This place is so good for my senses. You feel like you transport yourself to other dimension, when time stop and you recharge your mind and body. Yeah, I know I sound like a commercial, but it is the true. You have the beach (private) and also have the mountains, surrounded with vegetation. The service is really good and the food to die for.

We decided to escape San Juan for a night and came here to Isabela. The place made a great first impression. The reception area is lovely and renovated nicely and the grounds are lovely. The rooms themselves leave a bit to be desired. We were first put in a room that felt really isolated and dark- not to mention the bathroom really needed an overhaul. We moved to a new room which was more central and although not renovated there were modifications to make the space much more appealing. Pros: a... Read more

My sister has already said most things that need to be said about this gorgeous hotel. It is a one of a kind experience and somewhere we'll never forget. Amazing staff that make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive, delicious food and the best beach. We had a fabulous family holiday here and will continue to dream of returning one day!

Villa Montaña is located in a peaceful secluded beach in Isabela, PR. Nearby are great restaurants, beaches and entertainment venues. I recommend spending some time at "Villa Pesquera" area. The resort is beautifully set on the beach front with a nice beach set restaurant, The Eclips" The food is fresh and well prepared, nice artisanal pizzas. The prices are a bit high. The accommodation are nice but needs a bit better maintenance. It is pet friendly and the personnel is very attentive.

I stayed here with friends in a 2-bedroom villa over the New Year's weekend. We had a fantastic stay. The beach is great, we had in-room massages as the spa wasn't ready yet and had a delicious dinner New Year's Eve followed by a great beach dance party that was very much a family affair. Would definitely stay again.

This was our first time to Puerto Rico. We stayed here the first four nights and it was wonderful. It is very quiet, tranquil and beautiful. Just what we were looking for to disconnect. Our room was nice and had AC. The property is gated and I felt very safe. The food is excellent but does take a while to get but I figured we were on vacation - so no hurry. It was worth the wait. If sitting at the bar, they were quick, attentive and gave suggestions about exploring the area. We flew into Sa... Read more

After our first amazing stay here we just had to return to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this fantastic place. This time we brought my sister with us and she loved it just as much as us. The whole complex is surrounded by beautiful gardens and greenery and the beach is awesome to just kick back and relax on. We felt so welcome that it felt like our home away from home and a big big thank you to all the amazing staff that do a great job.

My wife and I wanted a retreat by the beach, where we could relax and take our dogs with us. We found that and much more in Villa Montaña Beach Resort. The staff is ultrafriendly, the grounds are beautiful and the tranquility amazing. The resort has an amazing restaurant, Eclipse. It is world class cuisine. They have to improve the wifi accesibility, but everything else is more than you expect. I totally recommend this resort.

We visited the hotel in April and stayed for one night. The area is adorable with bike/running paths alongside the road/ocean from town to the hotel. The grounds are truly 5* resort. The lobby was gorgeous and smelled amazing. The service was terrific. The beach area was perfect for a wedding, and the indoor/outdoor restaurant and private event space were all modern, elegant, and inviting. The food is ok. The rooms are also ok - perhaps we didn't stay in a newly renovated one. It was adequate wi... Read more

Everything was great. The room was great because we had the complete villa. It is great for family vacations or a weekend getaway. They also have extended rentals which would be great for staying there a while.

I was extremely disappointed with the accommodations at the Villa Montana Resort. The room type was "superior queen with garden terrace". The room was not superior unless you consider having to move furniture to open the closet door superior. No seating except the bed. The handle fell off the single dresser with an attempt to open a drawer. The room was not only tiny, but had no luggage rack but a few hangers. One wash cloth, one hand towel, two bath towels....any requests were an hour... Read more

If you stay within the area of San Antonio, there's a beach known as Joyuda where you will see the ocean geyser sprout when the tides come in. It caters to the young crowd where there's nightly entertainments in various eateries during the weekends. Then, there's Crashboat a 1/2 hour drive where the waters are calm, they have pincho trucks, and a place to relax. But for me, I fävor the Barrio. In front of the resort. It offers a snorkel / dive spot starting by the lagoon. My daughter lea... Read more

I'd followed villa Montana's Instagram feed for about a year and all images depicted a serene, beautiful, luxurious property on the north west part of Puerto Rico-Isabella. A part I had never visited on my over 20 trips to the island. The property is superbly maintained, the staff is top notch. I had a one bedroom suite and stayed with my aunt and 2 children. My youngest was intent on having me buy or rent a home on the property for a longer time period. We stayed 3 nights. There was a mini kitc... Read more

Sadly I was given no choice but to leave this review because I have tried to reach the manager of the resort since Saturday 8/20/2016 through 8/22/16 and still have been given the run around to get in contact with him after leaving messages with the staff at the resort. I choose Villa Montana beach resort as my wedding venue 9 months ago hoping to have a easy and great experience because when you reach out to the wedding coordinator she explains there package includes almost everything which was... Wow, how do I start this review? Yhasmina who we emailed the entire 10 months before our wedding was so attentive and informative. She had everything so organized for us and knew exactly what I wanted for the big day. She made this wedding process so easy and stress free! I never thought planning a wedding would be SO much fun! Being a photographer myself I know how the process goes and have seen brides go crazy, but she made me feel so important! We are so thankful for her time, patients, and ... Read more

When we got there is was like a place you wouldn't explect to find at the end of such back roads. It was breathtaking! The villas and the view where what we needed to relax and feel pamper in our island! Our visit started out a little rocky. We had a standard garden room. At check in the staff was very friendly and gave us directions to our room. The cons, It was confusing finding our room. There was no direct path to bring our luggage. The room had a musty smell. We could tell housekeeping sprayed an air freshener after our first night. It helped but it would be better if the air was turned on and room was sprayed before guests arrived. There was only 1 hand towel and wash cloth provided. Ho... Read more

Villa Montanas boasts one of the most private, picturesque, and beautiful beaches in all of Puerto Rico. We recently spent 4 days at the Villa Montana resort. We found this to be a delightful experience. Villa Montana was the perfect getaway for our family while it was cold back home. Having a place to stay so close to the ocean is something to be treasured. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant that was 20 steps from our villa was incredible.
