We stayed in the Hetman Hotel for 2 nights. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful and check-in was quick and painless. We had a massive smoking room, with a balcony. I believe the hotel is a converted tenement building hence the spaciousness of the rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was satisfactory with something for everyone. The only negative was that the shower head/pressure was dismal and a huge negative for us. The hotel itself is in Praga which ... Read more

The Hotel Hetman is my choice for good value and comfort in Warsaw. It's got an old fashioned feel to it, is very clean, has a lift, and a luggage cart for ease of moving baggage in and out. The staff is pleasant although some of them are not particularly proficient in English. The buffet breakfast (39 zlotys, about $14.) is not to be missed. The dining room is airy and light. The buffet is quite beautiful and extensive. You can eat light or eat hearty and the choices are extensive. This ... Read more

Hetman (NOT HITMAN) is a nice hotel, situated in the center of Warsaw. I got quite a big room with a balcony on the 4th floor. There was some noise from the road, but overall the room was tidy with a double bed, kettle, free WI-FI (please ask for the password at the reception), huge bathroom. There is a TV, coffee, tea, some mineral water they will not charge for. The price for 1 night was 260 PLN which is relatively cheap for such quality hotel. Breakfast was nice... wide variety of food to ch... Read more

Clean room, comfortable bed, big bathroom, easy access to busses, trams and underground, friendly service and a great breakfast to start the day (smiling staff everywhere), great location, definitely a place to stay next time in Warsaw.

The hotel was in good location. Staff friendly. Room was fine. A few noise-y guests (not hotel's fault (who apparently do not know the meaning of quiet hours)). The hotel smelled really good. My one and only complaint. When I booked the room it said "breakfast included" I gave them mine and my travel guests room numbers and we went about breakfast three of the four mornings we were there. Come to check out I had to pay 78 Euro for breakfast. Seriously?! I also checked out at 4 in the morning and... Read more

I was there three nights last September for bussiness reasons. There were traide fairs on National Football Stadium in Warsaw, so I choose this hotel because of close location to the stadium. Rooms are ok, breakfast are ok too. Very good quality for good price. I selected this hotel becasue of location which was the most important factor to me.

The Hotel Hetman really has character - it has old world style and the building is beautiful, but it has all the modern facilities and has been recently renovated. It is well located on public transport routes, with the station and Old Town easily accessible by bus and tram. The rooms are big and clean, and the bathroom was very good. There is also a big communal seating area in the foyer. Breakfast was a good spread and much more than expected in Europe. There is however no airocn and the str... Read more

After a long international journey, we were grateful to be permitted to check in early to a comfortable and spacious room. We delighted at the balcony and view. The amenities were sufficient and generous. The staff was quiet, but friendly- like the other lovely Polish people. One caution: there are no coffee shops in the area that open before 10am, so plan accordingly.

Gloomy narrow rooms filled with cluttered oldish furniture. No air condition and no fridge. In the summer you can not spend the day inside because of the heat. Spooky lobby, indifferent, unfriendly staff. Tolerable breakfast. Not worth the price and the three stars.

In the summer you need to keep windows open, as there is no air conition. Noise from streets, noise from the ventilator if you have a room which does not face the street. Sleep can be very disturbed or impossible. Smelly toilets.

I had a nice room. The staff was good. Room was clean. It is very accessible by mass transit. I took a tram right from the Warsaw Central NA train station to a stop very close to the hotel. You can also take a tram to the Old Town. I had their breakfast a couple of times, it was okay. This is a good hotel, I would stay there again.

I spent one night here as part of a G Adventures tour. Location wise the hotel was very conveniently located. It was a short bus ride (only 4 stops or so) from the main railway station. There was also a tram stop a short distance from the hotel which would take you across the bridge and in only one stop you were in the heart of the beautiful Old Town centre of Warsaw. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were well appointed and there were tea & coffee facilities in the room. The ar... Read more

We chose this hotel for price, location and its reviews. We wet not disappointed, a short stroll to the tram stop and in 5 mins your in the old centre square. Trams are very frequent and very cheap. The metro station is just as close if you want to go down town. The room, shower and breakfast were faultless. The staff weren't the most communicative, but were helpful when asked. Next door but one there is a very good well priced restaurant.

I had stayed in this hotel for one night. They don't have AC and it became very difficult to sleep in the night. Room was so small that it just accommodates a single bed and you can't move in the room.Quality of bed was not good. Breakfast was just reasonable. Hotel staff was very good and helping. Hotel is away from the old city, which the center of all attractions. I paid very high rate for the room and did not get the value. Looks like owner of this hotel is focussed on extracting maximum val... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is in a Praga (district) which is apparently is becoming the place to be, but in my opinion not yet. The hotel is very gloomy lights come on as you walk along, not an experience I like. The room itself was nice and big with comfortable beds and while cleaned each day it was a bit hit and miss. On our last day the beds were made up and nothing else. Rooms near the lift can be subject to the voices of people using the lift and can be quite annoying especi... Read more

great value for money about 15 minutes walk to the old town straight over the bridge or one stop on the tram. Great breakfast to set you up for the day too! Rooms very generously sized. Overall I would recommend
