I decided to book Fernandina 88 Suites because of its location (it is just in front of Alimall and near SM) and of course, the very affordable price. I booked a Deluxe 2 bedroom suite so it can accommodate all of us (3 adults and 3 kids). I was able to get a discount when I booked directly in their website. I requested for kitchen utensils because it is not inlcuded in the room. That costs P300 inclusive of frying pan, casserole, rice cooker, 6-pc. dinnerware and electric stove. I didn‚??t ... Read more

After my review last year I was hoping that the management would listen and maybe start to clean the hotel and update the rooms d√©cor and aircon, unfortunately mine and other peoples comments have fallen on death ears Ô?? The hotel is (for me) in an ideal location, the pool is small but ok for a late night and early morning swim. The rooms are outdated and need painting and new curtains would not go amiss. All the windows ned cleaning, but again my main complaint is the aircon and noise levels... Read more

I checked in again at Fernandina because they have promos which I took advantage of. My family enjoyed again as usual. Malls are just across and we enjoyed shopping. Their spacious rooms are perfect for families. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Very affordable but you will enjoy.

Surprisingly Large Rooms with Complete Living and Dining Rooms that give you privacy even when you have guests coming to see you during your stay. Fast Check in and good service. Daily Buffet Breakfast for two in a scenic restaurant looking all over the metropolis. Great Food with lots of Budget meals as well. Best of all, the only hotel I know with the largest Occupancy Limit. a Big plus for those who wish to make most of their vacation stays.

Fernandina is not a modern hotel. It is aged and the amenities need a major overhaul. It is however right in the middle of everyday life and you will be reminded of this 24/7 by constant noise. However if you want to experience Manila 'as it is' this place is perfect. Directly across the road there are 3 or 4 interconnecting malls - for which a day would not suffice. Restaurants abound and a cinema complex is also very close. What the hotel lacks in modern amenities is by far made up by the emp... Read more

Sometimes it's nice to spend Christmas away from home haha. We decided to take an affordable 2 bedroom suite in this hotel in front of Ali Mall P Tuazon Cubao. This is an old hotel so you know what to expect haha. The suite has a kitchen (with amenities), dining and sala and of course wifi access haha. So easy to buy food and gifts for Noche Buena since it's just a walk away from malls and supermarket. You should try, it's fun haha :-D

The room was old but very cozy. The bed was really comfy. Just not a fan of the bathrooms, some molds with the sink and shower floors. The manager provided a discount of 10% so that's a plus for me. Very nice and accommodating staff. More improvement on the breakfast menu please. :)

I stayed here with my colleague from office for 2 days. We needed to meet client on Ortigas Center. The hotel is classic, old but we got quite large room for twin beds, which had livingroom and kitchen inside. But, the aircon is old model, and the position is not so good (most to the floor, near to sofa and bed). TV available, but the remote was not functioned and there was only 1 channel could be viewed. Bathroom with shower and hot / normal water available. If you need to go Ortigas, you n... Read more

I booked for 7 nights including the night we arrived as we got to hotel at 3am only to find that the Reception could not find my booking even when I handed him a print out of my confirmation letter. After a long period waiting I was finally given a room after paying for my 7 nights upfront. The room I was checked into had an old foam mattress (the kind your old couch or sofa is made of) and it was facing the main street which was If the receptionist knew his hotel well enough he would have reali... My office has booked this hotel for a 3 day conference. As most reviewers said, this is an old hotel, but to my surprise, I didn't know that this was owned by an international hotel chain. The function room on the 6th floor were we had our conference was okay. We were a big group, so I first thought we wouldn't fit, but we did. Food, especially breakfast in their cafe located on 12th floor was good too, since they replenished it. Guest rooms are big. There's a sala and a dining room, and insid... Read more
