My family and I stayed in room no 4. It is a to bedroom appartement. It has a kitchen and a large livingroom. A great place but both beedrooms smelled moldy. We asked for a new room, but they didn't have any vacant. They tryed to clean the rooms, but it didn't help much. Since we had to keep the windows open at night, it was quite noicy in the mornings. The resturant is cosy and looks nice but we never ate there. Pool is small and not very clean, but the area where the pool is nice for relaxing.... Read more

We spent five nights in this hotel and it was a wonderful base for visiting Lima. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and very helpful and they really made us feel right at home. The room we had was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, as were all the other facilities. The restaurant is good (breakfast is included in the room rate) and they also referred us to many good restaurants in the neighborhood. We could walk to the big mall nearby which had banks and everything else we needed to ... Read more

I stayed twice over the month of May with my brother A great atmosphere, lovely staff and very clean and tidy apartment no complaints from us They are helpful with everything from taxi to tour arrangements Food is of a high standard and very tasty the breakfast is simple ( eggs fruit salad fresh rolls juice and tea or coffee) but it's good and it certainly is fresh

I had a great stay here. The hotel had really friendly staff and the breakfast is amazing. It's in a good location, within walking distance to attractions and in a pleasant area. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. One tip - avoid the airport pickup! I couldn't find the driver at the airport even after 15mins of searching so ended up catching a cab (and then the driver showed up at the hotel and made me pay for the pickup anyway). But the hotel was very apologetic about it. Overall, I really en... Read more

Cleanliness: 5/5 D├ęcor: 6/5 Location: 2.5/5 Breakfast: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Stayed in Room # 1 Pros: - Couldn't speak Spanish well, but staff was friendly and patient. - Free breakfast; excellent breakfast jam (surprisingly, pineapple) - About 30 minutes from both the Larcomar and Museo Larco. - 2 bathrooms - Free WiFi mostly worked Cons: - An hour away from the airport (14km). - $25 taxi to get there, $45 roundtrip (for us) - NO SIGN indicating arrival at hotel (ring the doorbell at # 276)... If you're looking for a good night's rest, a warm shower, decent wifi or a normal pull-out bed, and overpriced cab, this is not your place. At least 3 rooms kept us up until 2:00am despite complaints to the front desk, there was no hot water, awful wifi, and the worst excuse for a roll-away bed I've ever seen (see photos) which was supposed to be included in the price although we were charged an additional USD$20. We decided to leave the hotel after one night. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to ... Read more

We were in #15, a very noisy unit with a terrible musty smell. I could hear a lot of noise. The breakfasts came with lukewarm coffee which was not enjoyable. We also overpaid for the room. I also made the mistake of having a dinner at the restaurant my first night, and I suffered from terrible stomach issues after that. Be careful with this place!!! They also overcharge for everything.

We found this hotel to be the perfect respite in a busy city. The apts are well supplied and attractive. The gardens are beautiful, the food is good...but it's the kindness of the staff, and owner Lucy, that really make this a wonderful stay! The location is good, everything is close, the neighborhood is quiet within walking distance there are banks, restaurants, shopping.

We stayed at the Peru Star Apartments Hotel twice during our visit to Peru - both times the rooms were very nice, clean, with comfortable beds and warm blankets (important, as it was wintertime). Although each room was different, both had nice kitchens and living room spaces, and although we didn't hang out much in the apartment, the extra space was nice to spread all our luggage out for packing/repacking. Rugs on the floor were key, as the tile was very cold early in the morning! Hot shower ... Read more

Our nights in the town house room were great. We loved the comfy beds and couches and of course the television that had an english option. However, the wi-fi was a pain to deal with because we had to re connect every few hours. Overall the restaurant, service and security were top notch and made our vacation in Peru more enjoyable.

I was so amazed! The front door opened into a beautiful oasis. Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive until 2 am, but they were up and welcomed us into what felt like home. The next two days their staff pampered us with yummy food, the best espresso ever, made up the beds each day, and were all so very kind and friendly. There were 8 of us in two different apartments. Both spaces had beautiful wood floors, elegant kitchens, big TVs in the living rooms, the most comfy beds, and great showe... Read more

Stayed along with seven other friends and we were all amazed with the cleanliness, hospitality, and space of both our apartments. We ate multiple times downstairs and the food was delicious, but even more importantly, the espresso was the best we had in our two weeks in Peru. The very sweet young woman at the desk helped us arrange van rides to central Lima (as opposed to using multiple taxis for our big group) and when one of the group members requested decaf coffee, Juan Carlos from the restau... I really dont care for big chain hotels so this was perfect! Nice small hotel with great service. Leslie at the front desk was wonderful at answering all my questions, getting me taxis, giving me recommendations. The place is very clean and the neighborhood is safe. there are some excellent restaurants nearby (La Bombonniere, one block away on the same street, and Tanta at a big mall like 3-4 blocks away on Salaverry Ave. I will definitely choose this place again if i go back to Lima

We arrived and were immediately greeted by A very friendly receptionist named Leslie who helped us with any needs we had. We were hungry and went to the restaurant on the apartment property. **WOW!!** is what came out of our mouths after tasting the succulent and absolutely amazing food. Juan Carlos was there for us at all times and made us feel very comfortable and important. Oscar, Romina, Javier, Carlos and Rojas went above and beyond to comfort and cater to us. This is in a very safe and hig... Read more

I've been travelling to Lima quite often for 2yrs now and was excited to find the Perustar. Now its my place to stay when in Lima. Every room has its personal unique comfortable decor with most including a full kitchen ... its great to get up and make a cup of fresh coffee! But only a 5 minute walk away is a mall with an array of coffee options and restaurants. And how perfect for a family. Plus the staff are always welcoming and helpful!! Very nice, beautiful, spacious safe condos inside a courtyard with amazing fresh breakfast & other meals. Rooms are clean, quirky, not looking like a typical chain hotel, but having something special. Nice patio & balcony from the suites. Beautiful plants- somebody is taking good care of this place with love.
