We stayed here this May 2016 for the first time because of its location (Ayala shopping center)The hotel is nice but the rooms could do with some new carpets. Our room had a bad odour. Otherwise it was all good and clean and the staff is very polite. The restaurant is also a nice place to dine with very helpful and friendly staff. We are happy to recommend the hotel.

Close to Ayala.. Love their breakfast!! Had Indian Dinner buffet-so so.. Lot of food choice at Ayala.. Love their fruit plate with Rumbotan & Mangoostan! Staff very courteous. Street side rooms are noisy in the day time. Prefer the mall view rooms.

This hotel is in a nice location in the city. It is connected to a very large mall (Ayala) where there is a nice courtyard outside with a lot of great restaurants and options. The hotel is clean and the staff are great. If you're a platinum member the concierge lounge is really nice. I'd definitely recommend this place.

This was nothing short of perfect. A basic room, but service was some of the best I experienced in any hotels anywhere. Everybody from front desk, to bartenders, to the cooks prepping the buffet were full of smiles. The housekeeper Ariel, helped us find lost items, left us nice notes, and followed up on our many requests! The restaurant was amazing, both in breakfast and dinner buffet. Romeo, our charming waiter Jazz and Hara on the door remembered us by name every day (and we don't have easy na... Read more

Stayed here for four nights on business. Ideally situated next to a shopping mall with a wide array of restaurants to choose from. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bar and pool areas welcoming and staff attentive. Rod and Rio who serviced my room were very thorough and I loved the personal notes left for me each day. Free WiFi available the throughout the hotel.

Amazing hotel stay experience. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. A big thank you to Ariel, Raymart, Jazz, Kai, JB and all the other very nice people who made my stay comfortable! I've stayed in quite a few hotels and none of them matched this one. I highly recommend this hotel.

I've stayed all over the world and the staff at the Cebu Marriott were one of the friendliest, most helpful of anywhere I have been. No request was any trouble and they went out of their way to help. The hotel is located next to a very large and modern shopping mall with excellent retail outlets, food outlets and restaurants and a cinema. The food at the hotel restaurants was consistently high quality, fresh and with good variety. The internet was a good speed in the rooms and public areas. The ... Read more

The staff are all very friendly and I feel very welcomed here. Kai, Bon, Jazz, and Ben are AMAZING people, so I would highly recommend getting to know them. They will really take care of you and your family during your stay there. The food is GREAT and the pool deck the perfect place to wind down at after a long day.

I have just reviewed Garden Cafe separately and in it, I gave full commendation to the service they extended to me during my brief stay at Cebu City Marriott. It would be a disservice if I consider that with my review of the hotel as I don't want to turn things askew. I arrived Friday after a 3-hour delay after my flight was cancelled from Manila. The gentleman at the airport representing the hotel gently informed me I could not be part of the airport pick-up as this is supposed to be pre-booked... Read more

Can't beat the location, concierge lounge was wonderful, room was nice, and service excellent as always. Hard to beat this hotel choice assuming one doesn't mind the $ or a marriot member. The lobby does get a bit crowded though, so be aware when waiting for elevators.

I stayed in room 626 for three nights. I noticed a plaque near the registration desk commemorating a 2008 renovation. In my opinion, the property is due for another refresh. The room furnishings are a bit tired and dated. The bathtub surface had a few repairs and should be replaced. During my stay, the hallways were being repainted, and the paint being used had an extremely strong off-putting smell. Service was a high point - everyone was very attentive and courteous, in particular the breakfa... Read more

I often try to make an objective review of the hotel as much as I can, so I divided the review in 5 parts namely location, service, design, comfort, and value for money, give a rating for each important element, and average them to get a fair grade. LOCATION - 5 stars Located in the Cebu Business Park, Marriott Hotel is just a stone's throw away from the Ayala Center mall, offices, restaurants and other establishments. It's located in a bustling street but still quiet and safe enough for disce... Read more

One can expect a quality of service consistent with the US Marriott brand , so American tourists would feel right at home here. Location is a 2 minute walk to one of the largest malls in Cebu with a cinema and various well known local and global retail brands. The hotel is getting a little tired and in need of a complete refresh after so many years of service.

We picked this place during our stay because it is near the AYALA mall and other restaurants. They provide great service, the staffs were courteous and attentive of your need. There was excellent selection of food (buffet breakfast). Its a little bit pricey, but you get the value of your money.

Best idea EVER!!! Wow what an awesome experience. You get a selection of fruits to mix in and all the ingredients to make a really tasty cocktail. Plus you can play mixologist for the night amongst your group of friends. We actually did this for 2 nights because it is that good. We made mixed a range of flavours: kiwifruit, pineapple, calamansi, watermelon, orange and mangoes. Plus you can mix and match however you wanted. My stay at the Marriott is always a good experience. It may not be the least expensive option in the area, but the location and the service very well make up for it. Location - Its location in Cebu Business Park makes it very ideal for business travelers. Cabs are available 24/7. It is also adjacent to the Ayala Cebu mall, where you have a lot more dining options. Food - I got an Executive room during my stay, which gave me access to the Executive Lounge. It's a good place to stay in Cebu, staff are nice, place is clean. Too bad I'm too tired to go down the lobby to enjoy the great music during evenings. Buffet breakfast is good. Lunch or dinner meals are I think pricey for its taste. You can try the other restaurant just right outside Marriott (Ayala Mall).

This is our third time in the hotel and the staff never disappoint us. The staff always provide an excellent customer service, the TOP reason why we always choose to stay here. We were a group of 9 with three young kids. Special mention to Eric, the personal trainer a relieving lifeguard . Thanks so much for always looking after our needs especially when my kids were at the pool. We will never forget your help and looking forward to see you next year.

A great place to unwind. The hotel has a great staff. Its a short walk to the mall. The gym is well equipped. The food is really great too. If you have access to the executive lounge you wont regret it. Small treats but really delicious and filling. Dont miss out on the breakfast, its really worth it located down in the ground floor.

Right smack in the center of Cebu business district! Very nice rooms! Nice lobby for an old hotel. Food and Service is great! What I like most about this place are their pillows!!! I can sleep all day! Price - Mid range. Function rooms are huge and adequate. The best place to stay when you're in Cebu.

Staff is lovely at this hotel, but it is dated and needs a remodel. The hotel is quite loud for light sleepers as the heavy doors are constantly slamming and rooms are not sounds proof. Try for a corner room and away from the elevators if you can. Gym is descent with older equipment. Pool is nice! Oh and the spa at the mall whom the hotel uses, is not very good.

After enduring a flight delay, it was such a relief to finally get to the hotel. The reception made all the difference as I was upgraded to the executive floor and the room was very spacious and most of all comfortable. As a person with a very public job, I value my privacy and enjoy quiet surroundings and since I wake up early, a quiet breakfast is such a treat. All I can say is Thank you Marriott.

Well, if I'm just in the city, I'd choose not to go far but to head to the Garden Cafe International Dinner Buffet for dinner and yes, unlimited Mojitos!!! I frequent this hotel where I meet up clients and friends too. It's just very cozy! And what a perfect secret place to have a date with someone while in the busy city of Cebu where a lot of people could spot you, but, I prefer this for premium gastronomic hideaway with my love.

The hotel was wonderful all in all but what was best about it was that there was amazing service. I had three housekeepers: E.J., Dane, and Mawel. They were the nicest people ever and when they came to clean your room they did it with a smile on their faces and always showed that they truly cared about your well-being. Everyone in the hotel who works here is nice and practically jumping at the ready to help you with all things. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
