I came to the hotel in the beginning of this month during a business trip. My room was lovely, quite and very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too. The location is perfect and you can get by foot to almost every touristic spot in the center. The hotel does also have free minibar and offers free bicycles, which is pretty awesome

It was a great week in an excellent hotel! I cannot say that the hotel is very centrally located, but for those who can enjoy walking for 15-30 minutes - the hotel is just great. This property is in a pretty quiet area, not much traffic or noise. Several good restaurants are around - we found and can recommend very close places for evening - the Bretzel, the Vox. The food in the hotel restaurant was not so great, but the service was good. This hotel provides scooters and bikes for free rent (!).... Read more

I suppose if you book a IHG hotel you know that you'll be getting an American style hotel with good service etc and that's exactly what the Indigo is. All the staff were superb, the rooms quiet, clean and well furnished, the breakfast choice and quality was fantastic. But you could have been anywhere - there was no feeling of being in a different city let alone country. Some people will like this but I'd have preferred a more local feel. We spent six nights here in a superior king room with city views. Our room was exceptionally spacious, nicely furnished and well laid out. We had a couch, desk and separate seating area with small table, making it extremely comfortable for the length of our stay. The shower was a great size with the choice of rainshower or removable head, good water pressure. The tea and coffee facilities were good with a nice range of tea and little espresso machine. I've decided not to hold the location against the hotel, because that is not something they can change! Just be aware before you book that the walk to Palace Square or Nevsky is about 25 mins and the nearest metro station is not really helpful since the line heads North/South. We solved this by using Uber which even for an Uber Black (Audi A6, BMW 5 series etc) was only 390 RUB (just over 5 EUR or about 6 USD) one way for such distances.
