The hotel is located next to the main train station, so it´s very easy to move around Gdansk-Sopot and just 10 minutes walking from the old town. Everybody was polite and very kind (Sandra from reception really nice). The breakfast is not the best but more than fine. We got upgraded to a junior suite so no complaints about the room at all :) I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is centrally located and modern in design. The staff is excellent and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. You cannot go wrong with this hotel if you are spending a night or two in Gdansk. Make sure you visit the Solidarity museum which is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

I recently spent 2 nights at this very good hotel, across from the train station. Modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good. Location is key: easy to walk to the Old Town and interesting attractions. I would readily stay there again.

The hotel is across from the train station, thru the underpass and you are there. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the Royal Way, and is also close to the solidarity sights and shipyard. It is directly in front of the bus stop for the 210 bus which takes you to the airport. The hotel is dreary and the room is dreary. The room was clean and the bed was ok. There was a coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, and soap. The shower door would not close. Wifi worked well.

This is a really nice 4* hotel in the centre of the city and walking distance from the old town. Quiet and spacious rooms with air con, mini bar, comfy beds, spotlessly clean. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We paid £240 for 5 nights so it was exceptional value for the quality of accommodation.

The location close to the rail station and the old city, makes it an ideal place to stay if you want to explore Gdansk and it surroundings. Very good breakfast and nice staff too. Good, clean room. The ladies at the reception counter are kind and welcoming, always ready to provide help and information to a first time visitor.

The staff were unhelpful and did not make me feel welcomed. The hotel is in a good location but there are a few other hotels around the city centre which are better value for money. Next time I know where not to stay.

I stayed some days in the Scandic Hotel whichis very located nearby the railway station. The room was confortable and it was so easy to wander around in the medieval city. Unfortunately the hotel looks a little bit gloomy from outside like several buildings in the city but the stay was excellent.

A very solid 4 star scandic branded hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms generous and big. Spotless clean. Cozy beds. Stayed in a very specious junior suite. I was pleasant surprised, as other hotels would probably call this rooms already a suite. Breakfast - they had everything although it was very crowded the kept the buffet clean and well stocked.

God environment but very simple rooms. Is very central in Gdansk but 10 to 15 minutes to the old city. The restaurant and the SPA in the hotel are very good. I recommend all the services in the Spa (massage, manicure and pedicure). The service in general are very good and is five minutes to a shopping.

Directly across from the Gdansk Glowny train station and shopping centre, cinema and restaurants. It is a big hotel with one of the longest hotel corridors I have ever seen, sods law we were at the end of it :-) Good value for money, the room was clean with an iron and ironing board, a fully stocked mini bar, handy :-) It was a nice walk down to the old town centre. The hotel phoned us a taxi to the airport so that we were't getting ripped off and also kept our luggage for us behind the desk... Read more

Booked this hotel through booking.com. Fantastic location close to the train station and 10 minute walk into the old town Gdansk. Highlight was definitely the breakfast and late-ish check out at 12. Only slight criticism is the pillows were quite shallow so could have done with a couple. Quiet room and very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this as a lovely hotel to stay in.

The hotel is up to the mark of 4 stars with an excellent service and very good location - near to old city and railway station, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable with very delicious breakfast. The only problem is the lack of parking.

The location is excellent. Close to the train station, close to the cinema, close to the city center. But the hotel is of average quality. Room hasn't been renovated since some 15-20 years (at least the room I stayed in). The breakfast I didnt take, there are several bakeries around the corner :-)

The location is very convenient. If arriving by train, you can take one of the underground passageways from the station, and the elevator up will leave you at the hotel's front door. The town center is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the hotel, and there are shops and a restaurant right near by. The room, however, was quite disappointing: the bed was the most uncomfortable I've had in a hotel and there were loose tiles under carpeting. I must say the uneven floor was disturbing when maneuvering a... Read more

Generally speaking - Scandic hotel is ok with nice and qualified personnel. However, to include also a minus in my review. In the back side of the hotel, there is a dumpster and in the middle of the night (3 am) they are coming to take the trash and there is a lot of noise and they wake you up.

We were a group of colleuges from work visiting Gdansk, and we stayed at Scandic Hotel during the stay. The service was excellent, as everything was prepared in advance, the food was good, the personel at the hotel helped us with transport and other things. The rooms in the hotel had a relatively high standard, the rooms for two had bathtubs. There was also a small gym and a massage spot at the hotel. All in all, our group had no complaints about the stay!

Hotel room was adequate for out needs. Very clean. On the basic side but everything you could need such as toiletries, tv with a few english, kettle etc. Meals at hotel were excellent. Huge breakfast choice and evening meals were reasonabley priced and quality was good. Hotel was well situated for public transport and easily walkable to town. All in all a lovely autumn break. I'm rating this property as excellent because it is for what I consider a very respectable 3.5 star property. The staff here was very nice from check in to the bar to breakfast. Location is outstanding, right on the bus route from the airport or right across from the train station. Why I give it 3.5 stars is that I stayed in it when it first opened and it really hasn't changed since then. Now that said, my room was not "worn" it was in incredibly good condition and spotless. Had a wonderful stay at Scandic. It was my first time in Gdansk and I loved the city. Rooms were clean and comfortable, free wifi and friendly staff. Prices very affordable. Great location, only a few minute walk to a shopping centre and to the old town. Train stops right in front of the hotel. Only downside is that the hotel bar closes early, the bar was full of people and still the staff closed it and turned off the lights. But very enjoyable stay, will come again!
