Tiny rooms but modern. Best thing are friendly bartenders for your night cap. Try the local almond liquor Portugese style with lemon peel to cut the sweet. Great pub out the back door, serves local dishes. Main Street but cab ride to historic areas

Stayed for three nights earlier this week - small rooms, poorly laid out and very limited storage. Our bathroom smelt of damp and drains. It was a trek to get to the front entry. Building work adjacent to our room started at 7.15am and finished at 6.30pm.Our room wasn't serviced during our stay. Breakfast was chaotic and the standard of food was mediocre; orange juice was highly sweetened cordial and coffee undrinkable. Not good at all!!

First the good. Fairly decent location. walkable distance to most of the main sights. Clean, modern rooms that are a bit larger than many European hotels. Great breakfast room with one of the better food from our 3 week trip. Staff was helpful and answered any questions we had. The bad. Our room was hot! Called the front desk and was told the system was broken (seemed to be pumping in heat and the thermostat was not working nor could it be turned off) and that the hotel was waiting for parts. No... We stayed in this hotel three nights during our trip around Portugal with Trafalgar. The hotel is modern, well-located, very clean. The breakfast was very good - lots of choices, good service. Both rooms we stayed were very clean, quiet, with A/C and kettle plus cups and a bit of tea and coffee. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Located very close to the Pombal statue, it has a nice surrounding. Rooms are typical European, i.e. small. Rooms are primarily with one medium size bed for 2 people. Bathroom is somewhat bigger than other hotels in this area. It has no gym. Wifi is barely working - takes a long time to connect and has low bandwidth. Elevators are extremely slow and can only fit about 4 people at a time. Staff is reasonably friendly. Breakfast, though included is quite limited on choices of food. We were with a ... Read more

I would never stay at this hotel again, and definitely do not recommend it if you are visiting Lisbon. The hotel looks fine from the lobby, and the rooms are also fine. But customer service is poor and uncaring. Our travel agent had reconfirmed our twin room the day before but when we arrived a polite but unhelpful clerk (Luis) told us we had not booked a twin and would have to take a double. I persisted, and another person at the front desk (Antonios Ghali) was able to book us into a twin. ... Read more

We stayed here firstly with a tour group and extended our stay largely because we did not want to waste time changing hotels. It seems priority is given to tour groups at this hotel. On two occasions after the tour we returned to our room around 5pm only to find it had not been serviced. Not good after spending all day visiting the city and being tired!. They also seem to have a problem with towels. On one occasion we received towels which were tattered on the edges and one even had a 2 cm hole ... Read more

I left some things during my stay and when I came back home I had no hope to get them back. But surprisingly - they send me things back. So for this reason my rating is so high. Other things: rooms and localization are very good. Breakfast is also good but they should provide better coffee and juices.

We stayed 3 nights reserved by a tour group company, thus our room was situated on the floors dedicated to groups which is the norm in Europe. As the title implies it is well worn in some of the public areas and the room 210 is in need of a good cleaning. Our side had no carpet in the bed area, but the rooms not tour dedicated have it, as well as 4-5 extra feet in length so a comfy chair fits in. A refrigerator is in every room. The bathrooms are small but appointed nicely with just one sink. ... Read more
