The hotel is ideally situated right between Bairo Alto with it's buzzing bars and some of the best restaurants of Lisbon and the chic shopping district of Baixa/ Chiado. Cais do Sodré, the big train/ Metro- station is within 3 min walking distance, the busses and the famous tramway are even nearer! The other side of the coin: All that means a very noisy environment, day like night. But if you are ready to sleep with closed windows and the AC switched on: This is a great , very sound-proof ba... Greeted at the door by the very friendly and helpful Wilson was a great way to start a lovely 3 night stay. My room was on the small side but ok for 1 person. It was a city view room, which I enjoyed from my window seat. The decor of my room and the whole hotel was very stylish. The bed was comfortable and room very quiet and had a small fridge. The bathroom "pod" was clean and modern and the rain shower was wonderful. The daily complimentary evening wine and sushi was a very nice touch and very... Read more

I stayed at the hotel for one night by myself. When checking in the staff was super friendly and was keen to make sure that I was comfortable and I had someone take my bag and show me up to my room. The staff was also excellent when I asked them to suggest some restaurants in the area and they also offered to call ahead and book a table for me and my friends. The room I stayed in was excellent. It was clean, modern with a homely feel, tastefully decorated and spacious. The location of the ... Read more

Lovely little hotel with friendly reception staff. The rooms are very cute if small but are fine for a short stay. There is a bar serving sushi - tried one dish and it was really nice. Only quibble about the hotel is that the bar isn't particularly friendly once the restaurant is closed . We ordered a coffee and a glass of wine just after 11 one night and were told to bring it up to the room- it was pointed out that this should have been advised before accepting our order so we were told we... I stayed here last July with my best friend. I was in Lisbon on business trip then extended my stay 3 extra days for the weekend and stayed at LX boutique. It is so modern and nice and fashionable. Its in a great location near the train station. U can hop on train and go to the beach, or walk up to main square in 5mins. They give you cute little Portuguese cakes in reception, and the room are all really modern. The staff members are really nice. We had a lovely guy called pedro help us with our... Read more

I stayed in the LX Boutique Hotel for a weekend in March 2016 and overall it's a pretty good hotel. I've jotted down the pros and cons below: Pros: 1. Very well situated, in the middle of the city, you can walk just about everywhere 2. The hotel has a very modern and unique style/decoration 3. The staff was pretty friendly 4. The sushi restaurant in the hotel is good, they offer free sushi every night for an hour 5. Wifi works well Cons: 1. There was a stench in my room the entire weekend, a ... Read more

PROS The staff are delightful and exceptionally helpful, courteous, young and attractive, upbeat but not mawkishly hip. The overall design is restrained (most everything in shades of blue!) with a small "lobby", i.e., sitting area. The rooms are splendid if rather sparely furnished (but that's in character with the city), and designed to meet travellers' needs - ample cupboard space for clothing and luggage, some seating and a small table; great rainshowers in the bathrooms which though oddly de... We had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. The staff was nice enough to send up a bottle of sparkling wine. This is a stylish modern boutique with a lot of great things going for it: beautiful design, happening neighborhood, and friendly staff. Our room was perfectly quiet (4th floor, facing the water). It was clean and while not spacious, wasn't particularly cramped either. I think the main drawbacks of the place was that there was no closet (so I found it weird seeing my clothes hangin... This is an absolutely fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Lisbon, within walking distance of so many places. The rooms are very artfully decorated, comfortable, with the rooms on the upper level offering a rooftop view of the city and the sea. The hotel offers each guest a welcome drink and sushi appetizer at the restaurant next door, which was a nice touch. And they have complementary port wine and dessert (pastel de nata) However, what sets this hotel apart is the staff - genuinely warm a... Read more

The hotel staff were very good and made the arrival very easy. Helping to carry th bags to the room was a nice touch. The hotel is in a great location to explore Lisbon. The main square is only 5 minutes walk away. Our only issue (and it was a big issue in the end) was the noise from the nightclub which was below our bedroom window. The thumping base from the music and huge amounts of people outside made it very difficult to get to sleep. The music and noise stops around 5.00am - 5.30am which le... Read more

The. Good: This was a lovely hotel...the staff was friendly, and very helpful. Location was great ... Lots of good restaurants in walking distance The bad Rooms are small, not a lot of electrical plugs, no closet just hangers on mirror The Worst:the hotel is over clubs that play music all nite long...we turned on as much white noise as we could but that doesn't keep the bass out. If you can sleep thru the rumble ....

You can walk to many areas and subway is next door . The decor is fabulious . I can't love it more. The staf are very friendly and helpful . Whatever tip they gave me , was great . We spent several days at LX Boutique Hotel in Lisbon. The location was perfect, within steps of the train station in one direction and the city center in the other. LX Boutique is beautifully maintained and the service is superb! We enjoyed gratis pateis de nata with a glass of wine, every afternoon. We plan to return to LX Boutique on our next visit to Lisbon in just a few months.

The room was well designed, the bathroom very special with a nice fabric on the wall and floors! Specious room.

I have stayed at least on two occasions at the LX Boutique Hotel in Lisbon. I confess that I once even requested a room with a view and I loved both experiences so much. The rooms are confortable, clean, neat and the service from the word go at Reception level to be great. As a treat to myself, I booked a weekend getaway in Lisbon at this hotel using credit card points (Chase Ultimate Rewards). I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel - it seems to have great reviews, lovely location, charming interiors.... but unfortunately, I will never see it. I was flying to Lisbon from my home in Asia via Turkish Airlines and due to the attempted coup on 15-16 July 2016, my flight was diverted to eastern Turkey while Istanbul airport was shut down and a no-fly... My wife and I came to Lisboa for a criminally short time, but the LX was the perfect launching pad to see it all. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the staff were helpful from the start. They went above and beyond after we left. My wife loved one of the ceramic pieces in our room, and I contacted the manager to see about buying it for our anniversary. They unfortunately weren't able to sell it, but they sent me a picture and offered a couple of recommended websites were I could find somet... Read more

This small little hotel is really well located and the staff is super helpful. We went here as the last stop on our first vacation together and we couldn't have thought up a better finish. The hotel is very romantic and suits well for couples. We were offered a complementary glass of sparkling wine and some pieces of sushi on our first night. This was very tasty. In the lobby they also served some port wine and some tiny pastries every afternoon, which was always a pleasant surprise. The hot... Read more

Good location, service and breakfast. Rooms are small but pleasant. Nice touch with the free Portuguese cakes and port available in the lobby. Two questions however - why do 'trendy' hotels have a penchant for only frosting the bottom half of the glass dividing bathroom from bedroom? Why not go all the way up? And would it be too much to ask to install a wardrobe instead of just hangers on a hook?

Stayed here in July 2016 and was pleasantly surprised by how convenient the location was and the staff were very helpful. The one drawback to the room was the fact that the bathroom is glass and the bottom up to halfway of the wall is blurred out so if you are tall or standing in the furthest point of the room, you can see straight into the bathroom which could get a bit awkward if you're with friends!! However, its a very modern hotel and room so me and my friend got over this obstacle quickly ... Read more
