This hotel is conveniently located within 10 minutes taxi ride from the airport. The hotel is in a nice district next to a big shopping centre that is open until late. The room was very clean although its dark colours made the it a bit dull. This said, the bathroom was functional and modern, the bed comfortable, and the only thing that I was really missing were the ironing facilities in the room. The service at the breakfast as well as at the reception was friendly and efficient. The breakfas... Read more

This is a solid business hotel well located if you are attending the Meo arena or anything else in this area. Good food and caters well to the needs of business people - I would question it as being suited to families. One thing we found was while everything was homogenous the lack of milk for your coffee was unusual!

This hotel is very close to the Oriente Train Station (quite a ways from "downtown") and did not disappoint from that point of view. We just happened to be trying to check in on a day when they were filming a car commercial on the road directly in-front of the hotel, so it was sporadically closed to other traffic - making it almost impossible to stop and unpack suitcases. In the end we managed to off-load our cases and the bellman was most kind helping us to negotiate this; he was also helpful w... Read more

Mainly a business hotel, centrally located in the Expo 98 area and very close from the Oriente train station and to the river Tague. Rooms are big enough, service is OK and breakfast is decent. Adding on top of this cheap prices for a 4* hotel. I would strongly recommend it.

Booked this hotel for 2 nights as it was close to the MEO arena (5/10 mins walk) where we had tickets to Adele. We were really please with the hotel, large quiet bedroom, good breakfast included and the location was great. Location is good, with a direct metro link to and from the Airport with only a couple of minute walk from Oriente metro station. Old Town Lisbon is easily accessed from the same station. 5 minute walk from the hotel to the river front where there are plenty of restaurants ba... Read more

Wonderful hotel, ideal for this lively part of Lisbon and a short taxi ride to the old town. We were fortunate to get and upgrade which certainly helps! Friendly helpful staff and pleasant decor. Underground car park at an exceptionally low cost for a capital city. Would not hesitate to return. If you are going to a concert at the Meo Areana this is an ideal choice.

My wife and I stayed here during the European Triathlon championships. The hotel is near the Oriente metro station, with good links to the airport and city. There are plenty of places to eat in the nearby shopping centre or on the river front. The hotel is clean and services are efficient (apart from occasional problems with wifi).

This is a very good Business hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights. Very close to Oriente Station from where you can also get metro into the city. My conf was in the Marina so this location was perfect and walking distance. Room was clean, Temp was perfect, breakfast was good. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks in April for a business trip. I have to say the hotel is very nice, great location very close to the subway/train station and next to a good mall. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very nice. My luggage was delayed for one day and it was raining heavily and I didn't have an umbrella so the lady at the front desk offered my hers until I buy one! From Oriente Station I could easily reach the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and bright, with a nice and modern decor. We spent three nights here and we're very disappointed in what we anticipated would be a high-end hotel. We found most of the staff to be aloof and not at all anxious to please. We spent several hours with no water service, requiring us to go out to dinner I showered. We had to have our room card "remagnetized" four times. The desk clerk finally gave us extra cards. No explanation - and we were extremely careful to keep the card in a spot away from all devices and cards. The water temperature in... Read more

Stayed three nights. My room was very pleasant and bed comfortable. Somewhat noicy aircon. Breakfast offered quite a good selection. Would have liked a more environment friendly profile, such as offer to re-use towels and no need to give me new tube of showergel each day when plenty left in the first one. Location convenient for my purpose (business), but not for exploring Lisbon. Too far out of city centre.

This is a fairly un-exciting hotel but in a good location to the airport or the trendy Lisbon area Oriente. Staff is friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and acceptably comfortable. The mattress could be a bit better for a four star hotel. The location is excellent if you intend is to get to quickly to the airport. You do have public transport into their story city centre is well and in walking distance is one of the bigger shopping centres. There is one thing that needs to improve: The breakfast... Read more

We book this hotel based on online reviews, price and pictures. At arrival we got upgraded to a suite, even tough we got a standard room, but we were so disappointed!!!!! This doesn't feel at all like a 4 stars hotel, but a 3 stars. There were stains in the carpet, the room was slightly smelly and the windows were dirty in the outside. It looks like our room needed a refurbishment overall. The wallpaper/deco was a bit dated too... Breakfast was ok. We were expecting worse after seeing the room. ... Read more

We chose this hotel because we were spending a night between flights and it is close to the airport. There is no airport shuttle to the hotel, but a taxi ride is ~ 10 Euros to the airport. Rooms are OK, very clean, reasonable bed. Desk staff was inefficient (did not order taxis we requested the night before) and when we were there only one elevator was working resulting in 30 min (!) waits for the elevator. We ended up finding the service elevator in order not to miss our flight.

I chose to book the Hotel Olissippo Oriente because it was conveniently located 2 min walk from the Oriente Metro station (train) which is directly connected to the airport (via the red line). ** massive tip: I saved a lot by strategically booking my hotels near train stations and saving on taxis. Grab the metro map and see where hotels coincide. I recommend this hotel not because of its location but it's modern and clean rooms, free wifi, good breakfast and it's great value.

The Negatives - We wanted a coffee at night so we assumed the kettle and sachets of instant coffee were forgotten. I called reception and the guy on reception laughed and said. That is just for the suites! At another time we asked a receptionist if they did room service, she said I would need to contact the staff that deal with that.
