If no one's answering the door, don't just go barging in. That gave me a scare. Good thing I locked the bathroom door, or else the staff would've seen me naked. Geez. It wasn't like I wasn't answering the door for the whole night. Was that your protocol? Two knocks, no answer, you'll just enter the room? Sans that incident, the location is great. The room is big enough.

its is a family staycation. the hotel is old so they need to change some of the furnitures and renovate the comfort rooms. staff are courteous and helpful. front desk staff needs a little improvement. but i admire the effort of bringing a small token to our room because of my birthday. i love the buffet breakfast. i probably recommend that they do something about the lobby. a new design perhaps. it needs magic. well still enjoyed my stay because of the food and view of manila bay.

Had an overnight stay at the deluxe room during the month of May. The hotel is classic and has a really good breakfast buffet. Security is also very good and the location is convenient. Lots of convenience stores nearby and a short walk to Robinsons Manila. The room was big and so was the bathroom. The bathtub I think would be able to fit Filipino people comfortably. Complete amenities: toiletries, robes, wi-fi, hairdryer as well as the morning paper. My only problem was it took 2 hours to check... Read more

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Free WiFi. Staff excellent and always friendly and helpful. The main restaurant is very stylish and excellent food/wine - note they have a dress code although not rigidly enforced. The security is excellent approaching and entering the hotel. Location is good - not too far from Ocean Park and Mall of Asia.

Went there a few days back and I must say things are better than before. The ambiance and the food is exquisite. Even met the kitchen boss Chef Salvatore. He explained most of the offerings that they have there. I am definitely looking forward to the new culinary offerings.

We booked the junior suite room for my wedding. We had an ocular visit first before we finally decided to book the room. The staff who assisted was very accommodating, answering ALL of my questions paired with a warm smile. The room was picturesque specially the view they gave us, it was over looking the whole Rosas Blvd and Manila Bay. They responded to all of our requests in a jiffy. Everyone was just polite and it made me feel like they were celebrating with me on my wedding day pictorials. T... Read more

Awesome 3 days stay with my family. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Thank you Trixia at front desk and Jayson from housekeeping. Food at both Corniche Restaurant and Tepanyaki are excellent. Within walking distance to Robinson's Shopping Mall and most nearby Malls. Close to NAIA airport too. No hesitation to recommend and will be back here again.

Excellent service of the staffs, very fast response to every guest needs. I am fascinated by their linen attendant (Peter) because he can fix a bed, everything in the bed like linens, changing the cover of the pillows in less than 3 minutes??? So far we are enjoying our stay here. High five Ô?? for this hotel and for the employees. Keep it up guysÔ?║????????????

I had a chance to have an Easter staycation with my kid, sister and nephew here and the experience was all worth it! I love everything about it - the rooms, the swimming pool, gym, facade, lobby and service! Dining at Corniche was definitely a must! They have a wide variety of cuisines to choose from, be it local and international. The hotel also offers promos on special days like the ones we had during Easter 2014. Our kids enjoyed so much! Plus! a great view of Roxas Boulevard and Manila Bay!... Read more

We had a hard time getting to the hotel because of a Dutarte rally at a nearby park. When we arrived, we had been upgraded to a Premier floor so that was nice. We had a lovely view of the harbour. The room was fine - not really our style but clean. The bed was in the center of the room and then there was about 4 feet behind it until you got to the window - an odd setup. The bed didn't face the nice view. There was a weird smell in the hallways though, and I wondered if it was some sort o... Read more

The pool is also excellent, designed for serious swimmers rather than sun cruisers. The hotel has a very decent atmosphere. Guests have to follow a dress code during dining to maintain the professionalism. Additionally the service is very good and have access to all means just outside the hotel. Their restaurants offer great food. The only downside is that the amenities in the rooms are quite old and need refurbishment.

I host large meeting around the world and I selected this property for my event in Manila. I arrived late last night (7/18 at 1130pm) from JFK NYC and was greeted with a chaotic lobby with not enough staff to handle the needs of guests. After waiting to check in I was asked to pay for an upgrade to executive lounge. I often pay extra as the lounge is worth the privacy and convenience. Despite the 12 hour time difference, I was able to fall asleep but was unexpectedly woken by the sound of ha... Read more

I initially booked a standard deluxe but at the front desk was convinced to pay extra to upgrade so the room has a better sea view and larger. I took the offer of a much more expensive room with three complimentary fruits , but wifi is not free 20 usd per day, it's not the money but its the feeling that i had been had. Anyway I paid not wanting to argue. The rooms were like from the 80's. Every thing in mini bar is pricey and room service prices are not friendly either. All in all i paid 7200... Read more

The room was well kept but I'm not a big fan of how the bathroom is always cold. If there was something to make it a tad bit warmer. We only stayed overnight and it was a good night's sleep and we were looking forward to the breakfast buffet in the morning. The buffet wasn't very spectacular, nothing as special as other hotels we've tried.

The Diamond Hotel is one of the older hotels in Manila. However, don't let that age mislead you, even if you can see some signs of it being old already, you will not suffer smelling moldy floors and stinky cigarette-smelling rooms. Hotel rooms are spacious, and well appointed. Air-conditioning is cold, but not noisy. I just wished the cable tv had more channels, but you didn't go to this hotel to watch TV, right? The minibar has all the necessary stuff: sweets, chips, soda and even beers. If I h... Read more

Bathrooms have bathtub & complete toiletries. Room services are fast & very accurate, w/ 6 elevators that are real fast! Bacon is served in the buffet breakfast!
