We stayed at the InterContinental in Lisbon for four nights in November. Our room was excellent. It was spacious, had a king size bed and comfortable arm chairs in which to relax. The service was good and always friendly. The buffet breakfast offered plenty of variety, including hot and cold dishes plus a range of fresh fruits. The staff were also happy to take orders for eggs cooked as you like them. It was my birthday whilst we were there and to our surprise, we returned to our room that day t... Read more

I attended a meeting with my company at the hotel. The venue was OK , the staff were welcoming , lunch was good. At dinner , a great steak was served , very tasty and tender. The place looks a bit old but I was fine .

This is a grand hotel in a very 80s kind of way, with lots of marble and polished brass in public areas. Staff here are excellent, particularly the doormen who remembered me and my family. There was always a queue to speak to the concierge which is a big irritation with an otherwise excellent service- I contacted them before my stay and arranged babysitters and a meal out one night. Rooms are a reasonable size but not quite as spacious as I've seen before in this city; they are decorated very p... Read more

John and I love to use our IGH points and earn more so we often check out their properties. When visiting Lisbon it is important to stay at a place that is centrally located and one that provides a place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Located between Eduardo VII Park, Marques de Pombal Square and the luxurious Avenida da Liberdade, InterContinental Lisbon has all that: location with an ambient atmosphere. With warm refinement, contemporary design and expansive views of the Tagus River... Read more

Further to our recent visit to this hotel and have visited the one in Madrid. Unfortunately, we found the service in the club lounge area too confusing and that the staff should be more professional when speaking to customers. We found the layout at breakfast time too tight and you felt that you were sitting on top of each other. I suggest that the staff are re-trained, and to look at the layout of the club lounge area. Overall the food in the restaurant is fantastic and of a good standard. ... Read more

Spend two nights here. Check in was nice. Charming reception staff. Breakfast was ok but waited too long for coffee. Bar was fancy with nice atmosphere. Two Elevators were out of order - waited more than 10! Minutes to get Down in the Morning - not what you would expect in this segment og hotel. Location is boring (no shops close buy - just traffic and the park (view from park was nice though).

We booked an executive room with river side view, and got a room on the 12th floor. We can only see a very tiny piece of river from the room. (searched for a while and finally found it!) Other then that, we were pretty happy with this hotel. Good value with good services. The metro is about five min walk from the hotel. If you go to Sintra, you can take the metro (two stops) to the train station. If you take Uber to the train station it only costs 4-5 euro.

Stayed here for a weekend in November to celebrate wife's birthday Location is not too far from airport (10 euro cab) and close to great shops and restaurants on Ave de Libertdad. Staff was very friendly at front desk and concierge. Lounge on first floor is relaxing but could offer longer happy hours and Sekt at breakfast. Breakfast at restaurant is a free for all and quite noisy and fairly uncivilized. Bar is straight up weird with freaky people working there. It has a weird vibe and afte... Read more

Had a night in Lisbon for work; the InterContinental is well located and connected. The room was modern and large. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. All at a decent corporate price, compared to many other European cities for business travels. Would stay again if/when in Lisbon

The staff is terrific. We had a problem with a cab driver and the hotel staff was their to help. They felt bad about our experience through no fault of theirs and up graded our room. They pointed us in the direction of a wonderful local place to eat. This hotel is in the heart of the city and close to the hop on hop off bus stop and within walking distance of the major shopping boulevard.
