This is an excellent and very pretty little hotel, with 'classy' decor of furnishings and paintings, both in and out of the room, which was modern, very clean and with a comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom. Attractive top floor terrace where they serve a a more than adequate breakfast buffet. All the staff were very polite and helpful at all times, and they allowed me to keep the room a little longer at no cost, before my late departure for the airport. There are good local bus services to ... Read more

Charming little boutique hotel in Miraflores. The staff was extremely helpful -- they arranged hotel transport (extra cost) and offered recommendations for sightseeing, dinner, etc. The staff also help arranged a city tour. The accommodation was roomy and clean -- and the room had an in room safe. Computers were accessible in the lobby if you needed them and wifi worked in the central locations. Breakfast was plentiful with a mix of hot and cold options each morning. The cook would make eg... Read more

Place is very close to Miraflores, so it is nice if going to do a longer stay (I only stayed overnight while I flew to Cuzco next day) That being said, it is at the edge of the barrio proper and there is nothing very attractive nearby (do not know if safe) The staff was nice although had to get an uber as reception forgot I was traveling in the AM. Room was small, noisy and bathroom was decent. They do have a reception cocktail which I thought was nice. All in all: 2.5-3.0, there must be bette... Read more

Firstly, the one downside is its far from the airport but in many respects that's a great thing, because it's in beautiful Miraflores. That district of Lima is immaculate. Very pretty, lots of shops, this hotel puts you in the middle of a great spot. As for the hotel, our room was nice and writer and clean. Great value for the price too. Our favorite part of the trip was the staff. They went above and beyond time and again to make sure we were taken care of. Starting with a free drink, breakfas... Read more

We stayed here for one night, and were really impressed with the good service provided by the hotel front desk staff -- they were really helpful and thoughtful in providing assistance on all our queries. Rooms were nothing fancy but comfortable. The shower design was problematic though, and we ended up with a flooded bathroom floor. Breakfast was ok, the breakfast room was very nicely decorated with a small outdoor garden.

This hotel is not in the nicest of areas, even for Lima. Our room faced a very loud and busy street. The picture of the restaurant is the nicest place in the hotel. It is a shame the other common areas and rooms are not as nice. I think you can do better with your $ elsewhere in Lima. My friend stayed at the El Golf Hotel Boutique for the same amount and she said it was much nicer.

The front of the building, lobby and breakfast area of this hotel are quite pretty. The rooms do not convey the same level of class. The size was nice but the walls provided absolutely no sound proofing. I heard people talking who were on a different floor of the hotel, seriously. The room was clean, comfortable bed, plenty of water pressure & hot water, the included breakfast was nice and the servers were friendly (not a common find in Peru). The shower was awkward in size, we drenched the ... Read more

I spent 3 nights at this hotel and I can tell that it is such a nice place. It is very clean, the breakfast is very good and it is near of the most popular attractions. There are also very good restaurant that you can reach by walk. But the most important thing is that the people working at this hotel are really exceptionnal. They take care of their guests and are always aware to see if everything is ok. I recommand strongly this hotel. Thanks for all the good care.

I was impressed with this hotel as soon as I entered the lobby. It was very small, but with beautiful paintings all the way up the walls of the high ceiling. The front staff was professional, courteous, and extremely polite. The room was small but had a very comfortable bed, was extremely clean, and there were chocolates on my pillow! I love little touches like that. The shower had excellent water pressure and lots of hot water. After an 11 hour flight it was a wonderful place to spend the night... Read more

I arrived very late in the evening for my check-in, and from the moment I arrived until the moment I left, the service and hospitality I received was impeccable. A lovely rooftop terrace for lounging exists, along with the ability to order food and beverage at your convenience. For the price, the rooms were glamorous, even by American standards; amazing water pressure, large comfy beds, douv├ę and pillows, stereo system, large flat-screen and a modern fridge for storing your items. I was thoroug... Read more

The hotel is much nicer on the inside than what it looks like on the outside. Great location and very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were a bit cold, but it was also winter... Great eats nearby! Staff recommends two restaurants that we went to -- sabores peruanos and punto azul, and both were very delicious!

What a wonderful and welcoming hotel! The staff at Vila Santa are superb! They were friendly, helpful and made our stay extra special! Our bedroom and bathroom was a very good size but our favourite spot had to be the top floor of the hotel which served as a restaurant/social area and had an open balcony for taking in the view (and smoking!). The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the nearest big supermarket/pharmacy and it is a short taxi ride (Uber is extremely reasonably priced!) to the main stri... Read more

I liked this hotel very much! It is a ray of sunshine in otherwise gray Lima. Ibel, Alma, and the gordita from the restaurant (I am so sorry that I have forgotten your name! We talked every morning, and you let me pet the little Cuy that is kept as a pet in the beautiful dining terrace overlooking Lima.) were so welcoming and helpful! I was greeted with such a friendly and welcoming manner every morning. Any question or assistance that I requested was met immediately with kind attentiveness.... Read more

Vila Santa is excellently situated and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions in Miraflores. It's within easy reach of Barranco a beautiful bohemian neighbourhood. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff friendly and always accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here due to location and friendliness and cleanliness representing great value for money. A real gem and hard to find hotels like this.

Breakfast wonderful everyday. Hot water for shower. Staff outstanding. Secure parking below. Gym...bikes. A little noisy busy street below. If you need anything...just ask! Very clean, comfortable. Recommend you don't rent a car in Lima. Taxies a better idea. Traffic is insane. TV cable limited to Spanish language. No USA news except using internet...slightly spotty at times. Front desk will arrange travel and sightseeing. ??????

Based on Trip Advisor reviews and the great price, we chose this hotel for four days while in Lima and were thrilled with it. The lobby is lovely, the staff were welcoming and most spoke English well. The room was small, but clean and cute and was all we needed. Gary in the kitchen was awesome and made us a special ceviche, which was great. Miraflores is a great place to be, close to the beach and some wonderful restaurants. Our room was above the street and traffic was pretty loud, so be sure t... Read more

We stayed at Hotel Vila Santa Miraflores for one night only before we flew out. I had run out of clean clothes by the end of the trip so I separated the soiled clothing and organised to have it cleaned as I had nothing to wear the next day home. They threw the soiled clothing back into my bag and ignored the request, so I had to make the 30+ hour trip home in dirty clothing. When questioned about it, they said they couldn't find the clothing. Also, on check out their eftpos wasn't working. The... Read more

I spent a week at Hotel Vila Santa in October 2016 for a business trip. The hotel is clean, staff are great and the breakfast is very nice. Staff provided me with bottled water on arrival at 2 am from a long flight into Peru. Was pleased they had English speaking reception staff, since my Spanish is sub-par at best. They arranged safe drivers to take me where I needed to go, which is very important in Lima as none of the taxis are actually licensed and they are not always safe. The hotel is... Read more

Everything was terrific! The breakfast room is bright and cheery and was a welcome sight on gray, rainy mornings. The buffet was excellent, and it was a treat to have eggs cooked any way I wanted them. My room was lovely, clean, and quiet, though it was on the front of the hotel. There is free internet use and free bottled water each day. Great location, safe area to walk in the evening, 2 good restaurants serving Peruvian cuisine down the street and several other restaurants nearby, small ma... Read more

The hotel is very clean, the staff was really nice, my favorite part was the roof where we ate breakfast every morning. The room I did not love, it was on the third floor next to the street so at night and very early in the morning it got really loud. We went in June-July so winter was already there and the smell of humidity in the room did not go away. It┬┤s definitely a pretty hotel but it needs some maintenance in the rooms and bathrooms.

We checked into this hotel in the morning, and found our room to be functional. Nothing fancy, but had all the amenities. It is enough to just use it for the night, and head out for the day. We stayed here two nights, and found it to be comfortable. They have a very cute terrace where they serve breakfast. they make eggs on request, and have a huge variety of breads, cereals, coffee, tea etc. for bfast.
