We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights from 28th December to 1st January. Our spotless clean, large spacious room was on the 7th floor with its own terrace and amazing view over Lisbon and the river. We had an extremely satisfying meal in the restaurant, also on the seventh floor, on the first night, served by really friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast in the hotel has something for everyone and was continuously replenished. We found all the staff to be helpful and friendly and the Spar... Read more

The location of the hotel is perfect for tourists, easy to walk around the old town area and close to all the local and tourist transport. The views from the roof terrace are lovely and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. I knew when we booked it that the view from the room might not be great. All you could see out of the window was the building opposite, but the room itself was lovely. Besides, if you're in Lisbon and staying in a hotel with a panoramic roof terrace, what are you doi... I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions now whilst visiting the lovely city of Lisbon. I would not say it is the best hotel but it has the best location. You step out the front door and you are in middle of Chiado within short walking distances to shops and street cafe's The bedrooms are small but comfortable and you don't want to stay in the rooms for long when you have this wonderful city on your doorstep. The breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant with amazing views over... Read more

We have just returned from a lovely 4 night break in Lisbon. If you are looking for a hotel with high standards and central access to the city, then look no further. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, high cleanliness standards and very spacious. Although we only had the tiniest of balconies this did not matter as there is the most amazing roof terrace with views available. There was a lovely fresh breakfast available with something for all tastes, fruit, cereal, cooked, meats/che... Read more

Disappointing. Overpriced rooms for what you get. Small dark room. Soiled dark industrial carpet. Carpet smelled like toliet cleaner. Croissants were like refrigerator rolls.. Otherwise food good. Staff very nice. Lisbon is way too crowded with tourists....it's ridiculous. This is in good location but rooms just not pleasant.

We stayed here 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Very near many restaurants and bars, as well as great shopping options. Easy walk to many cool sights. Very nice breakfast with a bar for drinks in the evening and a great terrace view. Would definitely recommend it. Very large, modern rooms.

This is a fully modernized hotel in the historic Chiado section. The location is ideal; you can walk to many attractions or catch a tram. (Taxis are cheap.) The views from the restaurant and terrace are superb; you overlook the heart of the commercial district, see the castillo on the opposite bluff, and gaze at the Tagus. Rooms with terraces have this great view. Excellent buffet breakfast. Fine service. Not cheap but you feel you're getting your money's worth. This would be the first p... Read more

We had a room with an outdoor terrace. What we didn't realize that the terraces were along the top floor of the hotel and offer panoramic views of the city, the castle, and the harbor. We were gobsmacked and immediately opened the champagne in the minibar. The "lift" where tourists climb a tower to get views were basically just to the left of us. The hotel also planted climbing vines between the terraces to provide some privacy. The hotel itself was in a great location, close to everything, mode... Read more

My husband and I stayed for two nights here. The views from our room and the hotel roof bar were stunning. You can't get a better view of the city. Gustav shucked us fresh, local oysters every evening as we watched sunset. He and the rest of the staff were so professional and helpful. The rooms were clean and the mini bar was always stocked. We had a wonderful stay.
