I performed the Umrah in Dec 2015 in a group. We stayed in The Hilton Towers which was on the plaza of the Haram itself. The room was comfortable and well equipped with sleeping and bath amenities. The TV coverage was adequate and there was ample coverage of events in the mosques at Mekah and Madinah. In addition there were also BBC and other news channels to keep us informed of events outside. The hotel itself was large and there were restaurants for Asian and European travellers. You want to be as close to Masjid Al Haraam as possible, while you are in Makkah & spend most of the time there . Stay in Hilton Towers Makkah helps coming down & getting into the King Fahad or King Abdul Aziz gate. We had booked Haram view hotel, but due to construction work, did not get the view, we expected, however the ability to reach there any time was great. The room was spacious & clean with good service. The breakfast was excellent, although a bit expensive. This hotel is opposite King Fahd gate into the haram. It's very convenient for access BUT we were there 5 days and our room was cleaned once! Not vacuumed, or hard surfaces wiped down, mere bed making and towel change. We asked the cleaner to clean our room, he always said yes but he didn't do it. Not impressed at all. Also, the food is not Hilton standard. We ordered room service at around 5pm. It arrived after 45min, cold and very poor quality. Limp salad, cold fries, grey burgers and distinc... Read more

My prebooked meal & snacks never arrived. Duty Manager was rude and impolite. No one seems bothered about the guests except the bell boys :)

By far the best hotel in Makkah Mukarramah. Whenever I visit Makkah Mukarramah with my family we prefer to stay in this beautiful hotel. Although its a little older than all the new fancy 5star hotels around Haram, in my opinion it's the best in its class. Very near to Haram. A nice shopping center on the ground floor and a nice family food court on the lower floors.

We stepped out of the hotel and immediately our feet touched the most sacred place in the world. It was comfortable. All of our energy could be utilized in the purpose for which we went to the Holy Land. We could pray, perform Tawaaf-e-Kaabah without feeling tired. The hotel, itself is extremely comfortable with all the services that any pilgrim may require. The room are spacious, the house keeping efficient and most importantly, the bathrooms cater to the young and old alike. I would like to st... Read more

Old hotel, old design (carpet, bathrooms, rooms) and the breakfast is not tasty at all. They need to renew it, it's not the hotel the I looked for. Although the positive thing that the rooms are big and the cleaners are helpful

Was staying here during Hajj 2015 (September 2015).... Excellent Facilities with great access to Haram, Lifts can get very very busy during Salah time but can be avoided by going a little bit early, good clean rooms and service was good considering it was peak Hajj time.

Room was nothing special. No spoon provided for the unimpressive offering of coffee/tea. No freezer in fridge. No 3 pin sockets. No obvious way to open shutters/windows. NO FREE WIFI. 2 electric hotplates - for what??? Can hear neighbours both on the sides and in the corridor. What's good? comfortable beds. quiet a/c.Toiletries OK. Main advantage: proximity to Haram. Lifts usually busy/full. Main impression: overpriced.

If you want to have quick access to Haram from your hotel, Hilton Towers is a great place to stay. Lift opens at entrance of King Fahd Gate. They also have a barber shop in parking area so you don't have to go anywhere else to get out of Ihram.

We stayed here after being in a not-so-nice hotel at Madinah - so there is a stark contrast. The room is comfortable, the bed is nice, and there is a luxury of being able to read Quran while watching Kaabah from a distance. It is very convenient to perform umrah here due to the proximity. Since my mother in law and I have health problems, we opted to pray most of the time at the musolla within Hilton Towers, which was really spacious and comfortable. Because we traveled with a Malaysian trav... Read more

Checkin: I was not greeted by the person at the counter. The room that I booked was changed and I had to ask if the room I was getting is the same one that I booked. Also, at this Hotel checkin being an Hilton Gold member was an afterthought because it was only brought up when I got my room keys and the person at the counter told the bell boy, "please take care of him because he is a gold member." Being a Gold member should be the first thing that should be mentioned and appreciated. Location: ... Read more

My primary purpose of selecting this Hotel was the Location and price offered. This is why complained first night when a room with climbing one stair and away from Haram was given but on complaint a much better room was offered net evening. The other disappointment was Kitchenette without utensils. made it useless. A microwave would have been better.Internet was lousy.A part from all these things all other facilities in the room were excellent and a Plus for staff who were very cooperative and a... Read more

Anyone that visits should stay here! Absolutely amazing experience. Very close to the haram. The hotel has a private enteranxe and exit to the haram for guests, so you can easily reach the haram with a one minute walk. Additionally, the hotel is not as congested as the clock tower, so you get the proximity without the rush!

Rooms are good size and staff is very attentive to customer's needs. hotel has great dining options along with own mall and other fast food restaurants. I feel rooms need an update now as the decor is past its usable life. None the less, will prefer this hotel on others because of its location

Perfect location and nice big rooms. We had an issue where a rat came into our room which was disturbing. We were given another room much smaller. But main thing was location, would not book another hotel as this one is the one of the few hotels closest to Holy Mosque. I will definitely be going to Saudi Arabia again in near future inshallah and will look to stay at this hotel.
