Ok you get what you pay for. The rooms are dated, that it itself could be fine but in this case they aren't really clean either and there is no excuse for grime in the bathrooms. The free wifi is next to useless so don't go expecting to be able to do much with it. Breakfast was not appealing and the staff at breakfast were simply rude and unhelpful. Reception staff were very helpful however so can't complain about that. As others have said the location is good. Its only a mile or so to th... Read more

Only good thing about this hotel is location. It's near 2 metro stations (Parque and Marques de Pombal) or 10-15 minutes walk to the center of Lisboa. All hotel is out-dated and need renovation. Internet didn't work in the room. Rooms are ok size but in toilet feels sewer smell. We have been accommodated on floor with a group of children who were so loud and we could not sleep until 3 a.m. When we asked to change the room the recepcionist told us that there is no free room, but when we said that... The hotel is in a very good position and in 3 minutes walk you can catch the metro that in 3 stops you are in the centre. The worst thing about our stay was the wifi connection that was very poor, excluding the stairs area.

Stayed here for 8 nights as a base for visiting Lisbon and surrounding area. Rooms looked freshly painted. No rips in furniture as read in another review. Free breakfast was ample with a good basic choice. Five mins from metro station. Good city hotel :-)

Booked this hotel because we were joining group of friends and they had already made reservations there. The place definitely wouldn't be on my shortlist. First, the pros: good location and polite staff. The cons: old, poor lit, bit of scruffy, needs a remodeling or at least a good spring cleaning. Free wi-fi is not very fast. The breakfast is poor. At first we were offered an awful small and dirty room on the second floor. We requested a change and we were taken to a bigger room on the 8th ... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. Old rooms and furniture. Wifi only on the lower floors. No sound proofing, could hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. Air conditioning wasn't working and one definitely needs in the LIsbon summers. Hotel staff was really unhelpful and at times plain rude. Even the free breakfast was nothing remarkable. Very basic bread cheese an omlette. The juice seemed to be artificial and made from powder. The only good thing was the proximity to the metro. Would really advise... Read more

My family and I weren't expecting much from the hotel. We were aware that it's not too expensive and not too fancy, and that's frankly ok. The place, however, lacks the very basics in confort. Let's get the worst part out of the way: the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. Even after we complained, they did some cleaning, and after a few hours the smell was there again. There's no excuse for this, it's basic hygiene. The air conditioning was out of order and nobody said anything until we were ac... Read more

We stayed for 5 days. Great location. We read the hotel was very dated but we were hugely dissapointed upon our arrival. Needs some serious renovation and new furnitures. The bathroom was spacious though and very tidy/clean and the beds comfortable. The room was thoroughly cleaned daily. The breakfast was ok, pretty standard, at a lovely 10floor terrace. Would be nice to have some more options on cheese and hams, instead of just one. Especially for 5 days it got really boring. The coffee was goo... Read more

Hotel has nice location. You can reach historical center in twenty minutes walk. Also subway station Parque situated nearby. Eduardo 7th definetely has its style, it may seem old fashioned. Interior of the rooms is not new, but mostly it's working. Standart room that we had wasn't very large, but we spent most of the time outside, so that didn't bother us. Bathroom is also ok, it had soap and shampoo. It also took some time for water to become hot. Staff is very friendly. Our room was ma... Read more
