The Hotel is perfectly situated for everything in Vilamoura , if you want to travel to Albufeira and Faro there is a bus stop right outside the hotel , the hotel is made to look old fashioned in its decor , the staff are all well mannered , the only thing wrong with the hotel was the evening meals , there were only two choices either fish or meat and occasionally pasta , my family just looked at the menu and they decided it was not for them , so we had to eat out at nighttime usually down in the... Very familiar with this preferred hotel. Most public facing staff have been there for some time and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. As a single traveller on this occasion, I was delighted to get a large double bed in my room on the 4th floor. Large TV screens have been added to the rooms since my last visit in 2015. I hope to visit again in the autumn this year.

I booked this hotel last October on the strength of the positive reviews but I wish I had waited, as the most recent reviews seem to be more accurate. The hotel is in a very good location, only a short walk from the Marina but it is very tired looking. The room, although clean was slightly scruffy and in need of a refurb - the toilet seat was broken and the underside of it looked as though it was made of cardboard, which was disintegrating. Not only was this very unhygenic but it could easily ha... Read more

Paid for and had a spacious room with marina and partial seaview with small balcony. Location is good. As this is a resort hotel, breakfast spread was generous. However, being used to hotels in Asia and for the same rate, essential item like hair conditioner is not provided. It is ridiculous that a safe is provided in your room but you need to pay to use it.

Hotel staff make this worth a visit, they are all fantastic from reception to bar staff and waiters. The food is limited if you are hald board one meat, one fish and one pasta choice every day. The food quality was very good and I enjoyed the meals The hotel is very clean although could do with a bit of a refurb. Its in a great location for the marina.

Dom Pedro Marina is the most perfect location for a holiday in Vilamoura. It is right across the road from both the beach and the famous marina. It is a comfortable hotel, though not luxurious. The main problem I had was that although they have wifi at the hotel, it did not appear on my iphone 5s and on enquiring I was told the wifi does not work on Apple phones.!! Staff were lovely, room cleaning was'nt great, we did'nt eat dinner here as there were too many restaurants to check out. Overall... Read more

We had a junior suite with a great view towards the sea and the marina. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The pool is attractive and never crowded - no problems over access to sunloungers. Breakfasts were excellent - whatever type of breakfast you wanted was available and of good quality - unlimited, excellent coffee. We had lunch in the hotel most days and dinner a couple of times. The meals were fine and reasonably priced. Biggest plus was the staff - really friendly and help... Read more

We stayed here for a week in June and were part of a family group staying in 3 separate rooms on floors 2, 4 and 7. All rooms were clean with air-con, no tea making though, 2 of the rooms were junior suites which I would recommend as even for a couple you have an extra room to sit in, which has a table and chairs as well as the bed settee. We stayed bed and breakfast and were pleased that we did as while most of the breakfast was good the cooked food was not. Bar food was good and cheap and the ... Read more

Stayed here for the last two days of our holiday. Nice easy check in by Luis at midday. Suitcases brought up to our room for us. Nice room with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Daily maid service was nice, The hot & cold buffet breakfast was superb as it supplied a full english breakfast which was different on both days. The swimming pool was lovely with free use of the sunbeds. Located virtually on the marina the location was brilliant. All in all a great way to end our holiday.

Not too expensive, good size rooms and a very nice pool area. Right by the Marina with loads of bars and restaurants. A brilliant location. Book B&B as the number of good eating places makes half or full board a waste of money. Make sue you do not book cracking of dawn tee times as the hotels 'sandwich' breakfast is awful.

I travelled with 5 friends for my 50th birthday weekend on the 24th June. The hotel is nice, not luxurious in any way, but the rooms are clean and basic and shower good. Nice view of the sea when you are high up (ask for the 7th floor for this) and relatively quiet. There are golfers but no real noise from them. Just back from Dom Pedro Marina. The best bit about this hotel is its location to both the beach and Marina. We had never been to Vilamoura before, and it certainly won't be our last. It's a great place with lots of bars and restaurants. We had a nice room with views over the Marina area. Our room was fairly big, clean, and functional. The room were again very clean but the (essential) mirror behind the dressing had been replaced by a very bad quality reception TV . No plugs near enough to a mirror for drying hair .The bathroom hair dryer quite inefficient. Last year the food was very good, this year ,not quite so good.
