Ridiculously bad stay at this hotel. It lists parking on the website which is why we chose this particular Ibis. No warning that the hotel is completely under construction and the parking lot is unavailable. Front desk could care less and quite put out that we needed directions to the public parking (and gave us incorrect directions). We parked 3 blocks away in public parking and were VERY lucky to find a spot - 1 of only 2 we saw open in the whole lot. We arrived in our room to find work... Read more

Guess what? No parking! COMPLETELY unapologetic front desk staff. In fact, they were somewhat put out with giving meet directions to the nearest public parking!Like the other review, only hot air blowing and you can't open the window! You are in the middle of long term construction projects on all sides! NO INDICATION of any of this on the web site! Parking is public and 3 blocks down the street and we were lucky to find a space! Staff could literally not care less! It will be MANY months befor... Read more

We arrived to the hotel early in the morning after a red eye flight and the lady at the front desk said to wait for a room since she might have one soon. After 2h30 wait, at 11am her answer was: I do not know why you waited, check in is at 12!!! After this, in the afternoon we came around 6pm to rest (pretty tired by then) and it was impossilble because they were doing works in the hotel and that went until 8pm after many complaints, I said that during reservation no one told us this and the ans... In a downhill walking distance to the historical district, and surrounded by restaurants, bakeries ("A Padaria Portuguesa" was our chosen spot for breakfast), museums and a mini market, I only didn't give it a 5/5 evaluation because it was under renovation and the rooms were smaller than Ibis' average. The upside in this hotel, and also the other Ibis I've stayed in Lisbon, is the 24-hours Ibis Menu, a greatly improved option of ready-made food, compared to other Ibis hotels I've stayed in, whe... The staff at this hotel were really wonderful. The minute I checked in I felt welcome. We were given a bigger room and it was very spacious. The location is very good with restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time in Lisbon.

the location of the hotel is very nice, near downtown historical centre by a walking distance, and also very close to the metro system of Lisboa. The staff is kind and helpful. Fair breakfast options. The room is really small, but clean and cozy.

We stayed at the Ibis while on vacation in mid October this year. We booked the hotel from Canada and confirmed late check out by the hotel on the day of our departure. Generally the staff are very helpful but the receptionist was rude on our last day of departure. We had gone out and returned to the hotel on the last day around 3:00pm only to find that we were locked out of our room with all our stuff inside. We were leaving for Greece and had to shower. The receptionist told us we would ha... Read more

I always stay at an Ibis hotel everywhere I go! Good price, clean, quiet, nice service! This one is on a very good location, spacious and comfortable rooms. The service at reception was excellent, mainly Maria who helped us a lot!!! I truly recommend!

This was a good hotel near central Lisbon. However, if you are walking, know that it is at the top of a hill (after walking all day, you notice!) This hotel was actually a bit better than the sister property we stayed at later. Helpful staff, the towels were newer and fluffier. This is the basic type of hotel, with out the luxe amenities, but was perfect for what we needed - we brought our own amenities! My daughter paid for this hotel with points, which made it very affordable. The location wa... Read more

Generally good experience with this ibis. When you book ibis, you know what you will get, and that's the thing I love. I know I will have a stay with a very comfortable bed, well maintained bathroom, generally good shower and clean. That's a basic! What to be improved? Probably a more trendy carpet, and more welcoming welcome drink (in my 4 days of stay, I have only seen once, then disappeared for the rest of the trip). BTW, the steep road outside really a pull off (not ibis's fault). No matt... Read more
