Hard to fault the qubus hotel. Requested a river veiw for the 2 rooms we booked this was no problem. Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast really nice which catered for every taste and more . If you have booked Krakow for a city break you are in for a treat we had a 8 day break and loved the restaurants the market Square and the everything about the place. This hotel is perfect if you don't mind a little walk, this hotel is located by the river within easy reach to the attractions. After reading reviews on here before arriving I emailed the hotel and requested a room on the 6th floor over looking the river and they replied promptly and with a small charge had a room that over looked the river - perfect. Staff were friendly made recommendations and could not do enough to make the stay perfect. There is a small pool on the 6th floor with the most be... Read more

I would highly recommend this hotel. Our room was very clean & comfortable. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had, so much variety, there was something delicious for everyone! All facilities were of a good standard. The location was also very convenient. We could walk to the main square relatively easily, taking about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The staff were also very friendly & helpful. A thumbs up all round & it didn't cost a fortune either!

Stayed for three nights in a double room for sole occupancy; paid small surcharge for a room with a river view and old town skyline( worth the extra £20 or so). The room was slightly on the small side but very clean and comfortable with complimentary water each day. Pillows were on the soft side and perhaps should be more firm. Breakfasts were excellent , but there was no sign of the advertised omelette station. The staff were efficient, pleasant and very helpful. There is a swimming pool and g... Read more

Comfortable & clean room, however the staff do not generally react to requests or simply do not care (e.g. a robe requested was not delivered to the room). Besides watch out for invoicing procedure if you were booked via booking.com - the hotel claims of not receiving any data to issue VAT invoice from the booking.com service, therefore you need to spend more than 30 min to redo the documents manually at the hotel counter. Come back at 2pm, eventually got in at 2_25pm!!! We paid extra for breakfast which was very good, asked staff at breakfast if we could see a restaurant menu and simply told NO.. The thing I would say though is the pillows were very odd-like marshmallows in pillowcases. Also only the rooms from the third floor up have a fridge. My only issue was that the bed (it was actually two twins pushed together) wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked and the pillows are European fluffy yet flat ones. I simply asked for two more and they arrived. My room was also missing its safe, but I could live without that. Great location right on the river.

And there is a bath. You have to shower in the bathtub, for us no problem but when you are older this might be a problem. The breakfast is outstanding with a lot of choices. The location is also good. Not in the centre but close to the trams line 3 and 24 that go to the city centre. We walked to kazimierz ... Read more

Very conveniently located (Kazimierz, Juwish quarter accessible within walking distance), Qubus seems to be one of the best choice for business travellers in Kraków. Rooms are clean and tidy. A bit small, however if you are staying there for 1-2 nights - absolutely enough. Bathrooms also clean, ammenities provided but the overall experience is being impaired by bath curtain. Fitness area at top floors very nice. Gym not very impressive but everyone will find something for him/herself. Two sauna... Read more

We found this hotel adequate but would choose one closer to the old town for tourism. Good location for the Jewish quarter, but far from the old town (25 minute walk). The beds and the rooms were small, but OK. Service in the lounge was adequate, albeit a bit slow and not very friendly.

Great hotel. Lovely setting on the river & a nice little touch the free boat down the river to the old town & castle. The swimming pool & jacuzzi are very welcome after a day of sightseeing & the view is spectacularfrom there. Nice comfortable rooms great shower. Excellent service from reception & the bar. Bar food very good & reasonable prices nice dry white wine. The walk back along the river from the town is a fair stroll perhaps 30 minutes but we had lovely weather & it was very pleasant. Wo... Just returned from this hotel and found it adequate in facilities, the rooms are very small for a 4 star hotel and some of the staff could do with some customer care training, not sure if it is just their way but no one ever smiles or greets you either in reception, the bar or the restaurant and whatever you ask them they never seem happy to oblige. nice leisure centre and fabulous breakfast however one morning after entering the restaurant we couldn't find a free table so we told the girl on t... Our room overlooked the river, really pretty with the night lights. Has the most amazing pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room etc. All spotless. Pity this hotel was so far from the cities attractions (situated near the Jewish quarter),too far to walk for anyone with mobility problems.Hotel is very clean, bedrooms adequate (No toiletries supplied) beds extremely comfortable.Unfortunately the lounge/bar area is combined with the main foyer which has doors at either end opening to the outside which meant it was too cold to sit there for long even with a jacket on,would not be at all suitable for a winter break.Breakfast very good, dinner menu... We loved the situation of this hotel looking over the River Vistula. The room was very comfortable with lovely soft beds and a well equipped bathroom. The roof top pool and jaccuzzi was great to relax in after a busy day walking. We chose not to eat in the hotel and went out for breakfast and dinner each day. There are so many lovely inexpensive places to eat, especially in the Jewish quarter which was very easy to walk to. The number 3 tram stop is minutes from the hotel and it takes you to the ... Would give 3 1/2 stars if I could. The hotel is smart and clean. Gym is limited and could do with an equipment update would be nicer if it overlooked the river. Jacuzzi and pool area is clean, nice view from the 6th floor of the city. Had a couple of bar snacks and these were tasty. Only thing that let the trip down was the none response to an issue we had in the room. The window was a tilt and slide so you could open it fully. The hotel lobby resembled a rail station with staff along one side and a bar on the other . Although trying to be modern --design missed the mark paerticularly in the restaurant where the lighting got rid of any atmosphere . our room was masculine in style and the telly was so large that 50 people could hve viewed it quite comfortably. The beds were amazingly comfortable. the bathroom had just one large mirror---no help with shaving/make up for the ladies

Qubus is very comfortable. Rooms are nice, beds very comfy and fluffy so it was difficult to leave them in the morning. Room's design is very casual not so modern.Breakfast is very good, many things to choose, everyone can find something good, even on diet or with allergy. They take care if details. Service is nice and fast. Only they got a little minus when I asked for any painkillers, late evening when all stores were closed they said they don't have any medicines which is a bit strange.

We stayed here for 5 days and can't fault the hotel. The rooms are a good size and immaculately clean, the breakfast is amazing, the pool / spa is lovely and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The star turn was the little boat owned by the hotel, which we used a couple of times to get up into the old town - and the captain was very friendly and helpful too. If we come back to Krakow (and I really hope we do) then we shall certainly stay here again. Highly recommended

Stayed here with a friend in late October for 4 nights, based on reviews read on TripAdviser, and did not regret the decision. The hotel is based right next to the Jewish Ghetto/quarter - go right and your in the ghetto, go left across the bridge and your in the Jewish quarter. your are far enough away from Stare Miasto not to be bothered by the endless stag parties of a weekend, but still close enough to enjoy a brisk walk back in the evening after dinner. The hotel is outside the city center. They seem to want to cater to the business traveler but are not equipped to do so, Staff could use training on how to treat a business traveler. 10PLN for ice and you need to call room service to get it, Food is not bad but room service can take forever to receive. Rooms are good size and there is a pool and sauna in the hotel. Greatly over priced and you can find better in the city center for same or even less cost.

A very good Option for the Business traveler, as there are some amenities such as a rental car Station in the Hotel. Great breakfast offer, above the Standard of the chains with same numbers of stars. One can enjoy the evenings at the roofpool with Sauna or at the bar.
