Plus points - The room here are basic, but clean. There's a fridge in the room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lunch and dinner menus are good and the food is tasty. Service is great. The beds were comfy. The pool is lovely and well maintained, there were enough sunbeds to go round when we stayed in August. There are several nice restaurants and a couple of shops in walking distance - the Tapas bar being a favourite, although it's not open on Saturday evenings. There are 3 lovely b... Read more

We stayed for 10 days on half board. The staff were fantastic (so helpful and nothing was too much for them if you needed anything). We never bothered to eat out because the evening meals were of such high quality .... (if the set menu wasn't to your liking then you could choose from the 'a la carte menu'). We stayed in room 106 very quiet and the balcony was very shady in the early evening.Lovely beach (Castello Beach) a short stroll away and taxi's into Albufeira cheap. Local buses available a... Had a great time at this Basic but very clean Hotel, Staff Friendly and helpful, Breakfast not the best, evening meals adequate but quite location made up for that, a few good restaurants near by, Three Beaches a stroll away, Bus stop at the top of the Road to Albufeira and the Marina. If your after a Quite Relaxing Hotel then this is up there for you.

The location was perfect for us, quiet on the edge of the countryside a short stroll to some of the best beaches I've seen. Torre Velha was just up our street, clean rooms with efficient cleaning staff. All of the staff were very helpful and cheery, Marta, Sylvia, Maria and Bruno and reception lady. Nothing was too much trouble, meals were lovely and reasonable bar was good value. Breakfast was continental but that suited us. Pool area was intimate where you could feel at home. Fantastic coastal... Read more

The location is excellent for a quiet holiday. Near to beaches and restaurants but not a lively location. Need a car if you want to see more and do more. Rooms are basis but acceptable certainly for the price you pay. Breakfast is a very basic DIY affair but the evening meals are quite good. If on half board the choice is limited to a given starter like soup or garlic bread. the main course is from a choice of two usually a fish [swordfish, tuna ,salmon] and a meat or pasta. There is a choice of... Read more
