Lisbon is a charming city to travel comes to see sites and meet wonderful people. Hotel Jeronimos 8 characterized by those features. The people at reception were a great help, always with a smile and patience to provide as much information and assist. Rooms are cozy, comfortable bed and a spacious shower At first I got the room 105 with a balcony overlooking But the Internet communications was not good although they tried to fix it. Immediately they let me to move to another room by my selection... Read more

While this is not a five star hotel but it certainly deserves a five star for location and amenities. Hotel is very modern, with completely up to date, bathroom, way too much closet space, and plenty of floor space in your room. Water pressure is almost too much and the bed is comfortable. The location is perfect for this part of Lisbon. We had stayed in the old city prior and it was also very nice. Closer to the castle etc. But this place is closer to the palace and other things to see. ... Read more

First, the staff is friendly, helpful and they all go out of their way to make the most pleasant experience. The rooms clean. The included breakfast buffet makes it possible for you to hit all the wonderful locations the city has to offer without pangs of hunger in the middle of a visit. The location, even though out of the "center" of town is perfect. There is just so much to see in Belem that you do end up being centrally located for everything to see. Opening your windows to see the amazin... Read more

Pleasant hotel across the street to the monestary and walking distance to Torre de Belem, the waterfront and museums...biggest problem was the WiFi...upper floors couldnt get the reception so you have to be at the lobby to get a signal

This hotel is only about its location. All the other things were not so good. The room was small and extremely hot! The air conditioning was also not working at all so we had to open the windows. Our room had a dirty carpet which is unacceptable! The menus in the room were in terrible condition with lots of coffee stains. Also, i found the price too high for the quality of this hotel. I was expecting a good breakfast to compensate the bad experience but unfortunately the breakfast was also very ... Read more

First of all this was an inexpensive 4 star hotel and it was certainly nice enough, but the elevator didn't work and climbing those 4 flights of stairs day after day got pretty tiring. It's technically outside the city proper but Uber works great in Lisbon so we used it a lot to get around. We picked this location due to the proximity of the Belem Tower, Maritime Museum, and monastery. The hotel rooms are pretty spartan but fairly large by European standards, and don't include things Americans ... Read more

This is by far the best place to stay when looking for a comfortable hotel in the middle of Belem. We booked this hotel because of the festival NOS ALIVE (and we have been there before and that was also great). The staff is friendly, housekeeping is good, rooms are clean, breakfast is included (modest, but ok). Tip: ask for a superior room, you have more space and view of the monastery. Minor point: the price, the hotel is quite expensive. If you are on budget, look somewhere else. Otherwise, if... Read more

The location is good for being out at the west side of the city. It is very close to the Monestary and the Cultural Center Belem (CCB). However, the main city center is about 20 minutes away by tram or 10 by taxi. Bathroom was a good size, the room was rather small. The A/C blew right onto the bed, so I had to turn it down at night. I found that by leaving it on high while out in the evening cooled the room enough to be ok for the night. The offering for the breakfast buffet was good with scramb... Read more

I enjoy this Hotel very close Jeronimos monastery and " Padrao dos descubrimentos". Ideal for jogging in front of river Tejo. Also you can visit in 5 min a place where you can taste the tipically dessert of Lisbon . The Hotel is modern with minimalistic rooms. Wifi is slow in the rooms but speedy in common areas.

I stayed here for a short visit to Lisbon and was very happy with its proximity to all that I wanted to see in Belem. Across the street from the monastery and the cultural center; short walk to enjoy the pasties de Belem; near the Belem Kiosk, waterfront, and restaurants; short walk to the tower. The staff was very friendly and professional, the hotel was clean and modern, and the breakfast was plentiful. I would stay here again.

This is a modern style hotel, with a good breakfast and comfortable room. I found it to be very adequate to our needs. I paid 80 euros per night, which was cheap for Lisbon in August. This is a good place, two steps from the Jeronimos Monastery, near pasteis de Belém, Torre de Belém and many interesting restaurants by the Tagus River. Also nearby: Jardim Botanico and the Coches Museum. Excellent access to public transportation, so you don't need a car while here.

We got overbooked and had to stay an extra 2 days, we went right back to the Jeronimos 8. It was clean, modern, great breakfast and staff were very helpful. Trolley cars and Buses are only a one block walk. Bank ATM next door. Restaurants 1, 2 or 3 block walk in a charming community city. 10 minute bus ride to city center or 20 by trolley cars. 5***** bakery around the corner, with 2 fruit markets one block in each direction. Parking was a snap, never more than 2 minutes to find parking. Museum ... Read more
