We stayed for a weekend in late September. Rooms were clean and modern, staff very nice and speak excellent English. The hotel is approximately a 20 minute walk to the Centre of Lisbon so be prepared to walk or catch a bus or the metro to get around. Breakfast is a buffet which was fine although restaurant staff quite slow to

Booked this on the day we checked in after spending a terrible first night in a hostel. We got it at a very reasonable price 40/night for the room including breakfast. When we first arrived it was like heaven compared to the hostel we had stayed in. Check in took very long. We were early so the lady asked us if we could wait for 10 mins whilst they finished our room. 90 minutes and 2 mojitos later we were still sitting in the bar. The room was ready they just didn't inform us! Room was nice enou... Read more

To conclude our stay in a short description: very nice and friendly staff like Daniel from the F&B at the bar and Bernardo from the reception desk, they do everything to make sure that you will have a nice stay. However, the first night, we had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. I had a beef tartare which was really nice but both of our main courses were not excellent. I had canneloni with meat which had an awful taste and the presentation and smell wasn't great. Our room was always very cle... Read more

Located a little out from the city centre but near the Anjos metro station. Modern hotel with all facilities expected from a 4 star hotel. the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially Ricardo at reception. Highly recommended and I will be using this hotel again in a few months when back in Lisbon

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. The services provided are basic but the room is clean with a good bathroom. The service at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The location is just a bit too far from downtown to walk. Breakfast is also quite basic but okay.

They are honestly not a four star hotel. The room feels like prison. The food at breakfast was horrible. Yes they did screw me on a refund that they promised to give me while I was there (and was very sweet about which now I am not sure if the gentleman was being insincere or not) when i got back to the states they said no. But the reason I even wanted one was because the accommodations were NOTHING like their website and I ended up leaving and switching hotels as a result and now I am out $800... Read more

Both my wife and i have just returned from this lovely hotel. It was first called TSAR and has now changed to CZAR and under new management. All the issues pasts guests have had have been addressed. Go there and try it! Well done to everyone who works there and especially the reception staff Elsa, Ana & Ricardo who are simply the best. Good location, near metro stops and downtown is only 10-15 minutes away. We will certainly go there on our next visit without hesitation.
