Hotel Açores is very nice, clean and "strategically" placed in Praça de Espanha, in front of the Metro station. The most interesting places in Lisbon are quickly reachable in a few minutes. Great personnel and great courtesy, even if you ask to book for a restaurant.

Clean rooms, very comfortable beds and a staff that works to make your stay pleasant. Although located in the business area it was extremely easy to get downtown on the M. Buy a 6â?¬ ticket and you can ride E15 or the E21 or any of the trams for 24 hours. At the waterfront hope a ferry to cross the Targus river for unbeatable sea food. The staff makes the hotel with their positive attitude and helpful suggestions. We ate supper at the Hotel and the salmon was excellent. As we were leaving the... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel Acores Lisboa in April on a Groupon trip, and had a wonderful time! Talk about a great location - it is quite literally steps from a metro entrance, and a 10 minute ride to the heart of the city. With modern amenities and services, we didn't want for much here. Room service was great, the hotel bar was open when we wanted a drink, and breakfast didn't leave us hungry at all. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and convenient, central location made this a great stay for ... Read more

Late arrival in Lisbon, one night layover. Helpful reception open 24 hours after a late flight. Comfortable room and excellent bathroom. I still have a bruised head after the bedside cabinet attacked me when I turned over too quickly. I put a gift in the mini bar to keep it cool and was queried about the two items I knocked over. Such is the hotel life, all in all it is clean and efficient, breakfast is of good quality and airport is 35 minutes. One stop linha azul and 11 on the linha vermilha t... Read more

We needed two nights at the end of our trip near to airport but not next to airport as we had a 7am flight. We had stayed in centre of city previously so wanted something convenient at a good rate. The hotel has a metro on the doorstep, one line and no changes into the city centre.nit is also only a ten minute taxi ride to airport (6k and about 10 euros). Reception friendly, speedy check in. Room large but a bit dark. Bed excellent. First time have seen notice in a hotel that says you can't put ... Read more

We only stayed here 1 night after driving up from the SW coast (Sagres) before our flight home the next day. But I would certainly stay here again and recommend the hotel for its value. I thought the hotel design inside was great (hardwood in bathroom, carpet in bedroom), and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is free parking in the basement (albeit a tad tight). The staff was also very pleasant and professional (English speaking). The location is great for getting t... Read more

very nice and clean please, the people where very nice and pleasant, good assortment of food at Breakfast. I would recommend it to my friends. I would certainly go back on my future business trips. The only issue I had was the shower button was very difficult to turn on and off.

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to a cruise in May. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and ate at a few "local" restaurants. Our room was very nice and quiet. We arrived in the AM after a long flight from California and was able to get into our room right away, after enjoying the buffet breakfast. Great front desk staff.

Nothing very exciting about this hotel. Rooms clean but very average. Breakfast terrible, the breakfast room is far to small, the continental breakfast has no choice.or you can get cold eggs, cold mushroom, cold Bacon! If the hotel cannot provide a decent breakfast, do they not realise people will not book for lunch or dinner. Got ripped off by the Taxi from the airport, complained to the hotel, and their reply 'yes that always happens' hotel not really bothered. Generally the staff are friendly, ... Read more

Very close to a metro station, very close IPOL, this hotel offers quiet and large rooms. The views are not exciting. Everything was clean. Bathroom was nice also. Breakfast possibilities with sufficient coves and good quality. Reception desk: people were helpful and nice. Good place to stay.

I would give the highest rate to my stay at the Acores Lisboa hotel. All my expectations were more than fulfilled thanks to the Front Office Manager Luis Goncalves and to the Deputy Front office Manager Sonia Meira who were very caring to provide help and assistance in many ways revealing their professional skills and their concern in making their clients stay as pleasant as possible.

Hotel Acores is an ideal choice for anyone arriving by car: it's relatively easy to reach (given some advance planning) and has its own free underground parking garage. In fact, you should probably drive directly to the garage, whose entrance is in the rear (turn right just before reaching the hotel, then left). Otherwise, I found a fine, mid-range, modern hotel with exceptionally friendly personnel and an ample breakfast included in the room price. To be sure, as others have noted, you are awar... Read more

Staff were very friendly and always helpful. Lovely breakfast in the morning, and they even provided gluten free bread for us. It's located away from the busiest areas in Lisbon, and only two steps from an underground station which takes you straight to the city centre. Super room, really welcome aircon with a lovely view. Great experience for great value.

We stayed one night in Lisbon and couldn't fault this hotel. I had a hire car and was given free use of the secure underground car park as a guest, this was fantastic as the car was secure and I could leave all my cases in the boot from our holiday with piece of mind. In addition, we had booked two interconnecting rooms a twin for the children and a double for ourselves which were well equipped and spacious, this was perfect as they are young so they could go to sleep in their room, whilst we ha... We stayed one night as a stop over for the airport the following day. It is a lovely hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. We had connecting rooms, which were clean, smart, nicely furnished and comfy beds. They are equipped with built in safe, mini bar, hairdryer and TV (with some American channels). The breakfast was buffet style and good quality with plenty of choice. My son particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed just one night before departing from Lisbon airport. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable - the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful with questions about getting the metro and what to see with the limited time I had. you can resume this hotel in one word: FUNCTIONAL. The rooms are clean, even nice looking, functional, the location is good (close to both Metro [blue line] and taxis, but you are not at a walking distance from the touristic Lisbon unless you come just to visit the Gulbenkian foundation [concerts/museum]) specially if you are in Lisbon for professional reasons. Small but clean and modern room. A couple of nice touches - complimentary bottle of water and also provided boxed breakfast because we were checking out very early to catch a flight. Nearness to Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and departure the next day was the reason for our one-night stay. Much nicer than we expected for a chain hotel. For very early am departure the staff provided box breakfast (in lieu of breakfast included with room) and arranged taxi pickup. In spite of being in the flight path, room on eighth floor was very quiet. Spacious room had excellent bed and amenities. Staff was quick to arrive to replace burned out light bulb in bed lamp.
