Condado Lagoon Villas at Caribe Hilton Hotel
1 San Geronimo Street, San Juan, US 00901

The bustling nightlife of Old San Juan, Condado's glittering beaches and casinos, top-notch art museums, the performing arts center in Santurce's cultural hub and the new 113 acre Puerto Rico Convention Center are all just minutes away. And you'll still only be steps from San Juan's most exclusive beach in the shadow of the historic San Geronimo Fort.

World Class Accommodations

The Condado Lagoon Villas at Caribe Hilton boasts a spectacular three-level pool which includes a swim up bar and an infinity edge on the top two levels. The pool area also has a large comfortable sundeck with cushioned lounge chairs and a 200-yard crescent beach with a unique artificial reef. If the pool area isn’t your scene, there will be plenty of palm tree grove shading lounge chairs just steps from the Atlantic. Approximately 300-yards from the beach is a rock shore forming peninsula which the resort utilizes. When you reach the tip of the peninsula, a 100-foot pier provides a stunning panoramic view of San Juan`s metropolitan area.

Historic Charm
The fun of Old San Juan`s historic attractions is just a half-mile away. Exquisite architecture of 16th and 17th century abound Old San Juan Puerto Rico. Small gardens, narrow stone walkways, local shops, and cafes await you in this bustling historic town. Make sure to follow the old city walls towards the northwestern tip of San Juan. The dungeons, mazes, and impressive towers of the historic El Moro Fort sit here overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is plenty to see and do in Old San Juan. There is no wondering why this is Puerto Rico`s number one tourist attraction. You`re headed straight into 16th century island life; one of the Caribbean`s most important cultural landmarks.

Luxurious Amenities
The warm and inviting rooms at The Condado Lagoon Villas at Caribe Hilton have balconies with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms are large and spacious with all the accommodations you would expect from a world-class resort. The one and two bedroom Condado Lagoon Villas are adorned in beautiful Italian marble, Jacuzzi tubs, and fully equipped kitchens with state of the art appliances. I visited PR with my brother and sister as we were celebrating my 50th birthday. Staff was excellent!!! Food at the pool bar was not that good but since there was a Mortons, Asian restaurant, Subway, and Quiznos I found something that I enjoyed. All excursions are a distance away from this hotel so if you are planning to see more of the island, you may want to research the areas before booking at this hotel. Could not find one ice machine in the whole hotel that worked.

AS a Diamond Member you would expect a lot more from the Hilton Brand. Parking is anything but easy, The Comp Breakfast was Pineapple and Watermelon with a few pastries or Cereal. The hotel staff was not helpful or friendly. Just disappointed in this being a Hilton Hotel.

A good location. Close to the airport and the old charming part of the city. This complex is like a small city. It has a few restaurants, a convenience store; we even attended mass on Sunday in the convention centre. Pleasant views of the lagoon. On the down side it is an impersonal place.

Service poolside is terrible. Horrible. Not good. Took forever to get bad drinks and cold food. Don't go here. There are much better places to go. Look at the Coronado. That has better service and pools.

Great trip for an over night stay. The rooms were great and the staff was very nice and helpful. Just as a friendly reminder, there is a fee when you arrive early. However, they do provide storage for your luggage if you decide not to pay the early arrival fee and wait for a room to become ready. Overall the experience was wonderful and I was definitely revisit this hotel again.

After notify to the front desk problems with my door lock, Takes a while (more than 30 min) until the security person shows up to open my room door. During that period i was in the hall out of room. The Condado Villas are far from the main building. The room services take longer and in ocassions you have to request the same service more than one time.

Had a great time in this beautiful location. At first I hated it, because of how far the room was. But then I loved the quietness that came with it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Like Diana Martiniz who took care of room. Silvestre Ramos at Security. But the pool bar staff is awesome, super friendly and welcoming made us feel very comfortable. Thanks William Calderon for your super service.

Condado Lagoon Villas and El Caribe are the same resort, the rooms are just in a different towers of the complex. We booked in CLV because they offer two queen size beds in their rooms, as El Caribe didn't have queen size beds (we are a family of four). They also have kitchenettes in CLV. I'll start with the cons. We booked an ocean-view room, but none were available during our stay, so that was very disappointing. We had some issues with our room, like our A/C didn't work properly the whole t... Read more

Excellent service, clean rooms, and awesome location. Close to Old San Juan and family friendly, this property is a classic gem on the ocean. Spectacular views and a private ocean lagoon makes it ideal for small kids. The pool bar is partly in the pool. The property is expansive and tropical. Grab a Starbucks coffee and relax under the palm trees between the pool and the cool breeze off the Atlantic Ocean.

Service needs improvement, specially at the front desk, they need to be more attentive and acknowledge the guest upon Check in, but check out with Omar was good. We stayed at the Villas Lagoon section which is older and not in the best shape. Rooms were fine, though. Ours faced the courtyard which was super loud, live music, etc. We were just there to get quick access to the airport. The cab dropped us at the main hotel and it cost another $15 to get across the bridge to this section with our bags.

I decided to stay at Caribe during my third visit to San Juan. During my second visit, I stayed in the standard, newly remodeled Caribe room and had a very good experience. We only had a little problem when requesting things did the room, it would take a long time for it to be delivered. Other than that it was an amazing stay! I would like to thank the Front desk team at the Condado villas.

Check in process was super easy. I received a text message after check in that I could of used to ask questions. Location was nice. $20 taxi ride to Old San Juan. Staff was super helpful on tours accommodations. Wasn't too impressed with breakfast options nor price. $60 for buffet for two with very limited options (bacon, waffle, omelette, fruit, sausage and muffins). Beach was nice but sand looked homemade. Cats were everywhere!!! I hate cats!!!! Best bar was in the garden and Angel is the best... Read more

I thought at first, this was going to be a horrible stay. Ticket machine for parking entrance jammed when we were trying to access so we had to wait for entry. Room keys would not work for assigned room so we had to wait for entry. Long story short everything was corrected or fixed and every single person we had contact with were very polite and professional. Special thanks to Jesus at the front desk for making every effort to ensure we would be happy and taken care of from the start of our ... Read more

Visited PR for labor day weekend, my first 4 nights were at the condado plaza, we spent our last night at the condado lagoon villas. The lagoon villas are attached to the Caribe, if I had a choice I would just stay at the caribe. The rooms are very old and outdated and the hallways are long and creepy. To get from the Caribe side to the lagoons side is a very long walk and it smells funny like severe water damage. Once you get back to the Caribe side it is gorgeous. The Caribe side is a little m... Everyone at the Condado Lagoon Villas by Hilton was wonderful. The staff was great, the room was beautiful and had a fantastic views. The amenities offered by the hotel are endless. The hotel is in a safe area that is within walking distance to Old San Juan and Condado, which my fiancé and I walked numerous times. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property.

It is a wannabe Hilton, but everything is broken. I mean everything. The sliding glass door will not close. So when it rains the water comes in. When the wind blows and it blows all the time, the door will whistle. All but one ice machine is working in the whole hotel. The refrigerator just makes noise. It doesn't cool. The shower works, but the bath tub only has hot water coming out of it. The toilet keeps running. There are two sets of elevator. One is out of order. There is a smal... Read more

I really enjoyed this place. This property is located back part of Caribe Hilton. I had room 429 and was there in July 2016. pros: rooms are bigger then caribe hilton has its own check in... if you have ever stayed at this hotel it can get crazy at check in. I've been there when soccer teams are in town. so bypassing the crowds without feeling rushed was a plus after check in rooms are close by self parking is next to the building so it's easier access then from caribe hilton lobby and parking ... So I am a Hilton diamond traveler. I am rather shocked and will complain. I booked with the understanding that I would be overlooking the San Juan rampart with a full ocean view room. What I was not told is that Hilton no longer has access to this particular building. So we had to stay in the building that has a partial/poor view of the ocean. To make matters worse - the hotel only had one operating elevator at the time. This caused long waits as we were on the 10th floor. To be fair - th... Read more

The concierge, Eric, was very helpful. The Tropical Cafeteria offered good food at good prices. The gift shop closet to the front desk was nice. The pool was nice at the Carbie...the one at the villas leaves much to be desired

More than four areas of water stains, tub falling apart, mold, ants, pool a little beat up, and restaurant though tasty not worthy of the extra cost. The people at Starbucks and Quiznos were wonderful. Service at Mortons, Lemon Grass, and the Italian restaurant were very nice and pleasant.

This property was terrible. Room was dated and not cleaned properly. You could see remnants of previous guest trash . Shower door and front door always got jammed. You had to use all your strength to close both doors . Water constantly got on the floor . When I complained to the hote staff they lied and said they were sending someone no one ever came . Multiple nights while I slept loud music from a store kept me up at night . There was no mention loud music would be here all night long . I woul... Read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Caribe Hilton. I had stayed at El Conquistador previously and I liked this resort better. Its location is more convenient and the beach access is easier. It is a beautiful resort.

This stay was just horrible. The hotel is in serious decline. The staff is very sweet and helpful but the mangement fails to provide a strong product. I was responsible for six rooms. There was no hot water or a 5 minute wait for hot water in each room. One guest had room changed twice. They lied about Ocean view. The Villas cost more and are no better or maybe even worse than Towers. TV remotes with out batteries, mildew in bathrooms, excessive mechanical noise, broken handles in bathrooms, ch... Read more

Rooms in Villas are nice but not sound proofed, you will hear outside noise with doors & windows closed as well as traversing a walking maze to get to them. Main hotel is a better location to stay. Also note that breakfast locations are limited for those with early departures, before 7 am.
