The hotel is located some 20 minute walk from Rossio, a central city square. There is also a nearby metro station, which is great. The neighborhood itself has many small businesses and cafes. The population in the streets is mixed. It's probably not very safe for a woman to walk around there at night. The hotel occupies floors 6 & 7 of an office building. Rooms are basic, not large, but functional. The place is clean and housekeeping does a good job. My room had a balcony facing the main aven... Read more

Rooms are renovated, very clean. Quite comfortable accommodation. It would be nice to have a reading lamp on the night table. Staff polite and helpful in giving suggestions about transport. Possibility to leave the luggage after check out. Located in a busy main road, can be a bit noisy until late night, but still acceptable. Twenty minute walk downhill to the centre (Rossio square). On the way back better take the subway, three or four stops only, 1.40 euros. Good value for money. I would be ba... Read more

We stayed here in November, it was easy to find and well located close to the metro station. No problem with the area around it and there were a number of shops, bars and cafes close by. The room was a good size but fairly basic, we actually got a triple room despite booking a double. The room had a balcony with a view down to the river and across the city. We could hear the lift being used but it wasnt so bad to keep us awake.

This time we booked just a room. No breakfast and no lunch or dinner will be included this time. We are going to take care of these meals ourselves. We get out at the Arroios station and walk to the hotel that is only a few minutes away. The lobby of the hotel Residencial Paradouro, located at the Avenida Almirante Reis, is on the seventh floor. There is a small elevator available in the building. Air-conditioned rooms have a small private balcony with a view across the city. The rooms offer pr... Read more

Stayed here for a week with 2 family members. This is the second time I have stayed here. 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Nice and clean. Very reasonably priced. Cheaper to do over the phone rather Internet. The bathroom was very squishy but bearable. The aircon was good but didn't flow well into the second room area. Wish we had a mini fridge and iron. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice location to Metro line, or short stroll down hill to Centro Staff very nice and good English A/c works a treat and ability to darken out the room and freeze the room had me sleep soundly , no noise , in 30°c days in July. I would stay again for the money Not high class place but it's ok for the solo person or couple on budget.

This hotel is located on 6th and 7th floors of the building, 3 minutes to Arroios metro station. Reception desk is on the top floor, and the elevators are very tiny. It is the first - rather strange - impression. But the later, the better. The staff is very nice and helpful. Their advices helped us to spend a lovely week in Lisbon. The room was rather small, but very clean, with free WiFi and AC. There was a tiny balcony as well. It was quiet inside, but the street noise was a bit annoying. The... Read more

Budget stay which was good enough. There was a.c., a balcony, no fridge though and enough space for all of us. Paradouro also has a convenient location, being close to a tube station. You should pay 15-17 euro only from the airport and back to here. The staff were also very friendly and the receptionist had a beautiful smile. The only downside is that there is no wifi in the rooms although there is a comfortable public area from which to go online. Recommended for a budget stay.

Even though the neighborhood is not that nice, it works if you are on a student budget. The elevator is very small...just enough for 2 people. Staff is very friendly (speak Portuguese, Spanish and English). Bed was small.

The worst hotel I've ever experienced. First, the wifi totally couldn't been used in our room for three days. The reception didn't let us to change a room and said if you really need wifi, just come to the reception to use. Then, the hotel asked us to leave the key in the reception every time we went outside. However, they didn't even check the identity of people who collected the key. That's ridiculous and dangerous! Also, the power suddenly went off at one night when we were in the room, the ... Read more

Had room 604 which had a small balcony. Great access to lift. Reception on 7th floor. Cafe and supermarkets around the corner. Great access to taxis and close to Metro. Would stay again. Small but that is what you expect.

Residencial O Paradouro is located a 25 mins walk or 10 mins on the metro from the main tourist attractions, or 25 mins from the Airport on the metro. It is located on the 6th and 7th floor, reachable by two small lifts. The reception on the 7th makes a very inviting and traditional impression, providing support and tips on what to do in Lisbon. My single room was old-fasioned like the whole hotel and it can need some renovation at some points. There was even a small balcony, pointing at the m... Read more

Quirky hotel where you have to get out at the 7th floor for reception! Room was a bit tired, old furniture, air conditioning worked fine. Shower was ok.The staff were helpful and polite, the towels were changed regularly. All in all a pleasant enough experience. I would consider staying there again if visiting Lisbon.
