Just had 3 nights in room 108 at this lovely hotel. Tucked around the back of the main square you will find this friendly and spotlessly clean hotel with super friendly staff, spacious rooms and bathrooms and a very good breakfast selection. I had read previous reviews regarding 'The Bells' and yes....they ring. It is all part of the charm of an old town with a beautiful chiming clock, to be fair the only time we really noticed it was on our last night which was a Friday, it had been very warm a... Read more

Visited Hotel Artus earlier this week- absolutely loved my stay, it was clean, central and comfortable! Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were perfect for my stay. Only negative which is not the Hotels fault is the clock tower chimes which go off all the time in Gdansk, specifically at 7am so I suggest ear plugs!

I travelled to Gdansk with my friend and two children. The location was great and the atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant. Also the breakfast was great. We stayed in family room, which was big enough for four people. It was off season, so there was not so much tourism going on. I guess in summer the noise from the street could bother more. Anyhow, I would go there again.

The hotel faces one side of the basilica and is less than a minutes walk to the Neptune fountain. So well located. Check in was smooth. The guy at the counter also marked out a few things on a city map for me. My room keycard didn't work, there was housekeeping staff on the floor. They came helped me open the door with their card and she went down and got me a new card! Talk about going the extra mile!! The room itself however was a bit small, space was tight. you could see the tower of the cit... Read more

Lovely hotel in the centre, close to the central street and the marina. There are restaurants and bars in abundance nearby, the mono and Kos on the same street are worth a try. The hotel is clean and the staff are attentive. The staff will recommend places to go and eat/drink. My only moan was the church bells sounding off constantly, this is no reflection on the hotel. The rooms are modern with tv, wifi and a great power shower and modern bathroom. Hair drier was included in the bathroom. I ... Read more

Hotel artus was a little gem! Exceptionally clean and in the most amazing position in the old town. Sadly for us the only thing that marred our visit was the horrendous clock chimes which went off in the tower outside our room on the hour EVERY hour all thru the might so we got sleep! DONT go here if you are a light sleeper, but if you candles thru anything then this is the place!

Hotel Artus has the best location of any hotel I've ever stayed in. It is located within 3 minutes of the main street which is populated with restaurants, shops and bars. Also, the Neptune Fountain, Clock Tower, St. Mary's Basilica and the Marina are nearby. Solidarity Square is 20 minutes walk away and the train station is 15 minutes away. The hotel was well kept and the staff were excellent. Special kudos to the reception staff who were extremely helpful giving directions to locations of int... Read more

Stayed here on a stag do from Friday-Monday. It was such a nice place to stay. Large rooms with all the amenities you'd want. Very clean, powerful shower. Large sink area with shelves for storage. All the staff were friendly and spoke good English. Location perfect as dead central. Beware that the church bells go off early though if you're a light sleeper.

This is not the cheapest hotel in "Main town" in Gdansk, but you get what you pay forđ??? Just a couple of meters from Dluga Targ still away from the tourist crowd. Friendly staff and large rooms with comfy beds (except for the plastic under the sheets...) Lots of restaurants within walkin distance, including the hotel restaurant.

The location is close enough to the center of town but far enough to be relatively quiet. I enjoyed the breakfast, very good selection of savory foods. The room was a comfortable size (for Europe) and nicely decorated.

Big old redecorated house and turned into nice, small and very central hotel in Gdansk. This place is very convinient for your short stay as extended weekend trip or maybe some conference. Place is refurbished and very clean, staff is helpfull and nice and position of hotel is actually the most amazing as Piwna street ( The Beer street :))) ) is definatelly in center of center.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in September 2016. Before we left the UK I emailed the hotel to arrange a taxi to pick us up from the airport which they kindly did at a cost of 80PLN. Check in was quick & easy and were were given the key to room 413 which was a generous size with all mod cons including a fridge we could use, hairdryer in the bathroom & a tv which only showed one UK channel BBC world news but who goes away to watch tv anyway. The hotel was perfectly situated just behind the ... Read more
