We had booked to stay for 5 nights in October , checked in late on night of arrival and we checked out first thing the following morning .... What an absolute dump ... We had booked and paid for a room for 3 adults , 2 beds were fine the 3rd a 6 year old child might be lucky to fit in it , I asked the lady at reception if she had paid good money, like we had would she accept that bed for 5 nights ( based on the fact we were all 5ft 6 ) to which I was told ... I would if I had no choice .... not... Read more

Worst experience of my life! The structure is not even that bad from the outside and the location is really good but I forgot about all those positive points when I woke up in the middle of the night feeling itchy everywhere and as soon as I turned on the light surprise surprise..The bed was full of bedbugs! Disgusting, something I will never forget

Stayed a few times, mainly because of the location to old town . Fine hotel, no issues, plenty of terraces to laze about, small pool to cool off. Make sure you can get to your room by lift, if not on low floor. I'm getting on a bit and had room I had to walk up 2 floors, if you look at hotel photo, it's the window at the top, room was excellent though. .

As in the title the good thing about this hotel was the location, 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants in old town. We had asked for a high floor room with a pool view when booking but this was totally ignored, we talked to people who had booked after us and they had got what we asked for. We were put in a dingy first floor room with the window facing a wall, we asked to get moved ant they give us the room above on the next floor at least there was no wall but we were looking into a local famil... Friendly staff and no problem to print airline tickets. Close to old town square but no noise. Rooms cleaned daily. I left money on bed one day when I went out and cleaner put it all together and put it on table in room, how honest is that. The girl in reception has worked in a couple I have stayed in before and is always happy to help and smiling. If this hotel was open at new year I would have stayed at vila recife. I will stay there when it opens back up for the new season. I would just like ... Read more

We stayed here for 11 nights in October. When I booked in April I emailed to request a room on a high floor facing the Town (no reply) When we arrived we were given room 213 (below reception) I did ask if we could be moved and was told to ask maybe tomorrow or the next day. Didn't bother as we felt the girl was just not interested in helping. The room was tiny and looked out on to a side street, balcony with room for one chair. Very basic and in desperate need of upgrading. Maids were in every d... Read more

We have just returned from our stay here. It was clean and a great location, with friendly staff. However it is very basic - we had to ask the reception to borrow a kettle and the breakfast has a very poor selection. I'm a coeliac and luckily bought some crackers with me and my breakfast consisted of cheap cheese, crackers, cheap orange juice and I gave up trying to have a decent cup of coffee. Saying that, we cannot fault the hotel on its cleanliness and even managed a trip to the pool. Althoug... Read more

Hotel was more like a hostel. It had a pool on ground floor but no amenities, you had to take own drinks etc . Beds & towels were changed regularly, staff were pleasant but floors in bedrooms could have done with a good clean. There were 2 roof levels with sunbeds which were pleasant and lovely views but again floors could have done with a good clean and sunbeds were tatty. This hotel could do with a lot of TLC. Really the only thing good about it was that it was close to the old town.
