This three day break was organised by our son for our seventieth birthdays. It was booked last October but the reception seemed a little puzzled until we produce d confirmation. They were overbooked so we were upgraded to a suite. This was very large and comfortable, but the enormous bath was very difficult for my husband to use as he has had two hip replacements, we would have preferred a simple shower! It was very well sited on the main square but is surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was very ... Read more

Ignore the hype. The hotel decor is not tired, it is exhausted. Such a dated hotel. A real throw back. The receptionist greeted us wearing a scruffy cardigan. Hangers requested never materialised. Bottle opener requested never materialised. Details of a day trip requested but never materialised. A mediocre lunch outside in the square. Meagre towels. Too few of them, too small and one so worn it was full of holes. A complete waste of money. Checked out after one night of our planned three day sta... Read more

Thought we would give this restaurant a go situated in the main square, it boasts American style grill food, believe me it's more like McDonald's, got our drinks and starters all okay, then an hour and a half later after taking our menu's of the table and giving them to another table we were finally asked what we would like to order? So we went down the grill route, order came back wrong waiter forgot the fries bbq sauce was awful steak was... Let's say small, wasn't asked how we would like it c... Read more

Picked this restaurant as liked the menu advertising American grill....sadly that was the only good thing. We ordered a starter and a drink, so far so good, then we were given menu's to choose our main course, the waitress then took our menu's from us before we could order and gave them to another couple. We had to wait an hour and a half for our main course, I asked for chips with my steak, but was brought potatoes and vegetables, I told the waiter the order was wrong, by the time he eventually... Very impressed. Located very close to Main Square, but pretty quiet. Right opposite the Tourist Office/Discover Krakow, so easy to arrange tourist stuff. Very helpful staff. Good room - quite small but everything we needed. Nice dinner in the restaurant.

This is a special Historical Gem conveniently located 1/2 block from the square in old Town. This building dates back to the 14th century and has been lovingly restored and maintained in an appropriate fashion. We arrived late at the hotel and when we asked if there were 2 beds, we were told, that their information had been for a double room. However, they quickly set about to rectify this and within 15 minutes we were escounced in our lovely room. The room is lovely and spacious. The linens we... Read more

We stayed at Bonerowski Palace for 3 days. Have been to Krakow several times before and wanted to stay in main square. The hotel is older, but not palatial nor even grand. The reception area is quite small and amenities limited. My room was quite large and comfortable. However, the mattress was sub-standard. The service was acceptable, but far from excellent. Next time, I will stay again in Hotel Stary which is equally well-located while being more stylish and comfortable.

This hotel has to have the very best location in Krakow. It is located on the main square but manages to maintain peace and utter quiet. You literally walk out the front door into the square and have 100's of restaurants to choose from. It is walking distance from the Wawel Castle, the Barbican, the Jewish quarter and the Jewish Ghetto. Fantastic staff and lovely rooms. I would come again anytime!

Service was bad my daughter ordered the chicken burger it was raw we sent it back and they put the whole burger on the grill and tried to recook it including the lettuce. Spoke to the manager and he reacted like he did not even care . And they still charged for the bad meal. Would not send my dog there for a meal.

An absolutely magnificent Small Boutique Hotel in beautiful Kraków! People should know that this dates back to the 13th Century and over the years the owner has most lovingly and beautifully restored it into sheer opulent luxury! What a beautiful hotel in the very best location on the old town square. The only thing better than the hotels physical aspects are its staff. All spoke English and were always ready to give suggestions as to restaurants, activities and sights to see. Stay here-- you will love it!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. I know that some reviews said it could be noisy, but we did not hear a thing, and Poland was playing in the Euros one night! The location was perfect, right on the main square and only a slow 10 min walk away from the train station. Perfect weekend and hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights over a weekend. Room not ready on arrival but they dealt with this exceptionally well. Room was good size and bed very comfy. Air con was a bit challenged however and lighting a little dim. Very quiet despite its location. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and terrific coffee. Staff in restaurant were very good. Three night special occasion stay was farcical in parts - we did not get a room key until the afternoon before we left! Excuse after excuse after excuse. The suite (401) was tired and strangely designed although large. The air con was poor and the bathroom particularly disappointing, with a weak over bath shower. However the most unacceptable aspect was the total lack of blinds/curtains - hard to sleep past 6am! The room was also noisy at times. Location is unbeatable and breakfast was reasona... Read more

This hotel is perfectly located on the old main market square in Krakow. Only a 9 minute walk from the central railway station with direct trains to the airport. The hotel is beautiful, rooms spacious, bathrooms incl. showers very well maintained. The welcome that we received on arrival was second to none; the receptionist really made us feel welcome. The service was exceptionally prompt; when going up to our room at night we ordered some milk ready for tea in the morning and it was with us very soon after we reached our rooms. Great, central location in Kraków. Just can't complain. The rooms are really old fashioned, not in an old romantic way, but a spooky way where I'm expecting a ghost appearing through walls. Air conditioning doesn't work, you need to open the windows. Clean and tidy, came here on work, wouldn't want to spend a romantic time where though!

My wife and I visited Krakow the first week of September and stayed at The Bonerowski Palace. The hotel is located right at the Main Market Square. The room was nice (we had the Penthouse) and was decorated in the late 1800's early 1900's Polish style, most of the ceiling was glass panels. All of the staff spoke English and were extremely nice. The buffet breakfast was more than could be expected including cooked to order eggs. We did not eat in the restaurant as there were so many others right... Read more

Think National Gallery rather than Tate Modern. Traditional and tastefully designed, our suite was very spacious and noise-free. The location cannot be beaten if you want to be in the heart of things. Breakfast was good. Restaurant OK. Our disappointment was that we did not attend the much advertised Chopin concert in the hotel. We had been told just to turn up one evening and pre-booking was not necessary. Second stay here this year. Hotel has so much character. ALL the staff are really great, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are amazing. Breakfast is really nice, all the normal buffet and hot choices but also have "live cooking" options. Drinks are not expensive for a top class hotel in the best location on the main square. Sat out until late every night and had great time. Once again staff were great every time we ordered.
