Loved our stay here.. A nice little place with great villas and and nice bar and swimming pool. The owners are charming and very likable. The hotel is abit away from the party area so will need a taxi which can be expensive. Overall a great hotel with great facilities.

Okay so I dont usually write reviews and i am a firm believer in you get what you pay for.. However not in this case! Arrived at around midnight to a shut reception with an envelope taped to the door with my name on. Opened the envelope to find a map inside and note saying 'key under the mat' wasn't impressed but thought fair enough it's late! So in the dark we wonder and find our apartment block and room.. However on finding our room we find no key under the mat. A bit confused I then hear vo... Read more

The villas were spacious and roomy and whilst they were a little dated and a bit worn around the edges it was an excellent stay and very clean and tidy. Agree with another visitor as the villa we were in had the view of the caretakers storage and had chairs outside and the hosepipe across the floor the whole week. There was plenty of parking and it was very easy to get into Villamoura with the car and travel around. The pool area was very clean and tidy and the bar area great and the food excell... Read more

The buildings and gardens are an eyesore. The major plus for the complex is the bar and restaurant run by Paula and Baz supported by Steve and Ali. Lovely people who welcome everyone warmly and provide drinks at very affordable prices and offer a varied menu of quality and tasty food, again at very affordable prices.

My daughter and I stayed here for a week. We loved it! Apartments are spacious and well equipped, bathroom with bath and shower over it. Clean and well kept. Pool areas with plenty of loungers and on site restaurant with good choice of meals and drinks. Friendly and helpful staff in reception and restaurant. Bus stop right outside to get to Faro, Lagos, stopping at Albufeira, Quarteira and Vilamoura to name a few. Wifi only available in public areas.

Myself, my partner and 15 year old stayed here for a week. The villa was very spacious and comfortable. Although it boasts free wifi, it's only around reception and dips in and out during the day and non existent after 6pm. Restaurant and bar has nice food and friendly staff.

The apartment was a 2 bedroom. Clean but very dated. The approach to our apartment had no path but stepping stones overgrown with grass. Not a place for the disabled. No hairdryer provided. The air conditioning turned itself off after about half hour and didn't provide much cold air. The electrical cooking equipment was slow. Coffee maker had no filter and leaked. The kettle did not have a cut out switch so you had to pull the plug out once it was boiled. Plenty of plates but only 2 very small c... Read more

Had a fab week at this place. Real handy for the old golf course which I played 5 times. Really friendly and very helpful. Love the crispy chicken wings and the fish and chips are to die for. The rooms are spacious and clean inside. Only criticism is the place could do with a paint.

We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Appartment (Block F4) for a week in July for 2 people and had read mixed reviews about the complex prior to booking but decided it would be suitable at least as a base for exploring Vilamoura. first of all the good points.... The Air conditioning was fantastic with individual units in each of the main rooms. The appartment was very spacious The complex is very close to the bus stop The complex is very quiet (if thats what you are looking for) The drinks and the food ser... Read more

This was a disappointing holiday, we booked a villa but could not take it because of the pathway and many steps, as my husband is disabled it was impossible for him so had to take an old apartment on ground level, even going to the pool area was a chore as yet again more steps, nothing there apart from the pool for the children had to take them out every day by taxi because the bus service was terrrible, everyone there did their best to help us, but will not return.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and everyone had such a lovely time. Staff and receptionist was extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and air conditioning was impeccable. 5 minute walk to a local shop which speak very good English. Bathroom could do with some updating but apart from that everything was up to standard. Very quiet and relaxing by the pool and our by our villa (E2 I think). Views were amazing and so was the towns that were nearby - Marina, Vilamoura, Queatira. Worth the stay... Read more

Absolutely awful Arrived just before 8-00pm No one around Note on Reception door, with map to bungalow (key under mat) FORTY ONE steps and awful path to a very dated and mediocre bungalow. (Further FIFTEEN steps to the pool) No Bistro for evening meal or breakfast After dark ABSOLUTELY treacherous up or down to the entrance as very poor lighting and hole in the road No provisions of any kind available We complained to Jet 2 on arrival and changed to a roper hotel the next day THE OWNER ... Hotel room as very spacious and clean, kitchen had everything you needed, furniture is a bit dated and the beds are awful, the tv should be in a museum not a living room, bathroom was lovely, clean and big, balcony was a good size and clean, towels and toilet rolls available daily if needed. The reception area opens about 9ish and closes about 6ish it also closes for about two hours daily between 12/2 or 1/3 it ranges, the wifi will only work around the pool area if you stand on the back of a ch... We are on holiday here. As said before NOT suitable for disabled. Could do with complete make over as very drab and dated. Our safe was fixed to wall at FLOOR level so you have to limbo to use the safe. If you have not transport you have to rely on taxies or buses. TIP buy cigarettes and booze at airport as shops expensive. Cigs about 47 euros per 200. The spar shop or large supermarket near marina does not sell tobacco. Recommend eating at Paula and Baz as food delicious

Service is terrible, wifi only works in a tiny area beside the pool, everyone squeezes in there to try and get signal. After 6 the wifi turns off. Breakfast only starts at 11, which is almost lunchtime, and the food isn't particularly nice. There is a bus stop right in front but the buses are very infrequent. When you ask for a taxi in the hotel they have their own drivers which are extremely overpriced. The hot water is limited. We had to wait awhile for the water to heat up. You can get better... Had a quick week away in August and wanted to keep the costs down so we stayed here. Yep, the villa / apartments are old. Yep, it's a few euro's in a taxi down to the Marina. Yep, reading the blurb given at check in would make you think it's The Purge. (It's nothing of the sort). Yep this and Yep that. Very simple accommodation. A absolutely fantastic pool which does not crowded. Indeed sometime it would be deemed sparse. Finally there's Paula & Baz's Pool Bar which served cheap food and drink s... Read more
