We've visited this place together with my wife and both gave 5 points. Advantages: 3 minutes walk from Central Railway Station, 10 minutes walk from Old Town, rooms clean and comfortable and all of these for 40 USD for night.

Hotel close to the trainstation and only a 20 minutes walk to the city center. Nice hotel, friendly receptionists. Breakfast a "simple" buffet but more than enough choice. Price/quality is more than OK. A good choice if you travel by train (which in itself is also a good "green" choice. ;-)

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days over a weekend. Very easy to find as the bus from the airport drops you close to the station and it is a short walk from there to the hotel. The hotel has been recently refurbished and the decor was in good order. Excellent bathrooms with lovely showers an lots of hot water. Most rooms are twin bedded although in some cases these had been pushed together to make one large double bed. The rooms are equipped with good airconditioning, kettles, mugs and hairdrie... To begin with, the USP of the hotel is that it's located on a perfect location: close to railway and bus stations. The rooms are fine as well, however the receptionist are rather very rude. We were kept waiting for checking in for approximately an hour, despite being there post check in time. The receptionist's paid no attention to any of the requests and were not interested in helping out with anything. A real disappointment.

The Piast is an ideal hotel to use, its location is opposite the cities railway station and just a short walk into the city centre which makes it an ideal base to explore Wroclaw. The rooms are ok with everything you need and the bathrooms are very well decorated. A nice touch is complementary bottled water every day. Another bonus is the hotels free wifi that works well throughout. The only downside is that the tramlines are just outside the hotel and you can't help but hear them, which is a pa... Read more

This is a nice hotel in a good location, I think we were unlucky to have a room on the first floor, right next to the tramline so it wasn't quiet (and the trams do keep running all night on a Saturday at least!) We didn't try the breakfast as it was extra, but we went to a great cafe called Tutti Frutti which was 5 minutes walk away and they did lovely eggs, coffees, fresh juices, and all kinds of other breakfast options, for a cheaper price -so would definitely recommend this. Shower at the hot... Read more

Great for onward travel, being literally just across from the station. The room was clean and modern, beds were comfortable. I had asked for a room with a little extra space as my husband is currently on crutches, and this was granted. The breakfast is a little limited compared to other hotels but to be honest this wasn't really a big deal. A good pick if you're looking for an overnight stop, within walking distance from the Rynek/old town.

excellent location, very good value and surprisingly high standard of rooms. staff were friendly and helpful a downstairs or adjacent bar would have been super - giving the hotel a heart and providing a suitable place for meeting/gathering of chums

For me is more than 3stars hotel! Very good price, very clean and comfortable. Perfect location, near to the bus stop, Railway station and Old town. The breakfast is perfect! Small, but cute rooms with comfortable bed, electric kettle, very nice bathroom. Perfect WI FI

The hotel lies just opposite the central station, and with 10 min walking time to the old town. The breakfast buffe was ok, but not with so many choices. There were free wifi that worked very well, but no refrigerator in the room. There were a free bottle of water every day. The personnel was very friendly.

The hotel was renovated in 2014 so it is really newly furnished. We stayed one night in a double-bed room. The room was relativelly small, but clean and had everything we needed. The room was also equipped with air-conditioning.

Nothing you can fault about this clean comfortable hotel. Perhaps the staff could cheer up a bit and be a bit more welcoming. Other than that it is across the road from the station and we had a great room in the tower looking across to the station. Also handy to trams although none goes directly to Rynek. Not a lot of eating options near hotel but plenty in town. Nice big room, great bed and good wifi. Didn't try their restaurant. In a beautiful old building.

We went to Wroclaw for a rock concert and used the hotel as a base for a few days. Great location for transport links, a short walk to town, there was nothing not to like about the hotel really. 4 of us had a room each, working out at £25 a night. For that we got clean well equipped rooms, friendly staff and free wifi. The hotel was very busy and we couldnt get into the restaurant for breakfast, but as we hadnt paid b&b, we just went to the restaurant outside the front door.. The hotel is oppos... Read more

The airport bus end/start point is very close to the hotel, several supermarkets & convenience stores nearby, and a 10 minute walk to the historic center of town. The reception desk staff was very pleasant and also greatly assisted me in dealing with the airport about delayed arrival of my suitcase. Rooms were clean, air conditioning was quiet, and the triple-glazed windows blocked out any street noise. Breakfast was very adequate. A perfect choice for staying in Wroclaw.

We had a good last-minute deal at the Piast, although it was chastening to discover that we'd have paid even less if we'd booked direct on the hotel website. For the money it was perfectly OK; clean rooms, if a bit stark, and a bigger bathroom than any we had in three weeks in the States earlier in the year. Our room would have been even more spacious if they hadn't decided to put three beds in it. Rooms at the front get you an excellent view of the striking main station, but also mean constant... It was a last minute stay after all our search in downtown, then we had to look around the city and finally found this hotel near the Wroclaw train station. Its location is not the best in town but ok, 10-15 min walk from downtown. Nice and clean rooms, delicious breakfast. Normally I would rate 5 stars but after we paid via credit card and went back home , while checking credit card receipt, seen that they charged extra fare, dont know why. Tried to contact with them but didn't work. So be car... Read more

The hotel was clean, close proximity to the centre with a fantastic view over the main train station, overall excellent value for money! Some of the cons: Noise from trams at night, two hard single beds. Overall, it's exactly what you'd be looking for on a city break!

Picked the hotel for 2 reasons, it had air-con and it was near the station. We had a room on the fifth floor at the front. We weren't bothered by the noise outside. The breakfast was okay but plentiful, more to do with us not liking the polish breakfast selection. Staff are efficient but not overly friendly apart from the lovely chamber maid Barbara.

Staying at this hotel and recognise its value for money. Basic service is not its strong point though. Very flimsy pillows and only one provided per person. Asked for another and was told they didn't have any. I felt like saying don't be stupid of course you have one. My impression was the weren't interested in providing any kind of service. Bear this in mind when booking. If you're happy for just a cheap price then maybe it's for you. I have another two nights here so it may improve

Excellent hotel in a great, central location, especially for travelers, which arrive at the station of Wroclaw, which is itself an attraction. For travelers from the airport take the bus to the terminus and after this about 5 minutes on foot. Unfortunately some large groups (f.e. german groups), which cause on arrival and departure some waiting times. Very friendly, multilingual staff. Particular attention for the historical building, that was completely renovated. Beautiful high ceilings, co... Read more

The best thing about the hotel is its location. Literally across the road from main train station. Therefore very convenient. But the rest was disappointing. We booked three nights in the better rooms in the tower, and the room itself was fine and quite roomy. We were on the 2nd floor. However the noise from the trams was annoying, fortunately the a/c works really well as you could not have a window open. The staff at check in were efficient but not at all friendly. In the room there was a ket... Read more

I was told by a local as I pulled into Wroclaw that the Piast was an historic building. It's completely modern inside now. The rooms are standard, clean, and functional. No mini fridge but an electric kettle and tea bags and instant coffee. Staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. It's across from the castle-like train station (no noise complaints here), about a 15-minute walk outside the core of the historic city Center. It's also near a tram hub, so I rode those into the Center and to... Read more

I did not stay at the hotel itself but did visit the bistro. After leaving I forgot to take my bag with me. With the help of the staff I did manage to retrieve it later in the evening with its contents intact. A very friendly, helpful and HONEST staff
