Spent four nights at this hotel and can highly recommend it. Brilliant location - right in the heart of the action. Staff were excellent, and the breakfast was superb - we couldn't wait to get up each morning! The room was more or less as you'd expect for 4-star hotel, and the WiFi is free with great connectivity. The only reasons we stopped short of giving this place five stars were that the room was quite small and we also had an issue upon arrival where we had to be shown to three different r... Read more

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel but the main attraction is its proximity to old town. When we pay 200 euros per night we expect much better quality of beds, TV, toiletries etc... My experience at breakfast was mediocre both in terms of food choices and level of service. The ladies seemed always chitchatting amongst themselves and sometimes disappear for 10 minutes. Will I stay here again, maybe if the room was 120 euros

The hotel is situated near Placa du Comercio and offers walking distance to each part of old city. The staff is professional and friendly. WiFi is free and reliable. Within 10 min. walk there is underground parking with relatively acceptable price per day. The only small disadvantage is that nearest old buildings are in restoration/reconstruction mood, but even that it is not too nosy or dusty. A bit overpriced during end of the week - focused on tourist flow.

The hotel has a perfect location - just nearby to Praca do Comercio and very close to the old city, Alfama. The famous Santa Justa lift is just 8mins walk. I had a birthday during our stay at the hotel and I had a surprise from the staff - when we returned from a walk at the afternoon we saw a bottle of champagne and a chocolate cake at the room! It was so nice! Thank you very much to the hotel management!

Enjoyed our three day two night stay here. All staff at checkin counter no matter what time of day were most helpful and spoke excellent English. Not a deal breaker if the staff does not speak English well but my Portugese es no bueno. Good size room all clean and upscale. Good selection of items at breakfast buffet in the morning. Good location to walk to many places, restaurants, some with great fado performances.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms! The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to many sights and restaurants. The front desk was friendly and the check-in and check-out was smooth. A major plus to note is that the front desk will gladly call you a cab if you need one and arrives shortly thereafter!

Fantastically fast internet if that is important to folk! In a great location with good access to lots of restaurants and shopping. The hotel is really quiet. Rooms are on the small side but live up to the 4* claimed and beds are comfortable. TV could be bigger but with the internet being so fast, who cares!

We (3 adult couples) stayed here for 4 nights. Let me start by saying that the location was really great, but the hotel is quite dated and could use some updating. We stayed at the Vincci Porto which was much, much nicer and therefore chose to stay at the VIncci in Baixa, but we were quite disappointed when we got there. The rooms are quite small (you have about 1 foot of space between the wall and the bed). The bathroom is small and dated. We had a room with a shower (which i prefer to a ba... Read more

The hotel is very well located - 2 blocks from the main square on the waterfront and only 2 or 3 blocks from the various shopping/dining districts in the old town of Lisbon. We had two adjoining rooms (considered a family room). The rooms were comfortable and clean, though the air conditioning struggled (rather loudly) to maintain a somewhat comfortable room temperature. The rooms are rather "tight" on space and contain several wall mirrors in an attempt, it seems, to make the room appear big... Read more

Minuses are that it is in the heart of the old part of town so the area is well worn - it is obvious when we arrived from spain that portugal is even poorer. The climate control did not work properly, adjusting the temperature had no effect and the moisture was not regulated at all, so in effect we were cold every night and felt like in a swamp in the morning. The room also seemed like it didnt have a thorough cleaning in years, just superficial swipeing. Also, very hard, uncomfortable bed.
