Amazing hotel and service. Of course, service and amenities are expected from any JW Marriott property, but this one still managed to exceed expectations. From the moment we checked in at the front desk with Valentina and Oscar, we felt completely at home. Once they learned we were engaged the day before we were upgraded to the best room they had available (24th floor suite). Additionally, when we returned from dinner a congratulatory bottle of champagne was waiting for us. A late checkout... Read more

Such an impressive property, it made our trip to Lima tolerable. We're not a fan of LIma, but the JW Marriott makes us want to return. The staff was so warm, helpful and knowledgeable about the city. The location is perfect, the views are breathtaking. The Sushi Lounge was the icing on the cake, delicious, fresh sushi. Everyting about the room was exceptional, bedding, television, bathroom; all top-notch.

Stayed here twice in the past month on business. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff are exceptional. The rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast is particularly good and I really enjoyed the mimosa. Of particular mention is Alexis, who I believed worked in the room housekeeping department, he gave me excellent, unprompted advice about the local area and must see sights. He was polite and friendly and an asset to your business.

Just returned from a few days at the JW Marriott Lima and can't say enough about this wonderful property. The hotel is very modern yet comfortable and welcoming. We faced the ocean for an amazing view from the 19th floor. Across the street is a large open air mall with premium retailers and lots of fun places to eat or have dessert. Traffic in Lima is terrible, so it is so nice to be able to walk across the street and have all of this available. There is also a Peru Rail office, so if you plan t... Read more

We are elite Marriott members, and chose this hotel for location and previous reviews. Perfect location, as we are really walkers and wanted to explore the city for the first week before going to Sacred valley, Cusco and Machu Pichu.. Concerned with altitude adjustment as we live below sea level. The hotel lived up to it's hype and more. The Executive Lounge is the best we have ever encountered, with an outstanding staff. We have moved "up" from the Courtyard, just up the road. (The JW was booked out the night we arrived.) And it is true, the view from the 15th floor is rather spectacular. 180 degrees, exposing an impressive coast. With the amenable Lacomar just over the road. The hotel is very well organized and presses most of the right buttons, but at the edge it is getting close to its "use by date". It is not that the place is tatty, it's just that after half a dozen or so years even 5 star hotels need to... Read more

There is a mall across the street with a number of restaurants to choose from and it's a nice part of town where there are plenty of dining options. The view of the ocean would have been great if the fog had ever lifted; can't blame the hotel for that. My only complaint is that the food in the lounge is underwhelming both for breakfast and at dinner time.

Good location great rooms, hotel a little small but because it is next to mall everything is available there, still probably the best in lima, the buffet breakfast is a must, the choice of fruits it's incredible, great selection of local delights

Check in took way too long. But the room was fantastic. AMAZING view. Beautifully appointed. We asked for late check out, which they gave us, but our keys failed to work when we tried to use them after "check out" time. So that was a hassle.... But the hotel is GORGEOUS. I'd highly recommend it - just be prepared for a long checkin process!

I visited the hotel last week. I guess it's great for business people but if you are looking for an authentic Peruvian experience this is not your kind of place. Entrance a little strange with a small lobby, a Starbucks and a Casino...lobby accessible by elevator. Service in the bar was good, although slow. Waitress brought the menu and picked it up again 5 min later without taking the order.... Hotel looks good and well maintained but I guess it's just not my style...

Spent 3 nights here after a trip to Machu Picchu. Hotel is very good, but average for a very good hotel. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Location and city/ocean views are very nice. But it is overpriced for what you get. Seemed like everything is "a la carte" pricing. I agree with previous review that check-in and check-out took WAY TOO LONG. Right across the street from great walks along the cliffs overlooking the beach, and easy access to the mall. Enjoyed their afternoon "tea" bu... Read more

This is a fantastic, modern hotel in a very central location in Lima. The rooms are spacious with amazing ocean views. The hotel has a couple of on-site restaurants, an executive lounge and casino. You are also within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and local attractions. I will definitely stay here anytime I'm in Lima.

We loved this fancy hotel but were super disappointed that the wi-fi cost extra. If I'm paying that much for a hotel room, I do not expect to pay $17/day per PERSON to use the internet. The room was clean, the amenities were nice, and it was close to restaurants.

Very luxury and modern hotel. We booked suite room with ocean view included Jacuzzi. It was larger than we thought but it was so nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. The executive lounge was great with free foods and drinks(excluded alcohol). It right by Larcomar. It expensive to stay but we enjoyed it.

We had an excellent stay here. This is a new-ish, upscale business hotel in a great location on the bluffs of the Miraflores neighborhood, one of the best in Lima. It overlooks the Pacific and the Larcomar shopping center, which is built into the cliffs and located across the street from the JW Marriott. The hotel is part of a complex and is one of two approximately 20-story towers (very tall for Lima), which affords the rooms some fantastic views. We entered right after a huge convention had ar... After two weeks of traveling through Argentina we arrived here. What a relief to find it exactly as we expected it and wanted it to be. The staff was exceptional - Mayra at the front desk could not have been nicer. Common areas are well appointed and comfortable. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant, but we heard it was very good. Our room was large and very comfortable. The shower/bathroom was really the best part. Our beds were perfect. This is not a great place to stay for sight seeing ... Read more

Thanks to Trip Advisor we ate at Amaz. It was great. Our waiter Alan guided and explained what we needed to understand of the variety of foods on the menu. I started with a "delici" white wine poured by their sommelier Federico. He was so kind and helpful in accommodating my need for wine!! We did half portions of the "tostones rellenos" and half of the Causa. We ordered fried tostones a must order!! For main course we split a paiche fish with coconut rice. A delicious Amazonian fish. Hotel is located right in front of Larcomar shopping center. Very accesible and unique location to explore Lima, Peru. The service of course lives up to the JW Marriott brand. We were given a room with a beautiful view to the sea. The hotel staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. While not completely (and I stress completely) the hotel's fault, my only watch out that I have for future guests is for the taxis in the driveway at the hotel. On my last day in Lima I stepped o... Having stayed at many different hotels in Lima, I can say without a doubt that the JW Marriott has been my absolute favorite. Some hotels have great rooms, while others have great service. It's not always easy to find both, but the JW Marriott delivered in all aspects. To begin with, the staff here were second to none. Staying at other hotels in the past, I've often noticed staff avoid eye contact or pretend not to notice you as you pass. At the JW Marriott, EVERY member of team made sure to ack... Read more

Gym facilities are huge, the reason; it's also a private club that shares service with the hotel. Request the view to the pacific, just amazing. I booked an evening tour to see the downtown area in all it's illuminated glory - a tour guide arrived in the hotel lobby and took us to a bus - 10 minutes after leaving the hotel we realized we were on a bus headed for the fountains at Parque de la Reserva instead. I have traveled extensively and am a Marriott Rewards member so I stay at the JW Marriotts when I can. Usually they are very classy and great food. NOT SO with this location in Lima. I drove up in a hired car (late model Mercedes) and there were at least ten parking lot attendants in the parking lot and NOT ONE of them opened the door for me. This has never happened to me before at a JW Marriott. Big deal, I thought, maybe they are busy. So I continued inside to a restaurant where I wa... Read more

We were in Lima after a 2 week jaunt thru Bolivia and Peru, on our way home. The hotel was efficient, clean, restful. We didn't eat there. The room exceeded our expectations. We spoke to the concierge about something when she inquired about our limo trip in from the airport. I'd mentioned that the driver fell asleep and ran off the road, but awakened in time upon being slapped on the shoulder to avoid an accident. Without hesitation she returned our $50 fee.

We recently visited the JW Marriott in Lima and absolutely loved it. The staff is absolutely amazing. Every person on the staff we came across was great. The hotel is also very nicely centralized so you simply have to cross the street for a mall and are a short can ride away from anywhere in Miraflores. Get the ocean view room, it's a treat. If you are staying in Lima, you must stay at the JW. I know we won't be able to stay elsewhere after our wonderful visit. Renzo
