I would recommend to avoid the hotel at any cost. I stayed there for 4 days. These are the highlights of my impression: - the telephone in the room did not work for 2 days despite my requests to fix it. In the long run I had to change the room - the restaurant service is miserable - I waited for a cup of soup for 1 hr 20 min. When I called for the manager and ask3d to cancel my order I got a response that it is a normal waiting time. - there is no General Manager - it is impossible to understand... Read more

We stayed at the Golden Tulip for two nights when visiting Warsaw and found it accommodated all our needs. It's in a great location, only a couple of minutes from the tram stop, and only a few stops away from the central station. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the reception staff were polite and the check-in process was fast. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with a coffee machine and smart TV. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite bathroom had a large bath tub. The... Read more

Arrived in Warsaw on train from Krakow, took a taxi to hotel, we were 2 couples with one suitcase each & carry on bags. The first taxi declined to take us, but his friend said he would, but as we had 2 medium sized cases, which they deemed to be oversize bags we would have to pay 15 zloty on top of the fare. it was about 5 minutes or so to the hotel and the charge was 40 zloty, roughly £8 so between four of us pretty good. The hotel is set in a busy side street off the main road, nice lobby wit... Read more

Nice and warm room, clean bathroom. In walking distance of the Polish Uprising Museum, the Warsaw Central Station and a big shopping mall next to the station. Good housekeeping of the room. A few workpoints however: - The breakfast buffet was always the same. As well during the weekend as during the week. It was cold in the breakfast hall. Several guests wore a vest. - We ordered a taxi through the reception and it was double the price of the taxi we took to get back to the hotel (same traject)... Read more

What a hassle getting to the Hotel. We came on the train and though it would be easy to get a taxi. we came out of the station the wrong way and couldn't find any taxis. We tried to find them and ended up in an underground warren of shops which was not a good plan with luggage and loads of steps!!! The hotel is quite a long was out of the city centre. It is walkable if you like a long walk! Normal hotel that you get all over Europe it was a chain style place no soul. Clean, comfortable. The staf... Read more

We travelled out to Warsaw via Ryanair, On Dec 3rd 2016. A 3 day break in Warsaw to be followed by a 3 day break in Krakow. The flight was good and the carry on luggage allowance was enough even for the 6 winter days. It had been snowing in Warsaw and whilst cold was exhilarating. The taxi (pre booked with A2B) took about 45mins from the airport. The Hotel and room were a little out of centre, approx 45 min walk to the castle. The hotel was a good 4 star. Clean rooms, with good facilities, Tea/co... Read more

Overall a very good stay : the hotel is clean, very calm (no noise from outside or from the corridors) and very adequate to a business trip. The bed is comfy. I wish the breakfast buffet was a little bit more attractive, choice and quality are not so good. To be noted: the hotel is outside city centre, you'll need to grab a cab to get there.

We stayed here at the beginning of December. Our flight was early and we arrived too early to check in, left our luggage and explored downtown Warsaw. When 2pm arrived we were able to check in with relative east and were given a room on the fourth floor. It was a comfortable room, flat screen TV with usual international satellite channels. Comfortable bed, reasonable sized bath, trouser press (forgot they still have them!), fridge, hair dryer etc. No negatives about the room at all, other t... Read more

Hotel is very good, staff very helpful, gave us all the information we asked for. The rooms were ok and clean, although not really cleaned that we'll during our stay just basic. We ate at the hotel on the first night and the food was excellent, especially the soup. Location was walkable from the train station, which was nice stroll after our long train journey from Berlin. As we were only in Warsaw a few days we were limited on what we were seeing so didn't get to go to the shops which looked ... Read more

What a nightmare this whole experience was. I'm not a serial moaner nags have written over 300 trip advisor reviews. The staff are liars and are very bitter about Brexit. Marcin Galazka the manager told us the British made the wrong decision when we had an issue with the hotel. When you go to a country on a business trip the last thing you need is problems and obstacles. The hotel is also quite out the way and isn't in a nice area. BRITS AVOID.
