Spent there 2 nights as a part of our visit on the car fair. As expected, the hotel was very busy at this time, therefore we spend approx. 15 minutes waiting for the check-in ‚?? I thought this will be done a bit faster anyway, especially @9PM. Additionally, there was a reception renovation being done at this time, so the temporary reception space was quite small. Anyway ‚?? staff at the reception very nice, patient and helpful. We had a privilege room, which was perfect for 2+1 family. Room was... Read more

I stayed here one night, I usually do 30+ day stints on business trips, with one night I really couldn't get a good feel of the place. But what I did find in 1 night. My room was huge, probably 700spft. But it was old and dated, not dirty, just old. Onsite parking is available. Huge bar downstairs that had a wine tasting event the night I was there. Wifi was ok. Room service was great and with the exchange to zloty so low my meal was really cheap. I actually stayed here November 2014 but tri... Read more

There is a renovation now on the ground floor at the hotel. Nevertheless check-in and check-out was fast. Privilege room is a quite big. On the upper floors you don‚??t feel the renovation. Very tasty and varied breakfast, in the restaurant a nice variety of wines. The only remark concerns the taxi which the hotel uses - the airport is 6 km away and in the morning in 1 tariff I paid 39 PLN, in my opinion, too much, but I did not have time to argue with the taxi driver, perhaps better book yourse... Mercure in Poznan is a very nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room had a different planning, which made it very intersting and having a good size. Modern and very clean. The bed hard, which I prefer. Even though the street Roosvelta is very busy, you did not notice it very much. The room was very quiet. Connections with tramway in all directions you can find close to the hotel and also very easy to reach from the airport with the bus. The only things that I think could be bette... Read more

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel in January of this year. The hotel desk personnel were very professional and spoke fluent English. The room was huge, very clean, and the bed was beyond comfortable. Most comfortable stay from all the hotels I stayed in during my trip to 3 countries in Europe. I only ate at the restaurant once for dinner, ordered the pork medallions with mashed potatoes and asparagus, all cooked to perfection. It was also very quiet at all times, which was refreshing after many sl... Read more

New look in the reception and the restaurant. I like what they have done with it. I think this will attract most guests in a positive way. Great staff as always in the reception, bar and breakfast area. Room was clean. Great to have an iron for my shirts. Looking forward to come back.

Stayed at this hotel foe 3 nights and it ticked the majority of the boxes. Decent enough room, well kept cleanliness and nice staff at reception. Only issues are drinks slightly expensive and if it's a old town destination, then it's a fair walk into the town. That said, taxi was only 30 zlotys.

We did chose this hotel as it was relatively close to PoznaŇ? Main Railway Station and we were travelling to PoznaŇ? by train. It is in a walking distance from the station thus no need to take a taxi. The hotel itself does not look very tempting from the outside, yet once inside, both the lobby and Winestone restaurant look quite nice. Rooms on the other hand could use some redecoration job done. Nevertheless they were in a good condition. We did take a hotel breakfast which was satisfactory. ... Read more

Hotel is very nice as expected for this hotel group. Personal is friendly and present when needed. Breakfast is also very nice. Just a small point: it's missing a plug at the head of the bed. It's location is very convenient to visit Poznan exhibition. It takes just several minutes walk (if weather is fine). Walking to the city center will take you around 20-25 minutes.

I stayed here in April, 2016 during a business convention while the hotel was undergoing a major renovation so I understand I must give some grace. But I am not sure I understand a hotel shutting down the stairs ( a fire hazard) during construction and having only two working elevators that held only two or three people at a time, depending on if they had any luggage with them. I was on the second floor and at breakfast "rush hour" it took me about 20 minutes to catch an open elevator to get dow... Read more

I stayed at the Mercure for conference and the room was comfortable and had a bit of space. The problems with this hotel is that the staff while friendly are not helpful . This is odd in a convention city. The hotel doesn't have a concierge desk to organise restaurants and sight seeing trips etc. Neither does the Sheraton up the road. The amenities are limited. The Winestone is a nice restaurant with a good wine list but again staff service is a problem. Though there was great young female w... Read more

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extra ordiinarly expensive compared to prices elsewhere for food. Rooms were great. I had to leave early for an important change in schedule. I could not get a refund for prepaying the room..

I would definitely recommend this hotel.Very good 4star hotel, excellant restaurant within hotel, staf very friendly. Big nice room and bathroom, very very clean. Good selection of food for breakfast. Great location near train station and near shopping center. Only downsize is that due to the air conditioning system you can't open the window. That was very difficult for me. You can ask the reception but I didn't try that.

Clean and spacey rooms, also good location. Service was good enough, wifi available and fast. There is a bar-restaurant within hotel, breakfast serving was broad in choice and enjoyable. No disturbing aspects.

I was happy to stay in this hotel again. Even without reservation I was happy to have good room for one night sleep. I was chanced to meet the same employee at the reception and have the same room as I did one year ago. Me and my family felt very comfortable after good welcome. As I was tired after long trip from the West I needed just good dinner, good bath and good night sleep. The restaurant in the hotel was good. Nothing very special but good quality. Salted herring was perfect. One thing th... Read more

We decided to stay at the Mercure due to it being relatively close to the bus and train station since we were both arriving and departing from the bus station (it's about 10 minute walk). Although not told at check-in, for which we arrived an hour early I might add, we were complimentarily upgraded to a Privilege room which was very much appreciated. The room was a handsome size with a sofa, very large comfy bed, TV and desk area with minibar fridge (we find these useful to put our water and ot... Read more

Location is moderate, just walking distance from the bus/train station. And also downtown is at walking distance. Breakfast could be better, at least with some fresh juice instead of machine made ready mixes... Rooms looks to need renowation. They are not very old but not nice up to me. Cleaning is ok and as well bath.
