We traveled here for a company event and it was really a great place to stay since we really love their amenities - spa, pool, billiards, gym etc. We also love the food. The view was spectacular..seeing the mountains, Sabang beach and the rocky side. It is also near the port going to the underground river.

This resort is well situated on a beautiful beach and has a magnificent pool, with shallows to allow cool sunbathing and lounges that sit in the shallows. The pool bar is also a really nice spot (try the island coconut cocktail - delicious). The restaurant has a great range of delicious food. Highly recommended.

I have no idea how people can give accolades to this resort. Blew my mind. This resort is by far the worst hotel. The level of English proficiency, cleanliness, and pro-activeness are just not there, not even close! It even made me regretted staying in Sabang. The only good thing about this resort is the beach, and it‚??s not even on their effort. Let me just give a rundown - I feel like I need to detail it because it was so horrible. Getting there is the most stressful part: We stayed in E... Read more

Staff seemed very confused about what tours they had and what was or not included. Pool was cloudy during entire 5 day stay. Room was very nice but it was very difficult to get it cleaned during frequent half day absences. Virtually no wifi for me or many others I talked to, could only down load email once during my stay. In today's world with the desire to travel and the need to stay connected this is the kiss of deathLocation, broom and local tours were exceptional but far too many negatives fo... Read more

A beautiful place to be in especially if you are seeing the world-famous Underground River in Puerto Princesa. Be prepared to for a very long and nausea-inducing trip to and from the airport since the 2-hour trip (one way) will be thru zig zag roads. But with the lush forest, your eyes will definitely be enjoying during the trip. The room is okay and aircon is cold enough. Food is not that good but plenty especially in the morning buffet. Swimming pool feels dirty but beach is nice.

Sheridan beach resort is in a lovely spot right on a nice white sandy beach, the rooms are nice and clean with good bedding , the restaurant is really nice and the food exceptionally good, staff made you feel really at home , the pool was fantastic with a swim up bar between 2 really large pools , the water was so warm and clean. The beach was good for swimming also. The only problem is the distance from the city, the trip isn't the greatest, but it was worth going there for the underground rive... Read more

Worth the 1.5 - 2hr drive from the main city - Puerto Princesa. This place is Paradise. It is quite isolated but also very close to the main attractions like the Underground River Tour and Sabang zipline. This is by far the most luxurious accomodation. Highly rated! We enjoyed our stay very much. The beach and mountain views are amazing. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have their own tour desk and we organised all our activities through them - My Husband went diving which includ... Read more

Location The resort is located around 1.5-2hrs drive away from Puerto Princesa. There is a shared van at set times that costs 1000 peso round trip or private one way is 2-2500 pesos (one way) the hotel offers it at 2,800. If you don't book with them, you need to contact them but it's not an easy process. To get to El Nido is 5.5hrs drive away. The wharf (to get boat to the underground river) is a 5 minute walk away. Room The very wooden finish of my 2nd floor room was fairly spacious offering... Read more

This is a very fine resort and spa, worthy of a four star rating. The pools, rooms and food offerings were fabulous and with an ocean-front location it would be difficult to find another resort of this quality at this price! Let‚??s start with the strongest feature of this resort‚??the staff‚??who will stop at nothing to help you and satisfy your concerns! From the front desk to housekeeping and the friendly bartender, Eric, there are all smiling and gracious! The only guys who did not smile... Read more

The resort is clean, views gorgeous, and the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. However, I was expecting more from what I paid for. Published rate for superior room is about PHP8,000 and yet the room and the toilet are just ordinary. Superior room I booked does not even have a tub, just shower. TV has limited channels. The food also is very pricey, and yet ordinary. Nothing really to rave about. Buffet breakfast is also just okay. I hope the hotel management considers upgra... Read more

A great place for doing nothing! However is a lot to do if you want to! The hotel was lovely, everything close to hand and easy to access to 3 swimming pools and close to a nice sandy beach! Added bonus is the bar on the beach pier. Shopping centre around the corner too

My husband and I decided to visit Palawan. Its my first time in Palawan while my husband visited several times as part of his previous job. I got a good deal in "deal grocer" website. I am impressed with the beauty of the resort. They have a beautiful and vast swimming pool over looking a lush mountains. The room was quiet small but its beautiful as well, my only comment/s was the electricity, its on and off and to be honest there was mosquito in the room which I found very off because of d... The booking office where you get the shuttle gives a bad first impression due the uncleanliness. Everything needs a good scrub and there are plenty of staff hanging about who could be cleaing. The hotel itself is 5 stars and the staff are extremely nice and professional. Large room with king sized bed and a very comfortable mattress. The pool is huge at 340ft/ m which helps to keep it cool. There are three jacuzzis and one is made just for a single person. The spa has very nice treatme... Read more

First of all, WOW! As soon as you walk in, people rush to hand you towels and drinks. The view of the pool from the lobby is enough to take your breath away! If the pool doesn't do it for you, a couple steps away will take you to the beach, open for swimming. During our entire stay there, the staff was nothing but welcoming and accommodating. They were truly one of the kindest hotel staffs I have ever experienced in my travels. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was amazing, especia... Read more

The Sheridan is not a ShangriLa resort and Puerto princessa is not Cancun or Maui. It offers a friendly and somewhat rustic experience. Every person we encountered was genuinely committed to our enjoyment! Very clean and well maintained. Very secure without feeling paranoid. Restaurant has an extensive and cross cultural offerings. If you want to relax and take in short activities this is a nice choice. Don't come to Puerto Princessa looking for shopping, 5star restaurants or even fantastic sn... Read more

The Sheridan Beach Resort is nestled in a small beach-front area, with not very much surrounding it; a perfect place to escape for a weekend, week, month... you get the idea. My wife and I went for a long weekend back in June, and it was wonderful! The service is exceptional. The rooms are nice, and they have everything that you need. The pool is one-of-a-kind for the area, and boasts a perfect little swim-up-bar, lounge chairs in the water, a separate kiddie area, and a jacuzzi! They do have ... Read more

First time to visit Puerto Princesa, and this hotel gave us a memorable escape in Palawan! We loved their huge heated swimming pool, beachfront was nice and clean too, though it's not white sand. I enjoyed their brakfast, and they also have nice facilities with clean and spacious room. Do not expect a strong phone signal and wifi beacause this resort is two hours away from the city. It's near in the underground river, and don't forget to try the Sabang zipline.

We went to Sheridian in end of June for a family reunion. We booked pool side rooms. The property is really beautiful with the resort's own private beach. Everything including the view, the hospitality, and the facilities are worth appreciating. We managed to visit the underground river and Ziplining besides the mangrove and the ATV ride. It was a truly fun-filled and memorable holiday. As most of us in the group were vegans, the food was initially an issue but Chef Toto made our life very eas... Read more
