My previous review disappeared somehow while I was typing and did not upload correctly. So here goes again. I stayed there Monday 28 March to Wednesday 30th March. Prior to my visit I called the hotel and spoke to the Duty Manager, who proceeded to provide me with all the advice and assistance I needed to make my stay perfect and ease all my concerns. The only small criticism is the limited and costly parking at the hotel, other than that it's all 5 stars. There is plenty of on street parking.... Read more

Location is great, 6 minutes to main market square and 12 minutes from the castle, walking distance to many sight seeing places in Kraków. Lots of restaurants in the area as well. However, service was so so, the tone of staff was quite 'cold' its a matter of procedure and without much of a human touch. If you would simply like a comfortable room with great location, it would be a good choice.

What is excellent about the hotel is its location. The housekeeping staff are very efficient. The breakfast is good and service satisfactory. Less said about the front desk staff the better. They were rude and took forever for any service. In the room the beds are nice and firm. Level of cleanliness was good. However be warned that locating your room in the hotel can be quite a task. It is nothing short of a maze. Also there are some rooms with no windows. Ensure you check what you are getti... Read more

My wife and I spent one night in the Holiday Inn. It is a modern, clean and quiet hotel just 10 minutes walk from the main square. It also has absolutely no charm (it felt like an airport hotel) and the staff was consistently unfriendly and unhelpful (although on the surface professional) at every contact, from check in, to asking the doorman for directions, to check out. The night we were there a minor fire broke out somewhere in the hotel and it had to be evacuated at around 11:30 PM night.... Read more

We used IHG points and found the property a little below average even for a Europe hotel. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, however, the room was small and breakfast is not included. Rooms felt old and parking is extremely limited. About 10 spots and then you are off to find a place on the street. The best part is you are across the street from the town square and the location was perfect and we enjoyed our two days here. If we had to do it again, I would probably book this a... Read more

We booked three nights using IHG points while in Poland. We were not disappointed. Staff are very efficient but not overly friendly. On check in there were no upgrade rooms available for the first night but they advised they would move us for the remaining two nights. We were happy with that as we were using points to pay. Kraków is an amazing beautiful city, but unfortunately deprived of high level hotels. But Holiday Inn is there to deliver what one would expect: a decent room, a decent bed, and consistent service. Just returned from a three night stay at this great, beautifully decorated, well equipped, air conditioned and friendly hotel. Located a five minute walk from the Old Town Square in cultural Kraków, this wonderful place to stay offers nothing less than the best of every professional, attentive and efficient service one could wish for. The high standard, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the building leaves nothing to be desired and the 'happy to help you' attitude from every level of manage... Read more

Very clean rooms, was difficult trying to find your rooms each night as the building has many elevators and accesses. My room was in the new building and was quiet and I was able to sleep soundly. Didn't have a view as my room looked straight out to another building, my colleague's room faced a brick wall which she hated. Average stay, nothing memorable, service was not overly friendly. Overall clean, well priced hotel in a fantastic location in Krakow.

Came for a 3 night stay from Friday to Monday. We were upgraded to an executive room as we are IHG members and also it was our silver wedding. The room was fantastic, huge and luxurious. The bed was a super king and very comfortable, one of the best we have ever slept in apart from our own ! We were left a card, fresh fruit and wine to welcome us, a lovely touch, thank you. The hotel is immaculate throughout and housekeeping was excellent. The location could not be better, only a 5 minute walk ... Read more

Krakow Holiday Inn Clean, modern great location Great spot a five six minute walk to the central square. Easy and safe to find your way back after supper. Close to a lot of restaurants, a mini mart like store and the market place. Clean modern good breakfast buffet. Our room on the third floor overlooked a courtyard. Beds, pillows comfortable. A huge walk in shower in the big bathroom. Lovely tile work on the walls and floor. The one strange thing which was a little odd and confusing as there ... Read more

The hotel is half block from the base of Old Town...walk another 2 blocks to the center of the Old Town for an amazing time. The Holiday Inn staff were extremely helpful, and are the 5-star hotel in quality in knowledge, attentiveness to detail, and proficiency with English. The rooms are clean and roomy. We arrived late [10 pm] and ate in the bar/smaller cafe and the BLTs were tops...very large and a good value. I'd stay here again.

How wonderful to be able to walk to the main square in just a few minutes! Krakow is a magical city and I loved being able to walk from the hotel to the square in the evening, feeling safe even late at night. The breakfast buffet was expensive but had lots of choices. The layout of the hallways was odd and there were different elevators going to the lobby and various conference areas, so I often got turned around. There is a good bank with an ATM right across the street which was convenient. ... Read more

The best part of the hotel is its location. Krakow old town and the main square are in less than 5 minute walk. The rooms are nice with new furniture (We were upgraded to executive room). I didn't expect such a nice hotel with Holiday Inn brand - I wouldn't give it quite 5* stars 4*+ definitely September 2016, traveled as a couple

We booked the holiday inn as it was a name we knew. Cannot fault the location, it's perfect for the old town and the bars and restaurants. However.... At around £150 per night it is seriously overpriced for a Krakow hotel, the cost of the hotel does not reflect the cost of everything else. The breakfast is really expensive at 64PLN (£14-£15)when you can get a full English breakfast or a lovely polish breakfast in the square for 10-15 PLN (£2-£3) It seems the hotel prices are what you'd ... Great location to the old city. You can walk to the main square. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable. The front desk personnel were very helpful in confirming our tours and rearranging some things for us. The food and beverage director, Grzegorz Ziebinski, was most accommodating. We are Canadian and were missing a drink of Canadian rye. He brought in a bottle of Canadian club for us. Way beyond what one would expect. A very memorable and positive experience. I would highly recomme... Read more

Stayed here for three night whilst on a short break to krakow. Helpful pleasant staff and good facilities. Breakfast was good, but we didn't eat in the hotel restaurant for our evening meal, so can't comment on the evening menu. We paid to use the executive lounge which was a nice relaxing environment with good quality drinks and food in the evenings The hotel arranged our trip to the salt mines which was good value and worthwhile. There is a safe place to leave luggage if you want to make the m... Read more

The central location makes it a perfect choice for staying. Sadly, it is not as shiny as it seems. Our room was nice nad clean, even though one of the mattresses was visibly stained. We deeply valued the possibility of making tea/caffe in the room. Sadly, the bathroom spoiled the positive evperience. It was dark, with a small shower unit and the water temperatur? was difficult to adjust ?? especially in the evening. What is more, the towels seemed gray, which was unlikely to be a part of the ... Just spent three nights here for business. As far from a US Holiday Inn as you could find. This is definitely 4 stars. Beautiful room and spotless. Lovely bathroom with all the amenities. Did have an executive suite but I think it would be the same in every room. Great service too.

I have been very lucky to visit many places both on business and on pleasure and it is only occasionally that a hotel belonging to a hotel group stands out from the crowd, this hotel is one of those. The hotel in its self is great, but the icing on the cake are the staff. At every stage of our visit they have been very attentive to our requirements and ensured that no stone was left unturned to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. Krakow is a great city made ever greater by this fine hotel.

Good quality western style hotel. Kind of a strange layout to the hotel. Was not easy to find my way around the ground floor or to find my room on an upper floor. But very clean and my room was near the back so very quiet. Nice common area and bar near reception. Excellent location. Very short walk to central square and market area.
