We spent there a beautiful week. Our room including the large terrace and a spacious bathroom was sufficiently big, comfortable and generously equipped with everything one can imagine in a 5* hotel. We of course appreciated the fantastic view at he Atlantic Ocean day and night, not only from our room but also from the hotel terrace at which we enjoyed an excellent breakfast thanks to an extremely rich buffet and very friendly service. Stayed in this hotel for a week and was really impressed! The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean and very well equipped. Staff were courteous and always available to help. I would highly recommend this hotel and if there were 500 hotels in the area, it would still be number 1.

Excellent hotel. Very helpful staff who goes above and beyond. Very safe, though having to use your key card to get through every door can get annoying. Close to several beaches. Great food. Excellent staff. 40 minute ride to Lisbon downtown centers. 30 minute drive from airport. Overall a great hotel, but the staff is really what makes this place wortj every penny you spend

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful InterContinental property. Spectacular sea view from the room which overlooked Estoril and Cascais. The hotel is well maintained and has an elegant although relaxed feeling. Excellent breakfast buffet overlooking the sea. Less than 100 meter from the hotel there is a wide and beautiful seaside walk which takes you to Cascais. After a few busy days exploring Lisbon my husband and I headed to Estoril for some well deserved rest and relaxation. The hotel is located along the ocean promenade, a short walk to Estoril or Cascais (10-15 minutes). We rented a bicycle and went on a unforgettable bike ride along the coast and cliffs - truly memorable. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was great, with a huge selection of buffet and a la carte items. We tried Atlant... Read more

I stayed here on a business trip for two nights. What a fantastic experience! I was sadly ill prepared and didn't have swimming shorts else I'd have loved a swim in the pool! The rooms are huge - king size bed, a writing desk, a comfortable chair to read in, multi-coloured lights in the bathroom! Each room has a sea facing view as well as it's own balcony area with seating and another table. The first round of drinks in the mini-bar are also complimentary, as is the valet parking! This is a recently built small hotel of about 50 rooms over the bottom three floors of a building, the top five floors of which are condos. It is situated between Cascais and Estoril both of which are about a level fifteen minute walk along the seafront. There is also a train which runs in front of the hotel to both places, the station being only a few yards from the hotel. Being electric, it is very quiet and not at all intrusive. Our recent stay was was our second visit to the ICH Estoril having stayed there last September. The excellence of our latest experience began with the warmth of our welcome, being greeted as returning friends and immediately being addressed by name, by many members of staff who knew us from our last visit. There are only 59 hotel rooms and the rest are owned apartments. The hotel is about one year old and has been designed to optimize space and views of the water. In fact it about 100 meters away. We enjoyed our stay at the InterContinental very much. We arrived quite early in the morning, having flown in on a red eye, and the staff was kind enough to put us up in a temporary room to rest until our room was ready for us. Excellent breakfast and delicious, though quite expensive, cocktails. Fairly easy to get into Lisbon by train, since there's a stop within a very short walk from the hotel. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Pool attendants go out of their way to make you comfortable - with dry towels after your swim, putting umbrellas up or down, and serving food/drinks. This hotel is contemporary and in an excellent location across from the ocean and next to train station and near downtown. The room we had was very well maintained with a large outdoor deck over looking the ocean. The bed, shower and other room facilities were very tasteful and up to date. Who knew Portugal was so lovely? Glorious sunrises and sunsets captured from the balconies. Delicious meals, and gracious service. A short walk to Cascais, a delightful seaside resort. Heavenly holiday!
