The hotel is the perfet choice for a stay in Lisbon. Centrally located we were able to walk to the three major districts. Our fifth floor room was quite large and comfortable and being on the side street it was quite. The staff was very helpful and engaging. Breakfast was top notch as well.

Great hotel in heart of Lisbon loved the pool and free coffee and port in lobby. Thanks to Franco the doorman for his help and advice, all the front desk staff were great and one even came out to my car and helped with the GPS. The room was very clean and very good breakfasts.

We wanted to stay in a central location with modern flair and the Heritage Avenida Liberdade met this perfectly: you can reach the inner part of the city within 5-10 minutes of walking. The rooms were quite spaceous, breakfast was very good (with Nespresso coffee) and in the afternoon you can even get free coffee or port wine in the hotel bar. Great service, no complains at all. We can really recommend it!

We have just spent 5 nights at this beautiful hotel. Fantastic location. Easy walk into main central area of Lisbon. Lovely room on the 4th floor, double aspect, good size, super bathroom with double sink & excellent shower. Very clean and well appointed. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, breads & pastries, range of breads & jams, fresh orange juice & scrambled egg with sausage & bacon. Tea, coffee, port & moscatel wine available all day. Extremly helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel... Read more

Great location. This is a small boutique hotel that really works well. Staff are always helpful with good ideas for dining and places to go. Breakfasts are great with many options. Size is just about right. Be aware the fitness room is a bit limited.

From the outside there is not much to expect from the hotel, but once you get in the room, it looks pretty fancy! My room had a high ceiling, comfortable beds and nice and wide bathroom. Careful staying in the first floor, because the rooms aren't quite as good as the others.

On our recent trip to Portugal, we had the opportunity to start and finish our journey in Lisbon, where we stayed at the Heritage Avenida Liberdade Hotel. The location is excellent, within walking distance of all the attractions in Lisbon & area, and with excellent rail connections to Sintra & Cascais, at reasonable cost. The Hotel accommodations are excellent, with (in our case) included buffet breakfast daily. The staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are varying size, but all comfortable & n... Read more

We booked this hotel last-minute based on the amazing reviews and I'm so glad we did. We walked everywhere in the city from the hotel and our room was amazing (2nd floor, #20). Sky high ceilings, 2 large windows/Juliet balconies, comfortable bed, large bathroom and a view overlooking Avenida Liberdade. It was the perfect spot to call home base for our trip to Lisbon.

From our arrival we were made welcome by all staff from the Reception, Porter and Breakfast waitresses. The bedroom we had was very comfortable and had all amenities we expected. Handily placed for a short walk to the Centre of the City where you can pick up the Trams, Metro, Buses and take the Main Line trains to outer destinations if required. The main up market shops are very close if you wish to make some purchases and there are a good selection of Restaurants close by with one less than 100... Read more

We stayed here for our final night of a 9 day vacation of Portugal. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is very welcoming and the all day offering of coffee, tea, flavored water, and Portuguese wines was really a lovely touch. Our room was on the 6th floor and although not really "spacious" the design was such that the space was used creatively so that the area was comfortable and roomy. We have loved the location which is on a high end street near upscale shopping and bars, 5 minute walk from the Rossio train station and the heart of the old neighborhoods and touristy things to see. We have slept well on a nice king bed with soft sheets, there are black out shades, and it has been very quiet. The hotel is located along the busiest avenue in Lisbon. But inside, it is a quiet and calm oasis, where the concierge and bell boys welcome you enthusiastically to Lisbon! I loved that everyone in this hotel was not haughty but instead very proudly welcomed us into their lovely city. If we visit Lisbon again, we will definitely stay here again. Note: The breakfast was delicious and cost only 10 â?¬ per person!

Beautiful boutique property in a historical building. Excellent location, walking distance to many attractions. Meeting point for tours we took were close by, which made it very convenient. We had a fantastic room on the fourth floor looking out at the trees lining the avenue and the hillside beyond. Great staff, beautifully renovated old building, super breakfast, good location......Not much could have been better. Front desk was most helpful in arranging for a guide, rental car info and touristy information. Very fairly priced for what this hotel has to offer.

I stayed at the Heritage Ave Liberdade (HAL) with my wife and two daughters for four nights - booking two junior suites. We had a great stay, to be sure...but I stopped short of giving the property a '5' for a couple of reasons. The hotel's booking website works great and the hotel acknowledged the booking within a couple of days; a great gesture. They arranged the airport transfer and offered other concierge services; another nice gesture. However, despite my telling them that we would be 4... Read more

Stayed here for four nights in June, and used the hotel as a base from which to explore central Lisbon. The hotel is ideally sited for this, with many of the sights within walking distance. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was buffet-style, with very fresh food. And although the hotel does not serve lunches or evening meals, this does not make for any inconvenience given the plethora of good restaurants nearby. One nice ... Read more

The hotel was exactly what I needed after a 5 week boat trip across the Atlantic. The other positive reviews were spot on. I was greeted with a warm smile and welcome. The room was comfortable and peaceful. The hotel is located within a easy walk to great restaurants and sights. The front desk even helped me find a barbershop so I could get a haircut. In the early morning the hotel called a taxi that was waiting to take me to the airport. If in Lisbon again, I would pick this hotel.

The staff were particularly good - very helpful with check-in/check-out, local information, history of the hotel, bar service, etc. Loved that they offered breakfast in the lobby until noon. Breakfast was a great way to start the day then we would go out for the day, come back to freshen up, then heading out for dinner/nightlife.
