Good location very close to metro to airport and downtown. Clean nice room at reasonable rates. We went for tennis at Estoril but Lisbon is a nice city too. lots of good value restaurants. Hotel was just right for our situation.

No elevator! Room had ants on the floor and wasn't very clean. We asked for a room with a private bath.....but it was down the hall. very shop worn hotel! The breakfast was ok....it was close to the canal.....but noisy. Would not recommend. there are many hotels in Venice Italy......so look around before settling on this one! The desk clerks we we helpful.

The room is good, the service is ok. The hotel is situated in a business environment, not far from the old city. The public tranport options are very close to the hotel. There is a bus station, a metro station and a hop-on/hop off busservice at a 5 minutes walking distance. The breakfast is rather expensive (11‚?¨ p,p,), but there are many cafes in the neighbourhood that serve a perfect breakfast.

We picked this hotel on a whim after other hotels thumbed their noses at us because my wife smokes. We're simple folk and so the fact there isn't a proper restaurant with the hotel didn't bother us, (We rarely eat in anyway.) The hotel is themed on the movies and we were given the Metropolis room, the room itself was was fraying a little at the edges, particularly in the bathroom where there was a hint of dead pigeon smell that we couldn't quite place, it wasn't pervasive so we didn't complain. ... The hotel is nice, quite conveniently located, staff is friendly. The "cinema" idea that's behind the concept of the hotel is also interesting, but rooms (at least the two I saw) need some restoration...

My wife and I were delighted with this hotel. The staff were excellent, the room clean and quiet. An excellent breakfast is served in a large room with a fantastic view. Access to tour buses, the Metro and abundant taxis make this a great location with good restaurants nearby as there is no dining room. Very helpful staff helped with booking restaurants and taxis. This hotel is conveniently situated for access to the Lisbon tour buses. They are situated across the road. Sounds simple, but takes at least three crossings to negotiate your way through very busy traffic. Hotel sits on the head of the Rue Duque de Palmela. All the life on the street is to be found at the other end, approx 3/4 mile down. However, the metro is just outside the hotel door and is user friendly. The interior of the of the hotel is "novel". i.e a movie theme is used throughout. W... Read more

This Hotel is ideally situated, just a 10 minute walk to the Bairro Alto area of Lisbon. We found the Hotel to be very clean and our rooms were cleaned daily, all the staff were very helpful and courteous. It was a nice touch that each room has a name pertaining to a movie or movie star with corresponding posters inside the rooms. A very nice breakfast was served with both hot and cold food available. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located on top of avenue lieberdade, which is Lisbon version of 5th avenue. A few blocks away is mini market and a McDonalds. Ask the front desk for directions to mini market. It's also close to an ATM and all public transportation. My room came w/ breakfast and it was a really good hot/cold buffet. I had a triple and the room was not large but fine. The bathroom was a bit cramped but also fine. The bed and bedding were comfortable and the a/c worked well. The staff was friendly a... Read more

The hotel is a approx 25mins walk to main square. Has a number of food and shopping options not too far away. Good place to stay however not too close to the old town..

This restaurant had an excellent location in the heart of Lisbon. It's very close to down town, many restaurants, and supermarkets. I was checked in room number 520 which was very very small and its bathroom is too tight as well. Rooms like x16 are more spacious and like normal rooms in other hotels.

Very good location and breakfast. Despite being at the 9th floor, there was no view. The rooms seem to be renovated 80%, rest of the 20% feels like didn't matter. The bathroom is very small and "old". Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Relaxed, clean and quirky hotel. We got 2 single beds and asked to be moved. We ended up on the top floor in a family room - huge bed, great view and much more space - thank you! Breakfast is really nice and they have an outdoor area with decking. Cabs are cheap in Lisbon and there's a taxi rank just around the corner. Very easy to get around the city to explore.

We stayed in the hotel for our honeymoon 5/7/16-10/7/16 while visiting Lisbon for a music festival . We found the staff to be some of the most helpful we have ever come across and you are made to feel important and welcome from the moment you enter the door to the moment you leave! The breakfast was brilliant and excellent value for money! We also used the room service option and had excellent burgers and milkshakes from the 'great American disaster' restaurant situated near the hotel! All i... Read more

The hotel has a quirky movie theme which seems a little dated and needs a bit of renovation although it may appeal more to other people than to me. Pros: Excellent breakfast. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels and not eaten as well as this. First rate. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Reasonably clean rooms. Cons: Despite advertising free Tea/Coffee and water this was only provided after complaining to the reception each day. I gave up in the end. Rooms were small. Bath... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights upon first arrival to Portugal via Lisbon airport. It's a solid 30min+ metro ride from the airport (you cannot miss the Metro stop once you exit Arrivals), but worth the one-transfer commute. Once you exit the Marques de Pombal stop, you can see the hotel sign (in roughly the SW corner of the roundabout). We were 2 families with 2 and 3 kids each, so requested 3 adjoining rooms. Although that wasn't available, they did the best to accommodate us all on the same floo... Read more

This hotel is a little old and needs some cosmetic attention, but it is in a good position on the main avenue of Lisbon and is a 15 minute walk to the hub. The room is big with a huge king bed and good cupboard space. There is a fridge with tea and coffee facilities and a in room safe. The shower is over the bath with a good supply of hot water. The Windows have roller shutters to block out the light. The A/C is a split system that struggles a bit on a very hot day but the room wasn't too hot. T... Read more

We stayed here recently for 3 nights after our orignally booked hotel could not accommodate us and moved us here. Location is ideal. Right next to a metro stop, close to where the aerobus and hop on and hop off bus stops. Also walking distance to some great restaurants, shopping and sights. Room was clean, we were in Audrey Hepburn suite, decor is 50's which can make room appear dated. Shutters kept room nice and dark. Breakfast had great choice with a great view. Staff very friendly and helpful... Read more

This hotel is in an excellent location, just off Marques de Pombal, less than a minute from the Metro station and great for exploring Lisbon. It is for the traveller that likes to stay somewher that is a bit different from corporate characterless hotels. The rooms are spacious, modern and nicely decorated even though needing cosmetic attention in places. Staff are very helpful.
