This time I'm disappointed. Too many problems: after check-in in my room I had problem with power. They put an external power as a workaround but was the same for all week. Security box not working but the day after was fixed. Sunday evening after 11:00pm Internet was not working till 9;00am. In the morning I reported telling me they were checking but Tuesday morning the same as well Wednesday. I decided do not report anymore and I was going in the office one hour before. Except for lounge acces... Read more

It is exactly what I would expect of a Marriott. The service was very good and the rooms were standard. They had a pretty decent bar on the main level that a lot of people seemed to congregate at in the evenings. While I was on a leisure trip, you can tell that this place is frequently used for business/smaller conference meetings. Pros: Nice rooms with views, nice executive lounge, decent bar/food, location (10 minutes Uber/cab to downtown and a 15 minute walk to the closest metro). Cons: ... Read more

Great terrace except absolute no wifi connection in case you want to work outside, with the view while enjoying the sun. Rooms are ok. Service at the bar is good and friendly. Restaurant for breakfast was well but this was a special buffet for companies.

Hotel experience was really good. The location is convenient to the airport, only within 10 mins by taxi which is very reliable and accessible. The staff were extremely helpful and professional and check-in was quick. Our room had a balcony and pool side view which is great! The room was very large and clean, the only downside is that the bathroom needs to be updated as the paint was chipping and they need to have a modern drier. Breakfast was great and although they said it was American buf... Read more

Nice clean hotel with spacious rooms, we had an adjoining room with our kids. The staff was nice a very helpful. Most everyone that works there speaks English with a few exceptions. It is fairly close to the Zoo but you will need to take the Metro or a cab into the city. Cabs are stationed at the hotel so there is no waiting. Small frige in the room so you can cab up to the grocery and stock up. Pool is closed during the winter so that was a bit disappointing. The bar/cafe has a limited m... Read more

Marriott Platinum -- 140+ Nights last year. We stayed here on our last night before flying out of Lisbon. This is a really nice modern 'Marriott' hotel, in Lisbon with comfortable beds and great staff. The executive lounge is top notch with good hour devours and free beer and wine for fairly lengthy hours during the evening. The rooms are spacious with the whole hotel having a nice redone interior! Fun rumor from the taxi driver says that two US Presidents have stayed at the hotel (prior to it b... Read more

Marriott/SPG Gold with roughly 60 hotel nights annually... This is a decent Marriott, but I wasn't blown away. Pros - Relatively modern with solid upkeep. - Comfortable bed. - Good breakfast, with an omelette station and very efficient waitstaff. - Executive lounge with complimentary beer/wine and hors d'ouvres in the evening. - Quiet part of town. Cons - Off the beaten path, with no restaurants/cafes nearby (though taxis are cheap). - Food prices seemed very high. - A good 20-minute (uphill)... Read more

If you are paying a discounted room price with buffet breakfast, they will throw you in their 2nd dining area where they totally neglect you. It consists of large tables where strangers must sit together. They do not remove dishes of the people who had breakfast earlier so you have to hunt for a clean place to sit. If there are more than two of you, good luck with finding a spot. We asked for a pot of coffee four times and no one brought it until you show them you are upset. I complained about t... Read more

It was our second stay after two years and all public areas went through a refurb. The style is now more of cosmpopolitan chic rather than traditional Marriott plush. The executive lounge has moved next to the bar with the pool view, which is sunny in the afternoon and warm to sit outside even in late December. There was a selection of hot nibbles, cheese and just one type of red and white wine. The staff there was charming. As it was our last night in Lisbon we have opted for a suite which is ... Read more
