Stayed at these villas for a week and loved it and will definitely return We went with our 9 month old daughter and they had a childrens pool that she loved Villas have 2 bedrooms with air con, en-suite and good self catering facilities. The decor in mainly the bathrooms is dated but we didn't care and liked the charm of the place As it backs onto a golf course it's nice and quiet and perfect for a young family/couples It's a bit further walk to the Marina, about 25/30mins with a little shortc... This is our first visit to Prada Villas, we knew they were in need of some modernising before we went so was expecting the accommodation to not be 100% perfect. It was rather worn in places but absolutely spotless and they have started to renovate some of the properties to a very high standard. We will definitely be going back next year.

Ok, where do i start. My partner and i arrived at these villas to a warm welcome at reception, when we first walked into the villa we were very pleased, it was massive and extremely clean. Only complaint was one of the bathrooms was a bit smelly. We decided to go for a little walk to find a supermarket for essentials, the nearest shop is around 15-20 min walk away(thats if you can find it! We walked around for ages!!) When we returned we decided to sit around the pool, the pool area is lovely ... Read more

We stayed in Prado Villas from 5th to 14th October, this was our first trip to Portugal and like other reviewers have said, we should have done more research beforehand. The Villa was fabulous, we had booked a one bed but were given a villa with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Everything was very clean, dated maybe but very pleasant and comfortable.Other than the pans only having stainless steel handles (red hot!), we couldn't fault the accommodation, but it is very isolated and a long long w... Fantastic location. Steve the barman was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. The only thing I would suggest is that because it is self catering a cold bottle of water is provided in the fridge upon arrival so you can at least have a drink before you have to go for provisions

Prado villas is a hidden gem of a holiday destination, we've just had the most relaxing and quiet holiday ever, great weather, great villas, great pool, Steve's bar was the most unexpected surprise of all when we arrived, Steve was brilliant, full of knowledge and good advice. He has now also started serving food which is fabulous and can be eaten within the bar or taken back to your villa. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Steve and Darren were great at the bar. Great food and cheap drinks. Only a short Taxi ride away from Marina. Would recommend highly.

We had a fantastic, relaxing holiday with 2 teenagers. Prado Villas were modern, peaceful, very clean and reception were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a modernised villa, which we couldn't be happier with. The swimming pool had plenty of sun beds and shade if needed. There is also a fantastic pool side bar, which serves food all day, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. This meant we could spend a few days relaxing without leaving the villas. Stephen from the bar is a fantastic guy. Kno... Read more

When I booked this holiday for myself and partner plus 2 teenagers aged 14 I did so on the strength of tripadvisors reviews and photo's what we found when we arrived was way above our expectations. We arrived at lunch time Isabel at reception checked us in quickly our villas was very close to the reception no 16,once inside after dropping the cases we had look around the villa we looked at each other and couldn't believe the quality of the villa. There is air-conditioning in the living room and ... Read more

I am a travel agent and would highly recommend the Prado villa complex. Situated next to a golf course, 35 minutes walk from Vilamoura marina and 15 minutes to the nearest Spar supermarket. Villas are air conditioned, clean and spacious with two bathrooms, lovely terrace overlooking either the pools or gardens. Nice bar area serving fresh food all day. Steve works hard whether he's cooking or serving drinks. Plenty of sunbeds around the pools and space for children to play. I would definitely re... Read more

Weather was fab. So warm but always a really nice breeze. Villa was a bit dated but very clean. Nice quiet complex with a large pool and smaller kids pool. Steve at the bar made the holiday for us. He was so helpful and friendly. His food was lovely too. I'd return to see Steve :-)

I spent 7 days here with my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 3. Very relaxing and informal environment. Villa very clean and tidy (would recommend booking the superior villa). We stayed in the superior and having seen the other ones was worth the extra cost. The pool bar was just up and running and A very welcome addition to the resort. Steve runs the bar superbly and offers snacks and meals from breakfast to late evening. Coffee is first class too! Nothing a trouble to him and always hap... Read more

4 of us have just spent 10 days at Prado Villas and enjoyed a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday in lovely surroundings. The rooms in our superior villa were very clean and comfortable. The walk to the supermarket took 15 minutes and to the Marina 25 minutes. We usually took taxis back. On site there are always loungers available. The bistro restaurant run by Steve is excellent. He serves food from 9am to 9pm during the summer months and offers a good menu which he plans to develop further. His ... Read more

This Villa is exactly what you get for the price... tired...yet, quaint. Some of the Villas have been renovated.. and look great. Overall, Its quiet... relaxing... and a great place...for sunbathing and catch up on those books you have tried to read... I can only comment on the Villa I stayed in (7). The bed were like single adult cots.... Great kitchen .. for the self service use. I personally was happy for the price I paid. There were one or two issues... that were not resolved....asap. Low... Stayed here for two weeks in villa 3(this is one of the basic ones). The location is quite remote being 15min walk to the local spar or another 10min to the Inter-marche. Both of these are about the same on price with the inter-marche having a little more selection. The marina is about a 25min stroll. The Villa: it has very good air conditioning and is clean. The kitchen has a microwave oven, fridge, oven with hob, toaster but no kettle.(these are all quite old and it shows). The furniture h... Read more

We recently returned from our first holiday in Portugal staying at Prado Villas. There were 18 villas set in beautiful gardens with a decent pool. Our villa was spacious and spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well equipped. There was even a small utility room containing an ironing board and iron. The upside was that it was very quiet, not even road noise as the complex was right by a golf course. Also the way the villas are arranged means that there is no noise from neighbours. The only ... Excellent prices and very attentive but not over bearing. The villas are set back about 40 minutes walk from the centre of Vilamoura, however, the remote location provides a lovely quiet setting for a relaxing break. On the downside, it is approximately 15 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The villas are spacious but are in desperate need of renovating. They are kept very clean though. The pool area is perfect for relaxing around and the snack bar offers great tasting food and drink at good value. The only issue we had with the staff was they u... Read more

Just back from a weeks holiday staying at the Prada Villas. It was more or less as described by other reviews, we stayed in villa 3 which although a little tired it was clean and comfortable. There is a Spar approx. 15 minutes walk away but it has everything you would need to stock up on. Vilamoura is approx. 25 minutes walk and it is a pleasant walk around the marina and along the beach front to Quarteria (which is a lot cheaper to eat out in).
