We only had one night in this cute little hotel but it was a good one. Room was good size, comfortable and very quiet. We were surprised to find the breakfast room almost full since we had heard no one in the hotel. Breakfast was a very nice buffet and had a coffee machine where you could make coffee any way you like. The location was perfect for walking into town. The staff was helpful in pointing out restaurants either in town or just around the corner. I can recommend this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights in room 128. Good clean room on second floor at the end of the corridor overlooking the pool. The staff is very service minded. The hotel is located just short walk out side of the old center of Lagos. The price we paid for the room was including a good size breakfast. All in all a very good experience.

We have just spent 8 nights at this lovely small hotel. It started with a warm welcome from the hotel staff. We stayed in a classic room with pool view which was a good size with a nice balcony. There was a kettle and mugs to make a drink but you need to bring or get your own tea & coffee & milk also a small fridge which was good to keep milk & fruit in.The breakfast room was a very short walk and set-out lovely with a very good choice on display. The young ladies in the breakfast room are very ... Read more

We stayed in a room that was not in the main hotel but over the road - it was actually quite nice to be there though. The room was a good size and comfortable with a sitting area by the pool. As the weather was not great we would have liked proper curtains, to make the room a bit more homely, rather than the net drapes and shutter which just made the room dark. It's a small thing though. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful - recommended some lovely restaurants. Breakfast was great - a g... Read more

Stayed at the Dom Manuel on 23rd April for a week with our golfing party of 10 guys. This was our 3rd year at this lovely family run hotel and we reserved all our rooms in the annexe across the road which has excellent bedrooms within a gated area with it's own pool and sun lounging area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, lovely breakfasts, exceptionally clean and only 10/15 min. walk into the centre of the town and marina with local bars and restaurants within 2/3 minutes. We had a great stay at the Dom Manuel Hotel. The Location is great with only being a 10 to 15 minute walk to the city centre where there are lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. The room was very clean and was a good size with a seating area overlooking the pool. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was great with lots of variety. We would definitely stay here again.

On returning to this hotel for the second time it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly and so helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and checked daily and the breakfast has a vast choice for all tastes. The location is ideal, near to the beaches and Old Town but in a quiet position.

My husband and I loved this hotel, it is beautiful, such attention to detail., full of character. The rooms are immaculately clean, bed and bedding is fantastic quality, so comfortable, the shower is great too and all furnishings are of high quality. The location is fabulous, only 8 minutes to old town, the restaurants in local area are top notch, you really felt that you were holidaying with the locals. The Dom Manuel hotel is in a great location. It is around a 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Lagos. The hotel is spotlessly clean and offers a wide variety of different types of food at breakfast so that everyone is catered for. Some of the rooms overlook the swimming pool and others the city of Lagos. There is a part of the Dom Manuel that isn't joined on and you have to go through a single security gate to get to it. The swimming pool is quite small and there are only around 12 sun beds a... Read more

Stayed for one week in room 124 overlooking the pool. Could not fault this charming hotel. The staff, service, room and grounds are stunning. The bed and linen are of excellent quality and we slept soundly every night. Breakfast choice was amazing. Hotel is in excellent spot only 10 minutes from castle walls. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be returning in the near future.

We recently had 10 day's at this wonderful hotel, the staff were fantastic the location was perfect for the old town, about a 10 min walk and with a bus stop outside the hotel you could get to other parts of the area with ease. The pool area is small but we never had a problem getting a lounger and it was always clean. the only problem is if you are on the second floor you have to take your cases up 4 flights of stairs but once you are over that problem you will enjoy your stay I am sure

We arrived very, very late due to our flight. Well after the hotel reception had closed at midnight. Bernadet was wonderful and was waiting for us to help us to our room. Sadly I did not get the name of the wonderful driver, who picked us up from the airport after waiting 6 hours. He was very welcoming and kind. Jessica and other reception staff were lovely and so were the breakfast people and cleaner, who were/was very helpful. As I said, the staff were wonderful! Our room (003) was large,... Read more

This is an adult only hotel, it is quite close to the Dona Ana beach max.10 min walk, but it has a really calm and relaxing pool area, so we mostly stayed there. Oxana and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cleaning of the rooms is very good. The only thing which is a bit strange is that they serve cocktails in really cheap plastic glasses. They could get some reusable plastic cups which feel a bit more like glass, for use by the pool. I also think it's strange that you're not ... Read more

We spent last week at the Dom Manuel and absolutely loved it. Jessica gave us such a warm welcome, spending a good 10 minutes introducing us to Lagos and the hotel. We had an excellent reception at the Dom Manuel and were shown to a beautiful room, equipped with everything we needed. There was a lovely drench shower with plenty of hot water.
