I had a room for one night. It was ground floor . It was also a disabled access room. It was a good size and electric sockets were well positioned as were lights. Everything was spotlessly clean in the room and in the shower/wet room equally so. The plug in the handbasin so beloved by Europeans, comprising a metal dome pushed up or down in the basin waste pipe by a wire handle, did not seat properly so the water ran straight out of the basin. If I received £1.00 for every European hotel washbas... Read more

This is a lovely little hotel well placed to explore the old city of Gdansk. Stayed there with other family members for 3 nights, and was pleasantly surprised at our choice of location. My room was at the rear, overlooking the atmospheric clock museum. Comfortable, well furnished, with good shower room, and all I needed. My sons room was at the front, but a little noisy late evening. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very courteous and helpful. I would use this hotel again if visiting gdan... Read more

I have stayed in Gdansk on two previous occasions but wanted a more central hotel this time. Hotel Artus is less than a minute walk from Dlugi Targ which is effectively the main street in Gdansk. The rooms are pleasant but not large and our bathroom was more like the size of a large ensuite. My mother in law was next door and their room had a street view and much larger bathroom, so it is just down to luck. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a little chaotic for me as members of the publ... Read more

We staying in this hotel for 3 nights. Hotel is perfectly located near the Cathedral and the main street Fountain. Next door is also one of top rated restaurants Mon Balzac. Rooms are very warm, neat and tidy, comfortable beds and clean well maintained bath room. Staff is helpful and polite. They allowed us to keep our minivan in front of the hotel, although it was reserved only for 30 min loading park.

Just simply had to come back to this nice small hotel. Hotel location is perfect and the room was tidy and nice. Service was great (thanks Violeta). Mon Balzac has delicious meals, eventhough the breakfast buffet could have been varied a bit more.

Just had 3 nights in room 108 at this lovely hotel. Tucked around the back of the main square you will find this friendly and spotlessly clean hotel with super friendly staff, spacious rooms and bathrooms and a very good breakfast selection. I had read previous reviews regarding 'The Bells' and yes....they ring. It is all part of the charm of an old town with a beautiful chiming clock, to be fair the only time we really noticed it was on our last night which was a Friday, it had been very warm a... Read more

Visited Hotel Artus earlier this week- absolutely loved my stay, it was clean, central and comfortable! Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were perfect for my stay. Only negative which is not the Hotels fault is the clock tower chimes which go off all the time in Gdansk, specifically at 7am so I suggest ear plugs!

I travelled to Gdansk with my friend and two children. The location was great and the atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant. Also the breakfast was great. We stayed in family room, which was big enough for four people. It was off season, so there was not so much tourism going on. I guess in summer the noise from the street could bother more. Anyhow, I would go there again.
