Hard to fault the qubus hotel. Requested a river veiw for the 2 rooms we booked this was no problem. Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast really nice which catered for every taste and more . If you have booked Krakow for a city break you are in for a treat we had a 8 day break and loved the restaurants the market Square and the everything about the place. We visited austwitsch if we had our time over we would make our own way there we felt as if we're rushed round and it was hard... Read more

This hotel is perfect if you don't mind a little walk, this hotel is located by the river within easy reach to the attractions. After reading reviews on here before arriving I emailed the hotel and requested a room on the 6th floor over looking the river and they replied promptly and with a small charge had a room that over looked the river - perfect. Staff were friendly made recommendations and could not do enough to make the stay perfect. There is a small pool on the 6th floor with the most be... Read more

I would highly recommend this hotel. Our room was very clean & comfortable. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had, so much variety, there was something delicious for everyone! All facilities were of a good standard. The location was also very convenient. We could walk to the main square relatively easily, taking about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The staff were also very friendly & helpful. A thumbs up all round & it didn't cost a fortune either!

Stayed for 4 nights in a suite. a very clean spacious room and bathroom including fabulous breakfast and a lovely view over the river. Had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Great and helpful staff. 10 minute walk to Krakow central square. Excellent location on Vistula river bank track making for lovely early morning walks.

Stayed for three nights in a double room for sole occupancy; paid small surcharge for a room with a river view and old town skyline( worth the extra £20 or so). The room was slightly on the small side but very clean and comfortable with complimentary water each day. Pillows were on the soft side and perhaps should be more firm. Breakfasts were excellent , but there was no sign of the advertised omelette station. The staff were efficient, pleasant and very helpful. There is a swimming pool and g... Read more

Comfortable & clean room, however the staff do not generally react to requests or simply do not care (e.g. a robe requested was not delivered to the room). Besides watch out for invoicing procedure if you were booked via booking.com - the hotel claims of not receiving any data to issue VAT invoice from the booking.com service, therefore you need to spend more than 30 min to redo the documents manually at the hotel counter. Still I might come back...

This hotel was overall very good they upgraded us to a beautiful suite (at extra cost of course), spoiled by not having it ready when we arrived and told us to come back at 1pm, wei did this but room still not ready!!! Come back at 2pm, eventually got in at 2_25pm!!! We paid extra for breakfast which was very good, asked staff at breakfast if we could see a restaurant menu and simply told NO.. Need to.get some staff training asap

The Qubus is a modern hotel located on the south bank of the river Vistula about 20/25 minutes walk from the Old Town, however it has its own river boat which provides free transport to the edge of the Old Town and it is also convenient for catching a tram. I had a comfortable 1 week stay at the hotel with my wife in May 2016. We were upgraded for a fee to a room on the top floor (7) with views across the river to Krakow. The room was a generous size with a large bed, 2 chairs and a desk. The TV was small and the only English channels were dubbed in Polish, with Polish subtitles. There was a combined bath / shower, the bath was quite high so maybe difficult for older people to step over into the shower. The air conditioning took a while to w... Read more

Location is great, just across river from old city; 15-minute walk to castle, or to Jewish quarter, or to Schindler Factory in other direction. But lots of tour groups and business people stay here; we felt that individual tourists got lower priority. We reserved the room online in Zlotys, but the clerk tried to run the charge in Dollars converted to Zlotys, which would have been significantly more money, as the Dollar had gained value in interim. Firstly the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool and hot tub were a welcome addition when you come back tired and footsore. The thing I would say though is the pillows were very odd-like marshmallows in pillowcases. Also only the rooms from the third floor up have a fridge. Unfortunately the free boat trip wasn't operating as there is a safety problem with their boat. I would recommend this hotel though and once again I would praise the staff.

We had a double room overlooking Vistula river, on the 7th floor, which is actually the highest in the building. At first - we came into a room and had problems with a balcony door/window (there is no balcony, just railings). We made a remark to a receptionist and we got another room. Good quality, quiet, nice view, underground parking. It would be great if they had a bicycle rack in the underground parking - as we travel with our bikes on the car.
