After reading a few reviews, I settled on this hotel due to it's location for event I was working at . It's a high traffic hotel and it shows from the obvious wear and tear in the rooms and building. That's ok if your aware of it. I had a very good sized executive room and the bed was comfortable and good separate office sitting area etc.. The general area surrounding the hotel is urban city with a large hospital at the back and some decent restaurants when you go looking. I found a really gr... Read more

Check in was slow. I had a room right next to the elevator which I asked to move because they make a noise every time they are called. Moved to a room that was tiny, could not walk past the bed without turning sideways. No chair in room. WiFi was very slow in the room and intermittently stopped loading and passing traffic for a few minutes every so often. Worked much better in lobby. Reviewers complain about WiFi dating back to 2014 (didn't look further) so don't expect them to fix this anytime ... Read more

From the front desk clerk to the bar tender the staff was outstanding. My entire trip seemed blissfully charmed and this hotel and staff certainly contributed. English was superb and customer service was of the highest quality. Always helpful and informative. I checked in early to a clean room with a great view.

The hotel is large, clean and is a pretty standard Holiday Inn. The hotel is more business than tourist - and located as such. Staff at the hotel are helpful. It only has three small lifts, so you may have to wait for one from time to time. Note rooms vary from quite small to large.

A congrats to the housekeeping department..The hotel is very well located near to metro and bus stands easy excess to restaurants especially the locally cooked Portuguese foods especially restaurant entre copos, the amazing land mark of the attractive bull ring, easy to get around to most interesting tourist spots and in the midst of the real down to earth life style of the local Portuguese people. This hotel was so accommodating even though we were checking in at 1 in the morning after a late flight from London. We were in executive suite 901 and so pleased. Lots and lots of room and counter space for the four of us. A huge king bed, a wall if counter space and comfortable chairs in the main room. A hallway with comfortable chairs, an ottoman and large glass counter space. A separate room with a single bed and a sofa bed plus lots of counter space, and a dining room table. The bathroom wa... I thought this hotel was somewhat worn. Certainly my room with a tattered chair and a worn look was. Nothing to write home about. No ice machines, and if you want ice delivered to room there was a FEE! We took a bag to the bar and asked for ice. Again, no free computer to print boarding passes, so I ask one of the girls at the front desk to please print them and she complied w/o any great enthusiasm. The best part was a 3 am taxi to the airport was only 10 euros.

I like this hotel specially because of its location. The rooms are not bad, but could be a little bigger. Breakfast is not good for a 4* hotel. Staff is sometimes undernumbered, so it may happen you have to wait a lot for check-in / check-out.

I spent a week at this hotel while on buisness, and was thoroughly impressed. Check in and out was smooth and quick, with no language barriers. Rooms were large and the bed comfortable. This hotel is updated and very modern. I was very happy with the room rate; however, that was also due to the fact that the tourist area on the waterfront was about a 30 min walk away. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with great variety and very good service. The bar area is fine, but unremarkable. If you want... Read more

Room (at least mine) is tiny. Ditto the bathroom with the bidet and the toilet bowl almost touching. The wardrobe is not user friendly as it is so close to the bed. Also the three smallish lifts situated at a strange tight corner of the lobby.

We spent just one night in this hotel with two kids and I was pretty disappointed with bed and breakfast. Linen didn't feel pleasant at all and we couldn't get asleep. Breakfast was average and I'm sure I will never come back to this hotel as there is so many other options in Lisbon.

Stayed here for 10 nights and it was perfect. Really close to all of the train stations. Lots of cafes and shopping near by. Safe, quiet and clean. The hotel laundry is crazy expensive but there is a laundromat near by. We were able to get to all of the sites we wanted to see with ease from this location.

One of the longest check-in and check-out processes I ever seen... People at the desk are not rapid (and that s an euphemism...) and not friendly....AT ALL!! You can see all of a bench of people hanging around doing nothing. Strange. Cherry on the cake : out of 4 nights, my room was cleaned only twice. There is really a problem in here... Last thing : wifi not working at least on the 9th floor....

Rooms very comfortable and clean. Staff extremely helpful, you know it's a good hotel when they actually remember your name. Stayed here for 10 days. Hotel is about 2.5 miles from city centre, depending on physical ability easy to walk, bit more difficult returning to hotel as it is uphill most of the way. Taxis are reasonably priced and it is also easy to get around using the bus and Metro. Excursions to other local areas available, eg Fatima, Setubal, guides very knowledgeable. Choice of eater... Clean rooms were the highlight. Distance from city centre and a very ordinary breakfast make it a less than desirable stay when there are literally dozens of better options. It is close to the train, but not much else. When coming to Lisbon, stay closer to the city and if u you love Holiday Inn...choose the other one which at least offered a pool. Would not recommend. ???

The hotel itself is your usual Holiday Inn, rooms were fine, hotel was clean and the location, for where my meetings were, was great, however, the staff and customer service were poor and really let the place down. The reception staff were abysmal, all happy to go about doing small things without acknowledging your presence until you physically had to say something to them and then they gave you absolutely no information. We had a nice clean Executive suite for our family of 4. The room was a mini home away from home with a living area that had a sofa bed for the night. The hotel is well located to Metro station. It is about 20 minutes from City center. Taxis are easily available. Breakfast in the morning is great and very convenient for a family with young kids. The staff is friendly and gave good tips on places to visit and returning safe to hotel. Overall would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in good condition rooms are clean and staff are friendly. However, the rooms are very tight and small beyond 2 people. A cot for my daughter was placed in the only available walking space in the room which meant we had to climb over beds to get to the bathroom and door. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were extremely accommodating in getting me milk for my 15 month old. The hotel is a few blocks from the local transportation. It??s a big hotel, centrally located for biz and close to the airport but not in the most touristic area of the city. Parking at night is easy in the neighbourhood. I am basing this review on the fact that the hotel advertises itself as 4 stars. The lobby lives up to 4-star expectations. A grand piano in the lobby, a bar. Property looks very clean. Use a Taxi to get to the hotel. (They are very reasonably priced in Lisbon.) Then one can walk around and find may stores and restaurants with four or so blocks. There is a large Chinese restaurant with an excellent buffet within a half-mile.The price is outstanding and so i9s the selection of Chinese foods.

Surely needs renovation - outdated furniture, dirty carpet on the floor, tired elevators - only three small lifts for such a big building is a strong message for fire inspection and rescue teams. Breakfast was poor. Personnel at the reception is friendly, but a bit slow - check out might take up to 20 minutes. Cleaning was also a question. It is not worth 4-star hotel in my view.

Stayed in the hotel for 1 night. I thought it was a bit far from the city centre. I had to get a cab into the centre to go for dinner. If I was in Lisbon again I wouldn't stay here just because of the location. It was very busy for breakfast. Breakfast choice was good but was a bit of a scrum. I wouldn't call it relaxing. More akin to feeding time at the zoo. Room was good. No issue with Wifi.
