The hotel is located very close to the tram and city trains so moving around town from it is quite easy. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the shopping mall so eating and shopping from there is not a problem. Hotel rooms are pretty good and the internet is alright.

The hotel is some way from the centre but, with Warsaw's public transport system, that isn't a problem. It's fast efficient, cheap and clean. Close to the Uprising Museum- which is well worth a visit. Old Town, via tram, metro and bus, around 1/2 hr at 7.50 zwoties ( £1.50) for a 24 hr ticket

Room was large with a modern bathroom and it was very clean. A kettle etc was provided which was a bonus, also offered free wi-fi in rooms but it did drop in and out a bit. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel onto a very busy road but we had an us disturbed night and slept well in comfortable beds. Overall the hotel looks a bit tired in places but the staff are helpful and very efficient with excellent English. The hotel is at least a 40 minute walk away from the centre but tram and bus st... A conference put me up in this hotel while I was delivering a keynote. I'm delivering this review as a traveling business woman with a husband back home in the USA. Here goes. * The Good * Room has a desk, great for doing work on your laptop. Reasonable number of outlets. Nice shower and updated bathroom. Comfy bed. Nice positioning of reading lamp. Super quiet courtyard room at end of hall meant zero late night noise disturbances or early morning wakeups. Brilliant. There was a plastic electr... Read more

Rooms are large and clean but in need of some TLC. The entrance and reception gives you the impression of a basic hotel and, essentially, that is what it is. It describes itself as Warsaw centre but, as it is so far from the castle square, I can only assume that there are more than one centre in Warsaw. Not the nicest of areas with few tourist attractions around. I think that this hotel is more suited to a business traveller than a tourist.

We stayed at Golden Tulip for 3 nights. It is a very cheap hotel, considering it's quality. Very easy to find and ideally located next to a tram station from which you can easily get to any part of the city. Rooms are quiet and comfortable with a bathroom as good as could be expected for the price. Allowed us to leave our bags once we'd checked out (as our flight wasn't until the evening) which was very handy. Wi-Fi decent, although had to keep logging in. Only negative was that they gave us a t... Read more

Nice hotel, plenty of transport at the nearby intersection which would get you anywhere in the city. We thought it might be a bit noisy but it wasn't, rooms very comfortable. A huge shopping mall a 10 minute walk away.

A group of four of us stayed here for three nights. it was very reasonably priced and ideally situated near the centre of Warsaw. The staff were friendly and helped us find places of interest in the city and booked a taxi back to the airport on request. Both the continental and hot breakfasts were very good. There was always a taxi on hand to take you further afield. WiFi was very easy to connect to and it was available throughout the hotel.

Quite a tired hotel , mattress and pillows have seen better days - very uncomfortable .Shower/bath , if showering water finishes totally wetting the floor , no lip at the bottom of the shower screen . A/C not good - room too hot - road noise from traffic if you have windows open . So you either have a very hot room or the windows open either way very little sleep . Breakfast was ok but evening meal not good . Room not cleaned very well at all , glasses still in same place and not cleaned . Would... Read more

This hotel was pre-booked for us. We were a little concerned after ready the negative reviews. However we were very pleased with our 3 night stay. Reception & all staff very helpful, we requested a change of room due to it being on a low floor and opposite the lifts with an interconnecting door. This was no problem whatsoever and we moved to a room on the 7th floor within the space of 5 minutes. Breakfast was excellent, also had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was lovely & reasonably price... Read more

I usually choose hotels away from the buzzing / noisy locations and this one is proven to be a good choice . I rather travel to the active touristic areas and seclude to a quiet location to rest well. Closed to the train station by two rail train stops but away enough to be affordable and still provide quality mattress, linens, toiletries, flat tv , spring bottled water , mini fridge , good tea kettle with quality teas selections and coffee. The staff is kind and attentive. I needed band aid for... Read more

I took my husband there for a 3 night stay in June for his birthday and the weather was great, hotel clean and lovely, welcome staff attentive and tried their hardest to complete a special request for his birthday. The hotel is easy to get to, either walking, bus, tram or train. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The wifi was a let down as it dropped in and out, very often when it dropped out you could not find it again for ages and you'd find yourself wondering about the ro... Read more

Room is fully equipped including a kettle, a refrigerator, safe & a large Smart TV. Breakfast was rich and tasty with a variety of options. The only drawback was a lousy to none Wi-Fi reception on the 5th floor but a good Wi-Fi service on the 7th floor and on the public areas. Clean rooms and a polite staff that is always willing to help. I've been to many hotels worldwide and I can clearly say that the Golden Tulip Warsaw gave us a very good value / costs.

We stayed there in our Eastern Tour with Cosmos. The hotel was very nice and the room was comfy. The food was ok. You get to walk to the city and enjoy the night life in the surroundings. The hotel is near different nice areas so you should pay a visit once there.

Plastered with a wide grin on my pale face, I was excited to embark on a fruitful and long anticipated vacation on my second trip to Warsaw when we walked through the doors of the Golden Tulip hotel. At the desk we were greeted by a clerk who informed us that our reservation had been inexplicably cancelled, even despite the fact that I had called just two days previous to confirm that the booking was still valid. We had not issued any cancellation whatsoever. Our queries into the matter were su... Read more

A very good hotel. We enjoyed our staying in this hotel. The hotel is clean, and located near to the center, it's far from the airport about 10 minutes. We enjoyed walking near to the hotel, there are many shops where you can buy food. The breakfasts was delicious. We stayed for five days, and we really enjoyed. Except the first night, before we get to the hotel we sent email and asked them to get two connected rooms, because we have two children under five, and when we arrived, they give us two... Read more

Hotel clean comfortable and accessible to the city centre with a 20 min walk. Breakfast very good options good restaurant and sitting areas outside. Tram, bus and train stops very close to hotel although always busy we used ubers for all our travels into the city and old town. Extremely cheap and reliable for 4 of us!! Would highly recommend them to get around. The uprising museum is within walking distance from the hotel very well done and definitely worth a visit!

Stayed three nights while visiting Warsaw. Clean pleasant hotel with reasonable views over the city from our third floor room. Excellent selection of food at breakfast with friendly staff. Reception desk staff were most helpful in assisting, arranging tours and obtaining taxis (well done Joanna). Taxi into the old town was around 20-25 zloty (£4-5) although trams and buses are everywhere. Excellent mainline rail link to all cities over Poland a few hundred metres from the hotel, as was a bureau... Read more

The Golden Tulip is clean and comfortable and located reasonably close to the city centre of Warsaw. But the modern city centre is not the main area of interest for tourists and the Old Town - with it's rebuilt recreated medieval streets and town square - is a bus or tram ride away.

Submitted on 15-10-2016 how I would call it if it were clothes. Thr hotel is located close to the central railway station and close to the airport bus stop. I booked it because I spent a few days in a Golden Tulip in MiÄ?dzyzdroje few months ago and thought it will be similar standard. Wrong - it is NOT an apartment hotel - my fault, should read better. Arrived on the first Saturday of October for a few days in Warsaw. Pleasantly surprised to find a large, clean and comfortable room, and after a mix-up with our travel company, they apologetically supplied the extra bedding my friend and I requested. Bathroom was clean and large and always had fresh towels, similarly the tea and coffee tray was always replenished overnight. The bar, whilst small, was comfortable with a wide range of alcoholic drinks and the breakfast bar in the mornings catered ... Read more
