) was great! Highly recommend - we rebooked for return visit!

We have just spent two nights in this small hotel in downtown Singapore en-route to a longer holiday in New Zealand. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and all the staff we met were very polite and helpful. Abdul on reception answered all our questions with great cheerfulness and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. The hotel is just a couple of hundred yards from all of the restaurants, cafes and bars lining the Singapore River frontage, and a similar distance from Clarke Qua... Read more
