I booked the superior apartment for my sister's birthday, when we arrived we were told that it was cancelled and they can offer us smaller one for the price of superior one. My feeling was that's their way to rip people off. Would never stay there again and never recommend it to anyone.

I recently stayed at this hotel with a group of friends and I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It is located in the old town and is very close to the main bars, restaurants and with lots of interesting architecture. All of the rooms we had were very modern, comfortable and clean with all the facilities you would expect to see in a hotel. We stayed in the top floor rooms with an upper floor bedroom. The rooms were self-catering which were very modern and included a dishwasher, fridge, ov... Read more

Travelled here on a stag doo with friends, stayed for 3 nights. Hotel in great location, close but also away from the noise for sleeping, very clean also has its own restraunt serves good food as there isnt much choice of eateries in Gdansk. Rooms are of a great standard would definately stay again with friends or even with family.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now--once as a solo traveller and once with a group of college students. It really is a gem. The location is hard to beat-it's on a quiet little sidestreet--more of an alley really--in the old town, so is just steps away from the riverfront as well as the Stare Miasto's more lively thoroughfairs. The price was reasonable, the rooms were clean, and the front desk staff was polite and helpful. I'm not sure what else you could ask for.

The perfect three star hotel. Large, nice and cosy rooms. Very clean and as a added bonus for us it came with an amazing view. The price is also very agriable(very!) They serve a nice breakfasts, nothing to fancy, but good. The locations is also spot on, in the senter of the old town. As a bonus the hotel also comes with smiling and helpful staff. Great beds aswell. + There will also be spa available here in the very near future. Four great days here, and it just seems silly to write anyt... Read more

I stayed here for two nights with my parents, sister, and 1 year-old son. We were able to book an apartment, which ended up having two levels: The top level had one bedroom with a double bed, an alcove with a single bed and room for a baby cot (which the hotel supplied upon request), and a full bathroom (with a bathtub). The lower level had another full bathroom, a kitchenette, and a sitting area. It also had an air-conditioning unit, which worked great. Everything was clean and looked very mode... Read more

Our 4-day stay here was OK. On the plus side: The location of the hotel is unbeatable, with walking distance to most main sights and a lot of nice restaurants and bars in the area. Staff in reception friendly and helpful. Not so good: the rooms were ok, but poorly cleaned. Stains in the shower, dusty surfaces. No ventilation what so ever so the smell/air in the room was like living in an attic or something. Refrigerator only worked when you were in the room with the keycard inserted, so quit... Read more

This little hotel is convenient to the royal way with a few quick turns you are at the river or on the main thoroughfare. The small simple clean rooms suited this seasoned traveler and the breakfast buffet included was worth it. This hotel has both wifi and a lift. However, this hotel has no a/c (as with many in the north) this led to a lot of early morning noise like flocks of really loud birds and the friendliest trash takers who all wish each other a good morning!

The location is amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful, room was not a bad size overall and those are the only good things about this place..... The beds are uncomfortable, towels are small and thin and the drain in the shower was blocked with hair which my cousin had to clean - vile as..... No air conditioning nor fans so sleep was hard and it was noisy by guests and outside noise. Ask for street side might be quieter....... No toiletries provided- WiFi is not great and no airport s... Perfectly placed in a sidestreet of Dluga. Walking distance to most of our needs. Quiet at night and large nice rooms. We had an apartment and did not regret that. Since we found the perfect breakfast place 50 meters away we did not try the breakfast. Beds are very hard and that is the only negative we can say about this hotel. Everything else was near perfect.

I was visiting the in-laws in Lodz and they thought I should see Gdansk and the Tri City region so we set out on a 2 day, 1 night journey with a room booked at Aparthotel Neptun. Driving into the old town was a little tough. The streets are extremely narrow, many are 1 way and they are overrun with tourists. The hotel has a small, dirty, free parking lot in the back which worked just fine. Check-in was very fast and friendly enough and we were off to our room on the top floor. The room was a lof... My room was large with a comfortable bed (a slightly hard mattress perhaps) and a view of St. Mary's Cathedral and a parking lot (and the bells ringing around the clock...) The room was cleaned every day, and I got clean towels (I myself prefer that I can choose whether they change towels or not, that'll be more environmentally friendly) The breakfast was ordinary and inexpensive, for me they had bag tea only, and my friends said that the coffee was not very good... I would prefer, perhaps, th... Read more

Our hotel room was like it was brand new - large, spacious, comfortable etc. The location is perfect in the old town and there was free parking for our car which was perfect. We would stay again and I can recommend it to anyone visitng the old town.

Great hotel in a great location not far from all the best things in G'dansk old town. Stayed for 2 nights as part of a stag. Rooms were very nice, with a very unique layout. Features include a dishwasher, microwave, taps and sink in a small kitchenette type area. Great views of lots of the historic aspects of G'dansk out of pretty much every window. Small bar area on the ground floor of the hotel, prices were reasonable and fairly typical of most of G'dansk. Staff helpful when booking and... Read more

I stayed 3 nights, and the best thing about the hotel is the location right in the heart of the old town. I guess you don't get a fancy new room if you book a single room, and you don't get a kitchenette - just a kettle and a larder-fridge. The one that I had was on the first floor and looked just like the one in the picture on TA with the hotel details - twin beds pushed together filled one end of the room, and the window overlooked the tree-lined street and outdoor cafe. The room was functiona... Read more

Stayed here for 4 nights in 2 rooms as a family group of 5. Staff were very helpful through booking and ordering airport taxi transfers. Rooms were spacious & clean with everything we needed. Couldn't have asked for more. Brilliantly located walking distance to all the beautiful sights. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, could not fault it.

Choosing to rate this hotel at three stars may seem a little unfair. It might be that I had too high expectations from reading the reviews here. Anyway, we spent three nights here and basically liked it very much. The price is competitive and you basically get all you need: A spacious and well kept room, a spacious bathroom, a lift and nice and efficient service at the reception. We didn't have breakfast included, but bought it at a reasonable price, which I found to be worth it. But all in al... Read more

Large room, low prices, nice staff, great location and clean rooms. What more do you need. The hotel restaurant isn't great, but who cares - eat out:) If you're looking for luxury you might want to go somewhere else, but this is a great place to stay. There's even a spa on the premisses. Recommendable!

This hotel has a great location. Next to St Mary's cathedral and Neptune fountain. Nice room, clean and comfortable. I only gave it 4 stars because it's a little noisy, I could hear other guests in their rooms/bathrooms at times, but it wasn't a huge issue.

This was the first time my boyfriend and I visited GdaĆ?sk and we chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The hotel is located in a peaceful alley in the old town just a minute walk from the main street. There are also several good restaurants in the area and near to the hotel. Our room was in the first floor and it was clean, modern and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Still, I unfortunately found a few things slightly unpleasant. The room door was so thin you ... Read more

Boxed the Baltic over the Summer 2016 and stayed in large city hotels in the centre of Turku, Helsinki and Stockholm. This one beat the lot.. just a little hotel in a side street off one on the main thoroughfares it was lovely. Very cosy, very comfortable and cheaper than the others. It seems to be run by young staff and probably provides accommodation for younger people. In my mid seventies the staff put themselves out to ensure I was well looked after. Hope to go back. GDansk is beautiful!

We booked 3 double rooms and overall they were excellent value for money. Having visited Gdansk several times, we like to be based close to the old town so everything is within walking distance and the Neptune hotel did not disappoint. Rooms are very nice and very clean. They varied in size but were all good. The shower was lovely and powerful in our room. And it's just a hop and skip from the main tourist streets. Highly recommend. There is a lift for those who need it and a restaurant atta... Read more
