Stayed here during our city trip to Lisbon and we were not disappointed: nice room (bit small..we did not get an upgrade...but comfortable and clean...and all of the mirrors make it look bigger). The location is superb: all relevant tourist trams literally stopped before our door...and since this was the start of the lines, there's always an empty seat available. Great restaurants around (also the Figus restaurant was nice!). Only (minor) issue was the sauna: you have to pay extra for using it (... Read more

Odd hotel. Some very weird design choices have been made. A lot of style over functionality eg. a digital weighing scales in the bathroom (which wasn't working because battery was flat) but no alarm clock in the bedroom, the thermostat wasn't working which made it uncomfortably hot, the lock on the inside of the door was broken. There was an espresso machine (in a very inaccessible location and impossible to fill with water without making a mess), however there was no kettle to make tea. The bat... Read more

Great location -- very central for tourism, restaurants -- and great breakfast buffet. We had a debate in our family about what to call the lobby decor theme. My preferred description is "modern basalt lava cave", which is quite different from the more classical exterior. The room was small and somewhat strangely organized: the bed was sideways against a large mirror; items I would normally put on a side table had to go on the desk behind the pillows. But it was comfortable and reasonably quiet ... Read more

Love this hotel, especially the spa, concierge very helpful, good recommendations for dining and sites in the city, excellent staff all around, from the bar, to the concierge, to the wait staff everyone very friendly, helpful, if I were to return I would want to stay here again. Spa service was up to par with my favorite spa Banyan Tree in Bangkok, this is the second best spa I have ever been to, definitely worth booking an appointment and even if you do not stay here, book an appointment with ... Really good service on the lobby. A good and big bed full of pillows but what a small room. Honestly, it was quite sad due the small place. And the bathroom was also small. The location is amazing and very close to real good restaurants.

The hotel is of a great standard and staff are very helpful and friendly. Arriving early we dropped our bags before check in and where given maps, an explaination of where was worth a visit and local knowledge, tram numbers etc and where to catch them (didn't even need to even ask) The rooms and hotel interior is a little dark, but that is part of the theme. The quality of all the fixtures was great, everything worked as expected and the extra touches were great. Like the free mini fridge items... Read more

I recommend this hotel in the centre of Lisbon: cosy, clean, worthy the price. The staff is friendly, the restaurant "Figus" offers high quality Mediterranean/ Portuguese cuisine at a reasonable price. The environment is stylish. I would definitely go back there.

Our first visit to Lisbon and this hotel is in an ideal location. Trams and taxis outside couldn't be easier to get about. Professional, helpful and polite staff really went the extra mile. We stayed for 2 nights on the 4th floor and on arrival were unexpectedly upgraded to a room with a little balcony facing Figueira Square. Room was warm, cosy and a very comfortable bed. Very quiet and no noise at night at all. Electric blinds and curtains, all very IT! Difficult to find words to describe t... Read more

A great boutique hotel in the heart of Lisbon, in front of the departure of every public transport to visit the city, close to good restaurants, elegantly furnished rooms, very helpful reception staff

hotel very central & easy to find, very dark décor throughout also too many mirrors which was a bit alarming first thing in the morning, air conditioning didn't work couldn't keep windows open as overlooking noisy square, was soulless.
