The hotel offers international standards and features a qualified, friendly staff that will help you to make your stay enjoyable. Personal remark: hotel management did allow me to park my 4x4 on the hotel driveway because it did not fit into the underground garage.Unfortunately, the rates are also at an least international level. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. A minor downturn for the hotel is the location being situated off major business, shopping and touristic areas. There is a... Read more

The Melia is a wonderful hotel in Lima. The staff is helpful and kind, the rooms are lovely, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are updated and modern. Although it is not in the tourist area of the city, it is in a wonderful part of the city with great shops and restaurants and it is very safe.

It's quite easy to write about Meli√£ hotels because of their known high standard on everything. I had the pleasure to stay on this hotel due to an overbooking on Lima's airport. Dinner was exellent, then we had a great time at lobby's bar (expensive beer but was wirth it), wooonderful room with a good bath tube, and good everything. Hotel has a nice gym, lots of good places with a view and one amazing roof top. Also a good swimming pool which we couldn't use cuz it was winter....Simple awesome.

My girlfriend and I spent our first night in Peru at the Melia Lima. When we arrived they checked us in quickly and had to only wait a brief moment before being able to get to our room. Positives: Great concierge, free wifi, clean rooms, large bathrooms and good location (not to far from Miraflores), and we got a complimentary Pisco Sour. Negatives: The bed was a bit hard. I'm all for a solid mattress but it was a bit much for me. Overall: Great hotel for the price, and would recommend if yo... Read more

We stayed here courtesy of Avianca as a result of a mechanical failure on their plane making us miss our onward flights. Whilst the rooms where spacious and comfortable, the set menu food left lots to be desired! Never before have i been served pasta salad for starters followed by spaghetti bolognase or spaghetti carbonara - pasta overload. And the service in the restaurant was poor, we constantly had to ask for plates on the buffet to be refilled or wait for almost an hour between courses - no... Read more

This is a business hotel our tour of Peru involved 3 stays here the first two times we were told the room had been booked in Peru and the room was noisy with traffic and a paper seller shouting outside. The room was booked from the UK for the last stay and we had a room that was larger and quiet away from the road. The bar does not display any prices the reason for this is clearly the excessive price they charge about three times the price anywhere else and this was at a time when they advertis... Read more

On the positive side, good breakfast and friendly staff. On the negative side, rooms are very old and need to be remodel; also, requested non-smoking room for the whole family and our children where assigned to a section where the hallway had a very strong cigarette smell - clearly will not be my choice of future stays in Lima.

We were on our honeymoon and on our last day Avianca oversold our flight and put us up in the Melia. Out of 7 hotels we stayed in in Peru (only 2 being 5 star) this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in and it claims to be 5 star. The room smells old and musty with dirty carpet. Our room faced onto the road and you would have thought the window was open it was so noisy. The light socket was hanging off the ceiling in the bathroom. The food is average. The service is average. Very disappointed ... Read more

Since I am a Melia Rewards Platinum member, I`ve stayed at ‚??The Level‚?? which has a private place for check-in and breakfast. Guess better service as well. Nice location. Our room was quite large. Nice bathroom. Anyway, rooms are very old and need to be remodel. But the real problem is that the hotel stays on the corner of an intersection of two very busy avenues. Traffic noise is a constant. Even during late nights. And remember that Peruvian people love to honk. They honk a lot, for everyt... Read more

Service was impeccable! Was in town visiting for work and was lucky to book a room at the Melia Lima. I happened to stumble into the Level Lounge on the 9th floor and the service was excellent. Good food and great drinks. If you happen to go ask the servers Rodrigo or Francisco for drink recommendations, I was very impressed. Hospitality was great with all employees, even as an English speaker. Hope to visit again soon!

I loved everything from the rooms to the morning breakfast. My room was on the 5th floor and the view was amazing. It had a huge bathroom with a great bathtub. The people who work there are so polite and gentle. Great place to stay if you're on a business trip.

I had a very nice stay in the Melia Hotel in Lima for four days in August 2016. The service and staff of the hotel are impeccable and very pleasant. The quality of food in the restaurant and in the lounge on the executive floor was outstanding, even for Lima, which is known for its cuisine. There is a nice exercise room and a new sauna that was added during the past year. The size of the rooms is large and spacious and the sheets and pillows are very lovely and comfortable. All of th... This hotel is located at a very busy intersection with constant traffic and incessant noise. It was hard to sleep. Worse, on our last night, there was a loud party in the dining room with booming music that woke us after midnight. The main purpose a hotel is to provide a place to sleep, and this hotel fails its basic purpose.
