Great location in Baixa with easy access to Chiado and Alfama. Great service from all staff, whether in reception, bar or restaurant. One complaint we had with the meal we had there was dealt with very efficiently and without fuss. I was given a free upgrade to my room so I could be on the same floor to my elderly parents. We enjoyed the free minibar. I liked the designs of the rooms although my parents felt it was a bit too dark. I would most certainly go back again.

The Beautique Hotels Figueira is ideally located for doing all of the touristy things in Lisbon. You can walk to most of the things in the old part of the city, a metro line is a few blocks away, and many bus and tram lines have stops literally across the street (including some going to Belem). The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided a city map and recommendations for sites, and were very willing to make reservations for us. The room was quite large, very modern, and very comf... Read more

OK I understand what boutique is, but in an attempt to do something different they have actually made the simple things rather difficult. Whilst everything is new, modern and artistic, it is dark, pokey and things like using the luft, turning on lights, opening curtains and using the bathroom are unnecessarily complicated. Quite an agitating experience and difficult to relax.

Location is great for walking around the central area ; Overlooking the Figueira Square , it has action the whole time ; the trams have stops outside the front door ; breakfast were good ; able to open the windows for fresh air ; the lighting could be improved + better bathroom space , but this is minor compared to the positives; mini bar was free

The service is great ! Very friendly! Location is perfect, close to everything by foot. The rooms are very spacious, eco friendly. If i could criticize something it would be the rooms lightning (a bit dark). Very clean ! Checkout was quite flexible. There is free drinks in the mini bar, coffee and tea. Free wifi ! Very very good but expensive.

Booked this hotel based on reviews & location. The hotel is as central as you can get, overlooking the square. When I was shown my room I was immediately worried about noise as my room was on the first floor & on the front of the building & overlooking the tram stop. However, due to clever design, the room was completely silent at night & I had the best few nights sleep I have had in a long time. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate for what you need and standards were high. A great sta... Read more

The theme of this hotel is figs! Wall designs, carpets, bowls, and wash basins were all based on figs. The décor is very dark but the lighting was very good and we had no problems with reading or applying makeup. We had a second floor room at the side of the hotel. It was very quiet but had no view. The room was a reasonable size and yes, there are lots of mirrors. The bed was huge and very comfortable and we had a full bath tub which we had asked for. There was a free minibar with soft ... Great Location, couldn't be better, we had a room overlooking the square on the 2nd floor. Didn't find it dark at all however we did have windows on 2 sides so maybe it would have been if it wasn't for that. Mini bar free however I would have preferred a payable one as 1 beer isn't enough for 2 people. Would deffinatly have preferred a kettle but I'm really being picky now. Opted for room only which we are pleased at as lovely places only a few steps away. Staff very nice gave us lots of informa... Read more

We recently spent a few nights at the Beautique Hotels Figueira property and enjoyed our time at this modern, boutique style hotel situated in an excellent area of the city. Reservation was made via, payment taken prior to arrival. Check-in was timely and we were allowed into our room early. Luggage storage is also available for those who need. Front desk staff were professional, friendly and eager to assist. Hotel location is directly on Praca da Figueira with access from the s... Read more

The hotel was very nice, modern and clean with comfortable beds. Great location. Metro and trams right ouside your door!...but big problem with the showers. I don't know who built them (but he should be taken to task) but no matter how careful you were, the water kept seeping out into the bathroom and out of the bathroom into the rug outside the door. The problem is the shower only has a 1/4 to 1/2 inch lip and the curtain they put around it does not contain the water.. We did not nave a nice experience in this hotel at all. Rooms are small and lightning Isn't sufficient. Ventilation in bathroom didnt Work and everything Gets wet and steamed up. Too dark to apply your make up. The neighbours were shouting, not the hotels fault but the room wasnt sound proof at All. We Had to tell them to stop it. On arrival the room wasnt clean, floor was dirty, hair everyhere, dusty and fingers on the glass, when we asked them to clean , they only hoovered. They did not clean ... Read more

We had a lovely two-night stay (Friday & Saturday) in this slightly quirky, modern hotel on the Praca de Figueira. The hotel is decorated throughout in a sculptural, curvaceous style, most noticeably in the bar area. Our room (double room with Queen bed) was not huge and the layout was a bit awkward, but was sufficient and comfortable. Despite the location, there was very little street noise. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurants they recommended were excellent. The hotel... Read more

Positives: The location is super-convenient for transportation and for most places a tourist wants to go. The staff are really excellent, and visually, the interior of the hotel is very nice. Negatives: Depending on what country you come from and what king of plug you have on your laptop, or what adapters you might have, the electrical outlets that are sunk into the desk may no be accessible, as they were not for me with a typical North America/Japan plug and adapter, which meant that I h... The hotel is situated on one of the top places in Lissabon. Very close to almost everything, you can easily plan your day. The tram also stops just in front of the main door. The rooms are nice, everythin you'll need, when visiting a city. Breakfast could be improved by serving good coffee and fresh orange juice

The hotel was very comfortable and nice. Everything was very modern, clean, and visually pleasing. Some of the other reviews said that it was loud, but I found it to be very quiet and the blackout curtains blocked the sun and allowed me to sleep in late. The location is amazing. It is central to everything you might want to do to enjoy Lisbon. The breakfast was really nice and had a good selection, but it is a bit pricey though at ?15 (I thought it was included and didn't realize the price unt... Read more

I wrote in advance to let them know it was my birthday and they gave me a suit with a nice view. The minibar is free. The bar and restaurant of the hotel are great, good food and drinks. Thought this hotel was great. It's centrally located in Rossio and is surrounded by plazas, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing attractions and across the street is a square where many of the taxis, tuk tuks, and sightseeing buses are located. There also a tram stop right outside the door. The hotel staff was friendly, attentive, and communicative. We stayed here as a couple for 3 days in October 2015. On first impressions, the hotel was beautiful. I loved the fig leaf décor and the entrance to the hotel was so beautiful. The hotel room was on the 4th floor and though actually quite small, looked very spacious and had all the facilities needed. The space was well manipulated to look bigger with the beautiful mirrored and lights under the bed! It was a very beautiful room in general. There was also free wifi which was useful. We didn't ... Coffee and beverages are included in your room fee. Recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore Lisbon by foot (or by tuk tuk) and likes great friendly service with a few extras.

When walking into the hotel we were excited by the modern design with a cool looking bar and decor. There was a faint but unpleasant odour in the common areas throughout our five night stay. Our room was on the corner facing the plaza and at first sight was very impressive. However, there was a wooden plinth that surrounded the king size bed which meant access was from one side only and blocked off access to both small balconies. The bathroom was tiny and the shower flooded the floor. The room w... Read more

We stayed for 4 nights in late June. The location is fantastic, on one of the main squares with taxi rank and tram stops just outside, and a metro station opposite. Across the square on the right is a fresh food market which we found useful for fruit, bottled water, etc. The hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself suffers from style over substance. The bathroom had dark green glass walls - girls might want to take an LED torch to help with make-up! - and a glass... Read more

We were staying outside of Lisbon and had travelled in for the night but finding the hotel couldn't have been easier. Visited the Beautique Hotel Figueira at the end of June 2016. The hotel is located on a square in the centre of Lisbon. You walk through a bar to find a desk which is the hotel reception. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable receptionist who gave us a map and noted points of interest and gave us restaurant recommendations. We booked one night, meant to book two. Hotel was full, concierge indicated they had two or three other hotels nearby. He volunteered to call them and get us availability and rates. He never called. Free WiFi was spotty. There was a beautiful window seat in the room, but when I opened the curtain and sat down to read I noticed it was quite dusty and there were two dead flies on the sill. Cute boutique hotel, friendly staff, decent bar and excellent location. Room décor is eclectic but everything was super clean and comfortable. This is exactly the sort of hotel that I like to discover for city escapes - reasonably priced, clean and comfortable, well located but without a ton of extra amenities that I never use. I think there may be a spa attached but we never used it.
