We decided to stay in Belem and travel into Lisbon. The hotel is bigger than I first realized from the outside. It's very well located in Belem close to all the sights. The one issue we had was finding parking since there is no hotel parking. This is no small feat since parking is a premium. The hotel has a nice breakfast which we ate at during our stay. Some of lights in our room didn't work which wasn't a big problem. The rooms are a good size and comfortable.

It is a nice hotel, well located in Belém and very close to Los Jerónimos monastery. The room is wide, comfortable, and it is soundproof from other rooms ... But not to the exterior with lots of descending planes. The bed is superb making the quality of sleep excelent. The bathroom is quite normal, hot water quickly available but on the other hand, the bathtub can be difficult and tricky for elderly people because it is high to enter. The breakfast buffet has not a big choice to deal but food ... Read more

The hotel is in an excellent location for walking to some restaurants and a few shops. There's not a lot of choices as compared to a bigger city, like Lisbon. It's across the street from the Jeronimos Monastery, which is quite beautiful. Depending on traffic, it was a 10-30 minute (4-10euro) uber ride to the Lisbon city center. The hotel itself is ok. Our room came with two twins (which I found to be the norm when requesting a king bed in Portugal & Spain). We did not get wifi in our room... Read more

This modern small hotel is located on a quieter road off many city attractions. The bonus is it is very close to my favorite egg tart shop-Pastéis de Belém and they do deliver those to your room every day....OMG, love it! The lobby is inviting with modern design and the room is also very nice! Compact but sufficient. I love to go get my breakfast and extra egg tart on the mezzanine level's cafe. I also love the fact that I can walk around town and see so many things from this location arou... Read more

We got overbooked and had to stay an extra 2 days, we went right back to the Jeronimos 8. It was clean, modern, great breakfast and staff were very helpful. Trolley cars and Buses are only a one block walk. Bank ATM next door. Restaurants 1, 2 or 3 block walk in a charming community city. 10 minute bus ride to city center or 20 by trolley cars. 5***** bakery around the corner, with 2 fruit markets one block in each direction. Parking was a snap, never more than 2 minutes to find parking. Museum ... Read more

This is a modern style hotel, with a good breakfast and comfortable room. I found it to be very adequate to our needs. I paid 80 euros per night, which was cheap for Lisbon in August. This is a good place, two steps from the Jeronimos Monastery, near pasteis de Belém, Torre de Belém and many interesting restaurants by the Tagus River. Also nearby: Jardim Botanico and the Coches Museum. Excellent access to public transportation, so you don't need a car while here.

I stayed here for a short visit to Lisbon and was very happy with its proximity to all that I wanted to see in Belem. Across the street from the monastery and the cultural center; short walk to enjoy the pasties de Belem; near the Belem Kiosk, waterfront, and restaurants; short walk to the tower. The staff was very friendly and professional, the hotel was clean and modern, and the breakfast was plentiful. I would stay here again.

I enjoy this Hotel very close Jeronimos monastery and " Padrao dos descubrimentos". Ideal for jogging in front of river Tejo. Also you can visit in 5 min a place where you can taste the tipically dessert of Lisbon . The Hotel is modern with minimalistic rooms. Wifi is slow in the rooms but speedy in common areas.

The location is good for being out at the west side of the city. It is very close to the Monestary and the Cultural Center Belem (CCB). However, the main city center is about 20 minutes away by tram or 10 by taxi. Bathroom was a good size, the room was rather small. The A/C blew right onto the bed, so I had to turn it down at night. I found that by leaving it on high while out in the evening cooled the room enough to be ok for the night. The offering for the breakfast buffet was good with scramb... Read more

This is by far the best place to stay when looking for a comfortable hotel in the middle of Belem. We booked this hotel because of the festival NOS ALIVE (and we have been there before and that was also great). The staff is friendly, housekeeping is good, rooms are clean, breakfast is included (modest, but ok). Tip: ask for a superior room, you have more space and view of the monastery. Minor point: the price, the hotel is quite expensive. If you are on budget, look somewhere else. Otherwise, if... Read more
