Me and my boyfriend were in this hotel in July 2015 for 4 nights. We have been welcomed by the staff. Staff speak french. It was very good for us. The room was small but clean. The bed is comfortable. We were happy. The Subway is not too far to this hotel. I will recommande this hotel who is fantastic.

We chose this location as we were driving through Portugal and good parking facilities were essential. The parking was good if not a little hair raising even in a small VW Polo. The room was spacious and had everything we needed except for acceptably secure wifi. The staff were friendly except when asked to recommend nearby cafes, I understand they want to promote their own eating area but to blatantly lie and say there's nothing nearby is a tad pathetic!

This is one of the previous generation of Ibis hotels, with proper built-in bathrooms, not the soulless plastic 'pods' you get in the newer hotels. We were given a warm welcome on arrival by a receptionist who spoke very good English (and, I discovered later in the week, perfect Spanish); staff were friendly throughout. Our room was kept immaculately clean. The comfortable bed, decent soundproofing and rear-facing location made for a good night's sleep. The bathroom door could also be swung thro... Read more

The hotel is situated some 20mins from airport (direct bus; aerobus 3?50 ticket/pax valid for 24h) and some 10mins away from Lisbon historical city centre (again you can use the aerobus ticket). The staff is nice and helpful. Just like any ibis hotel you know what you are expecting; clean room with a super comfy bed.

I have noticed the room was dusty and floor was not brushed or mopped throughout the stay, few occasion the towel was dirty, as always the heating does did not work. i am wondering does the heating ever work in the hotel ibis in saldhana. this time i slept in sigle beds and they are so unfomfertable and too soft.

Good hotel in the Ibis Standard! Good location, close to El Corte Ingles and Praça Marques de Pombal. Also very close to a subway station which makes easy to go around the city and to the airport. The staff was really nice.

It has everything you can expect from an Ibis. Simple but comfortable, efficient and clean apartment. Staff with friendly professional service. Breakfast at a reasonable price. Although close to Metro the Hotel is not in the touristic area of the city.

We stayed 4 nights at the Ibis Saldanha. Our room was the standard Ibis - adequate, very clean but not terribly roomy. The location is good for the Metro and Airport bus both being about 300 metres away. We paid for the breakfast which is a very good continental style. The staff were very helpful at giving us assistance and directed us to a couple of very good local restaurants. There is a laundromat within a 1 km walk if you need to do laundry (laundromats are scarce in Portugal).

This hotel is in a good location, many high end hotels are close by. The staff is friendly, room was comfortable but small. I would have liked to have an in-room safe for valuables. The directions from the website had me on the green-line instead of the closest metro stop on the red-line causing us to walk for miles with our suitcases!

Good hotel, good localization; good service; very gentle crew but a little "confused" for solving problems. very good wifi e Good internet speed. One very bad thing: printing (tickets, boarding passes, etc.) at the hotel internet-point/printer was pratically impossible, very bad policies for downloading and/or printing documents from internet; needed to ask doing that at the reception and still was complicated!!!

We(me and my wife) stayed 5 nights at the Ibis Saldanha on June 2016 to visit Lisbon during our vacation. - Location Ibis Saldanha is located on a quite street the Avenida Casal Ribeiro, it is close to the Saldanha Square and close to the Saldanha Metro station. Lots of services around. - Hotel infrastructure and facilities Everything was working properly and well maintained. The lobby area/bar is nice, it seems to had been renovated recently. - Room The corner room ending on x01 is bigger th... Read more

We enjoyed our stay in Lisbon and were well looked after by the hotel staff. It was a surprise to get such lovely weather at the end of the year so a bit plus! The hotel is well situated and well priced for a weekend in Lisbon and we would thoroughly recommend.

Was only passing through Lisbon on the way to France for Euro 2016 so had one day to see as much as Lisbon as possible in one day. The hotel is located near an excellent metro stop when it comes to connecting to and from the airport. The staff gave me essential information for my trap and I owe them many thanks. The room is comfortable and value for money. Only reason it's not a 5* is I had some trouble connecting to the wifi. A small problem in a great stay

This is standard Ibis hotel. Maybe little bit lower quality comparing same hotels in Budapest, Vienna or London but more or less that is. Good value for the money. Although not so close to the main center and attractions, very close to the metro station (from the airport). If you like to walk 20-30min to the center. Very helpful stuff at the reception and in the hotel overall. Maybe food can be improved. Free wifi, free safe at the reception

My room was on the 8th floor and was very quiet, the bed and pillow were so comfortable and I had the best sleep ever, The staff were very helpful when it came to what buses/subway I should take. I enjoyed the continental breakfasts as I'm a person that doesn't need bacon and eggs every morning, although I probably ate too many egg custard tarts. Overall my experience was good at the Ibis Saldanha.

Lisbon has always been a city of pensaos and cheap accommodation with questionable standards, given the evolution of the modern hospitality industry. Squeezed into the city centre with no integral amenities. I still remember staying in a pensao where the owner would sell you beer from his living room fridge! Given this, I was looking for a hotel with very good standards that wouldn't break the bank, slightly out of the very centre but a walk away, with parking, and that would be a nice place ... The hotel is in the centre of the city. Train station is just 10 minutes walk. However the rooms were not very spacious. There was a side table next to the window with 1 chair . And there was hardly any place for luggage. If you have 2 big bags then 1 will be on the floor and the other one on the side table provided by the hotel which left no space for you to walk from that side. Hotel staff was really nice. Breakfast is good but don't expect much.

As always Ibis delivers more then you expect from 2 star rated hotels. Excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh products. Better then what you get at higher priced hotels. Only downside for this hotel however is the location. Not so close to the centre as you expect. Rather expensive parking compared to other Ibis hotels.

Everything you will expect from an Ibis hotel. The stuff is very polite and helpful. The room was small, really small for a couple but the bathroom was okay. We had no view at all, only a small window looking at the skylight. The breakfast was above the average offering also Portuguese pastel de nata. The location was good for us since we had also rent a car, it's was around 15 minutes driving from the centre of Lisbon and 15 minutes to the airport. However the parking was expensive 8.5 eu... We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and one more night after a trip to the Algarve, before to depart from the airport. The hotel is located in a quite and central area, close to Praça Duque de Saldanha. Nearby there are two subway stops that allow you to reach the center in few minutes. The room we got for the first 4 days was clean, even if a bit small (the second one was bigger though). Though about a half hour walk from the old town, the location is very good. Easy to access from the airport on the red metro line. The Saldana metro station, which also serves the yellow line and is just a 5-10 min. walk from the hotel. Just a stone's throw away are several supermarkets, a bakery and other eateries that serve light meals. The hotel is your typical Ibis. Clean, functional and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was ample to start the day. We would stay here again.

We normally book Ibis everywhere cause its affordable, clean and very comfortable and Saldanha Ibis isn't any different, as it is located in a great street with beautiful restaurants in walking distance, a hyper market and access to both bus and metro. We watched the euro 2016 final there at the cafe downstairs. Staff great and helpful as usual with all you need, they even offered to give ice bucket for a wine bottle I bought from the supermarket.

Stayed in Ibis for 7 nights. The idea was to take in as much of Lisbon as possible. The hotel is very clean and great value for money. Right off the bat let's get some negatives that you expect (bare in mind the price/ location/ is it required?) - no fridge/ freezer in the room - no iron (although there is a communal one available in lower floors) The rest were all positive - staff are friendly and helpful. Always have a smile. - Rooms are costly - bathroom is clean and big enough. Felt new... Read more

We stayed at this Ibis for 8 days in September during our first visit to Lisbon We booked it mid-August and found it very difficult to find a mid-range good hotel & were really lucky to get the last room in this hotel It??s very well located out of the main tourist area about a five minute walk from Saldanha metro station ?? about a 20 minute ride from the airport. It??s really a bit too far to walk into the centre of the city (30 minute walk) but the metro is very quick & easy to use It?... Read more

This Ibis property is well situated near a metro stop. The hotel provided good accommodation - nothing fancy. We had "two twin beds" which were, strangely, against one another. Perhaps they use it as a "double" other times. There is a good deal of space in the room (for a European hotel) which is great for two travelers. My daughter had points that she used when booking - which made it a great deal for us! The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated.

It might not offer the luxuries of other, fancier hotels but if you're looking for a clean, affordable, centrally located hotel close to a metro station (red and yellow line) and within walking distance of shopping centres then this is the hotel for you. The rooms are servced every day. The TV has lots of channels to chose from. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is quiet at night. The shower is great. Finally, the best Indian restaurant in Lisbon is a short walk away (Passage to India)
